Christina Brooke does this Making Up Your Mind series where she dupes the vibes of palettes that have not yet come out based on swatches using her existing shadows in order to decide whether or not she is going to buy it. Sometimes, she decides that she likes the color story enough to actually buy the palette, even though she can replicate it. Other times, she decides not to buy it.

I grabbed this one as it's my ideal earthy colour story. Can confirm - it's a slate green. EXACTLY the same as the slate green in the Natasha Denona Mini Retro. Also, Fleur and Metro are SLIGHTLY rosier (which I love) compared to the warm tones in the Mini Zendo. Mini Retro & Zendo could dupe the majoriy of this palette (also worth checking out Huda Khaki Haze and Nars Climax Palettes). However, those two palettes don't have bronze shades like Belle or Hope (the Huda and Nars palettes do though) and obviously not Wisteria or Peacock. Also - Lily is out of this world cool and couldn't be duped by the two minis. That said, I could definitely have duped the vibes with my singles. But since it's so rare for me to see a palette that speaks to me this much, I went for it. I'm loving having ALL these shades in one place instead of scattered throughout my collection. I also have all my singles arranged in a very pleasing way right now that's working for me and helping me get good use out of them. I have no regrets. But someone on a no buy or low buy could easily replicate it.

@@hijennwu I just did a test on my eyes in natural light - One of the greens on each eye so I could see them side by side. They are complete indestinguishable on me. I have a neutral skintone. So neutral I'm grey lol. And I'm suuuuper fair. It's possible that with someone less fair with more pigment to their skin that slight differences could appear as the colours mix with the pigment underneath. This is the prettiest color story that ABH has come out with in years! I probably won’t buy it though because like you said there’s nothing that can perform better than indie/ luxury eyeshadows and the actual swatches of the palette aren’t as exciting as the original marketing images. ALSO you have to try the Elf Eye Primer!! It’s a dupe for the UD and it’s only $1.97 at Walmart 😍 it keeps your eyeshadow in place forever and never emphasizes texture even when my eyelids are extra dry and flaky

ABH got me with this palette because _anything_ art nouveau or art deco inspired clutches at my heart and i absolutely HAVE TO HAVE IT (also praying she comes out with it's "deco" counterpart for holiday js) BUT i wanted to say that liberty in the palette is absolutely green. it is basically the same green found in subculture as destiny, that light army green kind of shade and the promo pictures are the most accurate representing that shade.. the swatch for it is absolutely not at all what it is nor is the crushed up version either. so i have no idea what they were doing, but it is definitely a grungy army sort of green. i also want to mention that wings is very much a silver green that is very similar to PMG's sinful in decadence and hope is a dirty olive bronze, so the greens are 100000% there even if it appears they are not!

I'm not a fan of the ABH formula, though so I'm HERE for this much needed Vibe Dupe! Also, love that your new lampshade kind of fits with this palette...I really struggle with eyeshadow primers. I have hooded lids so they get oily, especially in the summer. The only absolutely full proof bomb proof pirmer available now is the Mac Prep and Prime 24 hour extended eye base. Right now I also own the Inglot primer, the Gerard Cosmetics primer and the Milani primer which were all youtube recommendations and none of them are as good as the Mac one for me on my lids. I have also had good luck with simply setting a cream foundation, like the Wayne Goss foundation with a powder and using that as a base. But it is more steps than the Mac primer....

Please never stop duping the vibes and using your fabulous collection ❤️❤️

It definitely reflects the colours of Art Nouveau (which it's inevitably named for) very accurately.
And I'm always looking for me re grungy shades for my collection so dupes and vibe dupes are very interesting to me. Also I have to recommend the NARS Smudgeproof eyeshadow based in the untinted shade. It really holds down even my cream shadows and helps everything retain their intensity for a long time. I don't have oily lids but I know many people who do that adore this product.

