    Gynecomastia isnt "fat" underneath the nipple. It's actual breast glandular tissue, the same as women have. The reason it gets worse on steroids is the same reason some men get it during puberty. Testosterone aromatizes (turns into) estrogen during the metabolizing process, and that hormone interacts with the glandular tissue under the nipple, causing growth.

    The main issue is that people no longer know what a true natty is capable of anymore. For reference look at bodybuilders pre-steroids(anything before 1935) and see what the human body is capable of without roids.
    Especially now with everybody being more open with their steroid use but not warning about the risks thus glorifying it and a massive global insecurity plague especially from those taking steroids they have to try and justify it.

    • @heatrs4717
      @heatrs4717 Před 10 měsíci +6

      Well idk how I feel about this, even if they are indirectly "glorifying it" by being open about using it - I think it might still be better that they are open about it. Obviously anyone claiming that it's "not harmful" isn't good for anyone, but at the same time I think people should feel comfortable being open about using steroids if they are so that people won't be misled into thinking they can attain the same physique without steroids.
      I wish people would just get in to fitness to make themselves personally healthier, I seriously don't understand the idea that unless you look as jacked as possible it's not worth even trying, or unless there's a short cut it's a waste of time. It's the absolute worst mindset you can have when it comes to fitness, It's literally only men who care about the difference in appearance when they are on or off steroids, it's not like it's to impress anyone else but themselves - yet most probably delude themself in to thinking that it is. Sad that people will ruin their lives over looking and achieving a psychique 20% faster.

Some have worse cases of natural origin. What it is rare to see is developing gynecamsatia at a later age past puberty, since hormone fluctuation is not normal unless you are taking drugs. However, steroid use has definitely normalized gynecomastia and more so associating it with steroid use itself. I can feel your pain as someone who has been working out for many years, some people assume I am on steroids due to having gyno. I make my own gear it’s easy just a carrier oil like mct oil Benzo benzoate and benzo alcohol. Then the powder is added and it’s heated up and stirred for 20 minutes. Very simple

    The pressure that social media puts on these influencers is so disgusting. They always have to look ripped all the time, they will often deliberately dehydrate themselves to make their veins/muscles look bigger, and starve themselves to maintain a perfect physique. Even aside from PED use, it's an incredibly serious problem.

      It only puts pressure on you if you are part of the social media problem in the first place. You can forgive under 18s obviously as they are more impressionable than they are responsible for.

      @@Philpot1992I think I have. One very funny idea for a gym video. I think I could do that with impressive physique or not. Just by virtue of being able to do 140+ kg on the adductor( lady legs together machine) I got way more to nit-pick about 10+ year old non bodybuilding media nobody cares about. But for the kinda filler bull a gymfluencers channel consists of, spouting the same decent enough advice as everyone else you need the body to show off

    How is there an epidemic?
    How many people have a chemist friend actively selling roids?

    • @gur262
      @gur262 Před 9 měsíci

      My membership is viable for 2 chains. 3 locations in My city. The cheap one with alot of younger folks has 3+ guys, somewhere between 25-35 though that are absolutely clearly on roids. One sponsored. In the other one one time 2 guys walked in one benching 200 + kilo and just looking very much not naturally possible. Another guy that seemingly disappeared now n was trainer wasn't that big but maybe a bit too vascular. The achne though. Alot of it. It's commonplace enough. A gym I used to go to had a pro as owner. A damn big ex of relatives had a stroke. I'd bet he was on roids. Chemist friend? Well the Internet exists.

    It is pretty normalized it feels like. I don't dislike people on gear, but i feel like there should be some shame when openly discussing it (just because it might give the impression that steroids are an acceptable and normal thing to do).
    The honesty is valuable, but i think that the more particular discussions about stacks are outside the realm of helpful. Kinda like how decriminalizing certain drugs has failed horribly in parts of the world.

    as long as people are honest about it i dont see a problem with steroids i always hate that argument like they are glorifying it to a young impressionable audience like if they are a child their parent should control and monitor what they are watching online and if they are an adult they are capable of making their own decision whether they want to take steroids or not

    There is definitely a correlation between the modern meaning crisis ( the lack of higher purpose) and the expansion of the material aspect of a human. Our attention is focused on the expansion of a body via technology to compensate the lack of you can say metaphysics.
