Haihai, a two-year-old boy in northern China’s Inner Mongolia, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was just one. Since falling sick, he has learnt to be independent, using chopsticks like a seasoned pro. His family’s story is a sad one.

when he started crying, my heart literally sank because my cousin gets sick super easily and every time my cousin cries, i feel guilty that i cant help him sometimes

I did some research and found out that Haihai has recovered from Leukemia, now he’s a healthy and happy boy. Seems like his recent checkups were all fine as well. I’m really glad this precious angel recovered :) in recent videos he’s still eating dumplings with chopsticks, and thanks his mom for her hard work every time. People we can relax now XD
Edit: Unfortunately I can't really provide a source because I found their account on a Chinese platform, but if anything changes I'll keep y'all posted. Fingers crossed this boy stays healthy and happy :)

When he thanked his mum for cooking dumplings for him and his mother said "It's no bother" , it broke my heart to a thousand pieces. I hope he gets fully cured and eat all the dumplings he want. I really visit him one day.
This was such a sweet comment and I felt the same when I saw how grateful he was for the dumplings. I cried.

I spend my days thinking that it would be nice to be dead and then I see this little baby boy fighting with all he's got *just* to live. ALR1GHT in the video around 2:30 the text said that Haihai's parents often borrow money from friends and families for the treatments, and the parents end up being shunned by some thise friends and families.
Treatment is expensive, especially with two cancer patients at home. They don't look like high income family, probably the same as their friends and families. China does have basic national healthcare plan but only entitled to local hospitals at moment. Many patients have to cross cities or provinces for better treatment which might cause the healthplan invalid. I have heard government is working on balancing the quality of medical care, hopefully it will ease the situation.

my brother was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 3 years old.... after 8 years, he’s now cancer-free and i’m so happy that it did happen. I hope Haihai will be able to survive all of those treatments that he has to undergo. My heart is breaking :((
