Love your take on the whole “eye safe” issue. I love how you point out the FDA has approved all kinds of harmful things (just read The Radium Girls!) so it’s not even something I care about that much. I have incredibly sensitive eyes (sensitive to pollen, onions, a lot of creams, pets, etc) and makeup has literally never bothered my eyes. Do a patch test if you’re concerned about a reaction and then just relax in my opinion. I feel like as a society in general we’re all too obsessed with whats considered “safe” instead of just thinking for ourselves.

The Peacock and green looks were my favorite. You are so talented Tania! Honestly I don’t want too much reality in beauty videos because they are my escape but it was needed in this case. Thank u so much for explaining the whole issue with the warning. As soon as I saw this pallet, I wanted to purchase it. When I saw the warning, I decided not to purchase it, and I was so upset. I don’t use big pallets too much anymore, but my go to big pallets r my Anastasia Glam pallet, my Anastasia Modern Renaissance pallet & the first Patrick Ta pallet that he came out with. Now that u broke down the misunderstanding, I purchased this pallet and I cannot wait to get it. I have so much eyeshadow, that I’ve decided to just use what I already have, unless something really speaks to me and really catches my attention. I know I’m going to love this pallet. Gorgeous looks. I couldn’t resist and bought it. For future videos: mandylea did a great series December 2020 (I could be wrong about the year but I’m close.) She went through her collection and picked out the best shades of pinks, best blues, best neutrals, etc…. She was making her own monochromatic, hand picked, “palettes.” It was an awesome series and a way to go through your current collection.

Your explanation on not safe for the eyes help me a lot. I have just a few products that aren't from Brazil, where I live, and wasn't understanding this concept.
I wish everyone (influencers) new this because I have noticed some saying they aren't sure why it says that and they are afraid of said shades! We all, most likely, already use shades that aren't "safe for eye area" it has been this way for a while.

Hello Tania. I missed this video so I’ll catch up. I bought this palette and I’ve used it a few times but I don’t have a real opinion yet. I love the lavender color. I had to get it because it’s been awhile since they have had a new palette. As far as the not safe shades I’m not so worried because many items in Europe are not approved for the states. I’ve never had an issue personally. Your eye looks are very pretty. I can’t decide my favorite. Now I’m ready to play with this pallet. 💖💄👄
I am Australian so I completely ignore the FDA - and I am not sure about the backlash when brands like PMG has these disclaimers and no one mentioned it. My sister had to return Primrose cause she had an allergic reaction but that is more rare and you tend to know if you have allergies. If people are concerned they could do a swatch test or talk to their allergist. I appreciate the depth you went into explain this as some reviews have also stirred up more concerns without investigating or explaining it. Very well done!
I think a lot of people don’t really know what’s going on in the cosmetic industry and they tend to make more drama where there does not beed to be drama:) I had clients who were allergic to carmine ( which is approved by FDA) but not to the red dyes. The liner is the olive color from Victoria Beckham😍
This palette is stunning and likewise you created amazingly stunning eye looks. I’m light skin tone w cool undertone & greens aren’t flattering on me so this palette is a skip for me personally, but I enjoyed watching all the looks you created. Btw, the light purple shirt you are wearing is perfection on you, the shade of purple is such a flattering and pretty color on you. Thank you for the video.❤️
The price increase makes sense to me given the passage of time and increases in costs of everything. Also, in that general category of palettes (like Natasha Denona, maybe) it seems reasonable.
Wow, you are just stunning! I have been really not buying much makeup this year. Really trying to concentrate on loving my already existing makeup. Then being super thoughtful of what I bring in as I don't have room for what I have. I considered adding more storage but I think I should not. I can fit a lot of makeup already and there is only so much one face with one look a day 6 Days a week can use. I think I do want this palette though.
I kind of feel the same way about make up. I am planning to do a low buy July and hopefully encourage some people to use their beautiful make up that they already have. I will say that I am so so happy with this palette and I absolutely love everything about it.
Thanks for the tutotial, very nice looks. ❤ I just got this from my bf as a christmas present and so far I love it. It’s fun how different shades can draw you in. Personally Fleur is probably the shade I’m least drawn to haha. I have cool undertone so it’s a bit orangey on me, and Metro is for a pretty obvious redish look on me. However, it’s more versatile than I thought from the pictures . 😌 Lili is much more beautiful in real life with the blueish sparkle. My other favourites are Wisteria, Peacock and Muse. And I also like that you can do an entirely green eye as well. You can go very romantic and warm or more grungey by adding Liberty, Peacock or Muse. Yesterday I just smacked Wisteria all over the lid which also worked suprisingly easy (but was very summery obviously). So far, impressed 👍🏼 Edit: I just watched the full video. The reason Why Wisteria and Liberty get muddy is because green and purple are opposites on the color wheel, if you mix them together you create a brownish color

