Kevin, Scott Eastwood NEEDS to be Dick Grayson and he needs to have the final scene, where he either confronts Joker, or he calls Batman, calls him Mr. Malone, and reports to him what happened
It wouldn't make much sense for him to call him Mr Malone since that's a thing he solely does in the Grayson comic.
+Stuart McAulay does that mean Matches Malone, Batman's undercover character that he sometimes portrays going back to the 70's? Because I haven't read the Grayson comics.

I think the editing and the song choice for suicide squad made it the best trailer for everyone in a long time. I've watched it about 17 times and I still get excited.

So Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't nearly as expensive as you may think.

They need to do that, a special every time a massive event happens in the comic world. Comics bring people together, Ive never seen cussing inside a comic book shop, just people chilling and reading their heroes, along with "They did wwwwhhhaataattt?!"

I'm still hung up on Jokers grille. Its just such a dated look to me. Feels like late 90's hip hop meets jaws from Bond.
Otherwise I'm interested in SS but DC has failed to capture me too many times for me to be all in on anything they are doing.

I wish I could get tips from kevin smith b/c i'm a writer and i am currently creating a new comicbook universe and other books. Among them are horror, mystery, fairy tale books, and even a screenplay !!! I just live near harrisburg and can't find an agent , publisher, or connections. I just can't wait to get my break and work with the genius Kevin Smith. Kev helped raise me because I started watching his films when i was 8 !!! Hope to see you on the comicbook scene soon !!!

I worked three days on second unit as a lamp operator but watching the #suicidesquad trailer I felt like I was seeing my wife's 20 week ultrasound and finding out it's a boy. I don't even have kids.

You know what that CW Special reminded me of? Way back in the day when I would stay up to watch prime time 'Saturday Morning Cartoon' previews on the networks (still fondly remember them showing a clip of the Animated Star Trek... I just couldn't WAIT to see that one).
Nice to know there is still something that gives me that long lost child like anticipation all these years later ^_^
Best show/ podcast ever, I love you guys, my only suggestion is please regulate ur voice volume better u guys talk so quiet I can't hear you then sometimes Ur way too loud and I have to turn my TV down, anyways thank-you for the free entertainment, its the best

Great show, just one suggestion. Please do something about Marc's audio. There were sometimes when he was almost inaudible.

What I find more baffling than anything - I have spent my life hoping one day I could see Batman fight Superman on screen, or Wonder Woman or Justice League. I never even considered Suicide Squad - and the people making these films are taking this shit seriously. But instead of celebrating or getting excited people are bitching and complaining and nitpicking... because?

Suicide Squad, yes! No scenes of Wonder Woman/Diana speaking, acting or emoting, not digging at all. Its scaring me they wont show even a second of her acting performance but have everyone TALK about how great she looks, and what Wonder Woman is like, SHOW don't TELL. I have little confidence in Gal Gadot as an actress but if she is so great as THE #1 female hero in history then show me that. If its true and shes great I will shut up and join the Gadot band wagon instantly! But not one piece of dialogue from BvS, yet Ive heard a myriad of folks from Suicide Squad speak... concerns me. God I hope Im wrong, i want Wonder Woman to work more than anything else they are making at DC.
+Langley M Neely Relax, WB wouldnt invest so much money, time, and effort on Gal by putting her on the forefront of BVS Dawn of Justice AND give her own solo movie of they didnt see something special in her. Perhaps theyre saving her "performance" for the actual movie or triler, keep in mind the footage they showed us was of an incomplete movie. Have a little faith in these people, Snyder and co, are comic book geeks just like us. They know what theyre doing.
+Langley M Neely I wouldn't be overly concerned about what they've shown so far. This wasn't a trailer, wasn't even a teaser. It was nearly raw footage just to pique some interest.
+The Joker I want to agree but they made Catwoman, Jonah Hex, Green Lantern etc, my levels of faith in WB comic book movies is mixed.

Missing the point and bull, CBM's were taken(kinda) seriously till Batman & Robin killed the genre, then Singer and Raimi earned back the trust.
Sure, Marvel Studios track record is not perfect but its better than the WB/DC team that can't make a hit movie unless Superman or Batman are in it(even then its 50/50).
Looking back i noticed '87, '97 and 2007 were REALLY bad years for CBM's, lets hope 2017 breaks the chain. :)

@ Kevin, maybe you can mention to WB about making a Sunday DC movie night. They should have plenty of animated movies to build characters awareness.

Its so nice to listen to a show with dudes who love DC as much as I do. It's such a cliche to be on the DC H8tr train these days. To those who get how bomb DC is (while still intelligently appreciating Marvel), this is so refreshing.
Just an observation , it's really doesn't matter but for the shake of mythology , Thor is an actual God in Norwegian mythology . People actually worshipped him in ancient Norway . Wonder woman is a comic fictional character. Never excisted in Greek mythology as a person . That'a all ! The DC movies will be great . i'm excited ! cheers Kevin and Marc !

I think John Goodman is a government employee who knew the Cloverfield monster was coming. He built his shelter and last minute grabs his neighbours and takes them down with him. I think it runs concurrently with Cloverfield.

They teased Harley in the suicide squad episode of Arrow. And they clearly happy to use different people in the TV shows. So there is room for a different actress playing Harley

there are rumours that 10 Cloverfield Lane was not about nor connected to Cloverfield before test screenings of the original version of the film (then called The Cellar and production title Valencia) went bad and they went for extensive reshoots and changes to the story
+IH8YH so it was much easier to "hide" the fact that is connected to Cloverfield NOW since the people that saw it as "The Cellar" just saw a not so good movie about people in a bunker. If the test screenings already had the Cloverfield connection I am 101% sure the word would have gotten out MUCH earlier
I'm obviously gonna see them, but I am still not sold on BvS or Suicide Squad. Personally I think they are gonna be terrible (hope I'm wrong though). BUT to my massive surprise... I'm sold on that Wonder Woman film. I'm sold.

About the Cloverfield movie, heres what I read.
The movie was originally a post-apocalyptic movie. It had nothing to do with Cloverfield. The film was complete but not to be released, or something like that. They went back and did reshoots to fix up a few things, to make it match up with the Cloverfield. I don't know, but I don't believe JJ has anything to do with it (just his name/production company). It might be an okay movie, but the Cloverfield elements are probably just tacked on. Don't just take my word for it though. Read up about the original movie and see what you think.
That was just smoke and mirrors to hide what it really was.

Dude. The Flash is not a great show. They seem to do all the things I hate about superhero tv adaptations. Half of every episode is a "scientific" origin explanation that doesn't make any sense. Flash for some reason is actually a corporation that wrongfully imprisons people without trial or a jury of peers or fucking anything. Flash is actually a horrifying villain that mirrors everything about cops we are currently all up in a fuss about. And for no-god's sake, why does CW have to give all the metahumans the same god-damn origin? Just fucking hit the guy with lighting! His power is that he goes faster than light and travels through time. A particle collider won't fucking do that to you, just hit him with lighting and explain it as magic in the twentieth episode. JEEZ. The one thing it does right is the one thing Smallville didn't do, and thats the fight scenes. And the fight scenes are so awesome they're worth all the bull shit in between.