My favorite eye primer is the paint pot Painterly from Mac, also yellow ochre. I have no experience with P. Louise but I think they are all good it’s just personal preference and what look you want.🤗

I have been watching this video for the third time... I'm really lusting hard after it but I just cannot get on board with the price.
So, indeed, thank you for saving the day! 😍🙏
Will definitely try to dupe the vibes... which I've never done before 😱.
As for the eyeshadow primer, I'm a huge fan of anti-aging primer potion from UD but intend to try the Milani one because Emily Noel has been raving about it for years.
Still live your content after many years. ❤️

I adore your Duping The Vibe videos! Finding your channel isn't helped me to be a much more conscious beauty consumer, but when I saw this palette, I felt the compulsive need to buy it, though now I feel like I have most of these shades already. For eyeshadow primers, I enjoy the Hourglass Veil Eye Primer; however, my eyeshadow will crease on occasion, but sometimes I love the grunge look of some smudging. The purple shadow Wisteria feels like it is the shade I’m missing within my collection, but the shade you showed might appeal to me a bit more. I recently ordered the Chanel Green Colour Correct after seeing it in a few of your videos, and I am eager to try it! Fabulous video Hannah; thank you for taking the time to share such an informative video! I hope you have an excellent rest of the week!

I just love you. Not in the way that I know you personally of course. But I love who you are and what you give to us, to me. I’m not a poet, and not even a really good writer, so I don’t think I have the words to truly express what I value in you. I think it just boils down to that you model self-love and self acceptance and that’s all. That is why I am a patron. I have the Pat McGrath midnight Sun palette, and her holiday palette from last year, and those two pallets combined with make up geek Tuscan Sun. Charmed, and In The Spotlight, I’m set. I wouldn’t wear the cranberry teal dual chrome, but everything else is accessible in my own collection. By the way, I swear by the Nars eyeshadow primer. I’ve purchased both the light and also medium versions, and they both cancel out lid discoloration beautifully. They aren’t cheap, I think about $26, but one of them has lasted me over a year with daily use. And I have 64-year-old eyelids, and dry skin, and they don’t make my eyelids dry or any more wrinkly than they already are.

The Wet and Wild eyeshadow primer is the absolute best one I've ever tried- better than ABH, better that UD Primer Potion. It doesn't have a white or otherwise concealer-type base like ABH that completely covers your eyelids in a way that makes you look like you've doused yourself in nude paint, and it's incredibly cheap. I have oily eyelids and it almost always prevents any kind of creasing or excessive transfer on my very hooded eyelids (the exception being 95°+ humid sweaty days)

After seeing it swatched out, I can definitely see the look you created coming from that pallette!! I love how creative you are. My eyeshadow collection consists of one large neutral pallette, one large rainbow
eon colorful pallette, 2 smaller pinky peachy toned pallettes (one matte and one all shimmers), and for sheen I've started collecting colorpop super shock singles. The only other pallette I'm in the market for now is a good warm toned bronzy fiery sunset toned one because I love warm tones to make my blue eyes really pop. After I find that, I feel like I could basically do any eye look I could ever want.

But like you, I have WAY too many palettes in my makeup stash and just want to use up what I have. Although I don’t have much palettes with this ABH Color story, I feel I can find what I already own in my makeup collection and do some what of similar vibes to the palette!
Thank you so much for saving me $$$! You’re the best ! 🥰✨
I’m so glad you did this & would love to see you dupe more palettes in the future, that way we don’t need to buy so often when the next new palette comes out, because more likely we already have similar vibes in our own collections!! 😊😊😊😊

Prettiest palette, haven’t been interested in an ABH palette before but once I swatched it in person.. well it swatches amazing and the colour story was amazing but realistically I would’ve only used one shade out of the entire palette so it wouldn’t have made any sense to buy it. Definitely added to cart at one point but glad I held back

Such a good job duping the vibes, Hannah! About the eyeshadow primer I find the original (colorless) Nars Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base to be the best, it has amazing lasting power and the best in working against creasing (have very hooded eyes and am a sweaty person). It has been my go-to for at least 10 years now.

The final look is stunning. And I love that you are always real with us. I only looked at it for the colour story but honestly I can dupe all the colours and I don't want it as its not green - which is what I wanted. I also don't want the purple and some of them are meh so now I don't even want to try it. I have learned a lot by waiting and also not wanting to own a million and one duplicates of things I already have. I have bought 2 palettes and 1 quad this year and haven't regretted it but I know I would get bored of this one.