I am absolutely in love with all the five looks you did. My favourites were look number 2 and look number 4. They were absolutely stunning! You really did a fantastic job with this palette. For future videos: mandylea did a great series December 2020 (I could be wrong about the year but I’m close.) She went through her collection and picked out the best shades of pinks, best blues, best neutrals, etc…. She was making her own monochromatic, hand picked, “palettes.” It was an awesome series and a way to go through your current collection.

I wish everyone (influencers) new this because I have noticed some saying they aren't sure why it says that and they are afraid of said shades! We all, most likely, already use shades that aren't "safe for eye area" it has been this way for a while.
Yeah, it’s not common knowledge how the cosmetic industry works and unless someone studies this it’s very hard to fins information about this!

Hello Tania. I missed this video so I’ll catch up. I bought this palette and I’ve used it a few times but I don’t have a real opinion yet. I love the lavender color. I had to get it because it’s been awhile since they have had a new palette. As far as the not safe shades I’m not so worried because many items in Europe are not approved for the states. I’ve never had an issue personally. Your eye looks are very pretty. I can’t decide my favorite. Now I’m ready to play with this pallet. 💖💄👄
I am Australian so I completely ignore the FDA - and I am not sure about the backlash when brands like PMG has these disclaimers and no one mentioned it. My sister had to return Primrose cause she had an allergic reaction but that is more rare and you tend to know if you have allergies. If people are concerned they could do a swatch test or talk to their allergist. I appreciate the depth you went into explain this as some reviews have also stirred up more concerns without investigating or explaining it. Very well done!

I think a lot of people don’t really know what’s going on in the cosmetic industry and they tend to make more drama where there does not beed to be drama:) I had clients who were allergic to carmine ( which is approved by FDA) but not to the red dyes.
The liner is the olive color from Victoria Beckham😍

I’m light skin tone w cool undertone & greens aren’t flattering on me so this palette is a skip for me personally, but I enjoyed watching all the looks you created. The price increase makes sense to me given the passage of time and increases in costs of everything. Also, in that general category of palettes (like Natasha Denona, maybe) it seems reasonable.

Wow, you are just stunning! I have been really not buying much makeup this year. Really trying to concentrate on loving my already existing makeup. Then being super thoughtful of what I bring in as I don't have room for what I have. I considered adding more storage but I think I should not. I can fit a lot of makeup already and there is only so much one face with one look a day 6 Days a week can use. I think I do want this palette though.
I kind of feel the same way about make up. I am planning to do a low buy July and hopefully encourage some people to use their beautiful make up that they already have. I will say that I am so so happy with this palette and I absolutely love everything about it.

I just got this from my bf as a christmas present and so far I love it. It’s fun how different shades can draw you in. Personally Fleur is probably the shade I’m least drawn to haha. I have cool undertone so it’s a bit orangey on me, and Metro is for a pretty obvious redish look on me. However, it’s more versatile than I thought from the pictures . 😌 Lili is much more beautiful in real life with the blueish sparkle. My other favourites are Wisteria, Peacock and Muse. And I also like that you can do an entirely green eye as well. You can go very romantic and warm or more grungey by adding Liberty, Peacock or Muse. Yesterday I just smacked Wisteria all over the lid which also worked suprisingly easy (but was very summery obviously). So far, impressed 👍🏼
Edit: I just watched the full video. The reason Why Wisteria and Liberty get muddy is because green and purple are opposites on the color wheel, if you mix them together you create a brownish color
Can you revisit this palate and do really simple looks, highlighting colors that can be used as ‘one and done’ or max 2 colors?
