Six months is a super fast turn around. What amazing systems they have in place yo complete cars in such an efficient way. Wow
Yep not bad singer it's years until you can get one
@@allensaunders449I believe Singer is at an 8 year lead time right now. GW is I believe 5-1/2 years
Dallara have been making f1 chassis right?
@@user-io4sr7vg1v indycar.
@@user-io4sr7vg1v I believe they're still making part of the Haas cars.
Damn, Dallara has been in the game for so long that is takes six months for a car. That's insane. What an amazing facility. Thank you for the awesome video!
lol think of all the racing chassis they have to deliver to so many racing teams. They really know what they are doing
3G lateral is insane 🤯
Too bad for the weather for enjoying such a cool car.
Great tour of the facility.
Best of luck to these passionate Italians!
Both Dallara episodes are amazing.
A masterclass piece of machinery that connects you endlessly to the road
Grazie Dallara 👏🇮🇹
Dalara is totally jawdropping, incredible and beautiful ! 😮
I love that highlighter yellow.
This turned out to be farm more of an interesting product than I expected!
What a stunning insight into the secret world of car development and engineering. I can’t even imagine the thrill of driving one of these.
We need a return to simple, light and small, analogue, no digital screen, race cars which don’t take up an entire width of the lane. That lime green seems like a trademark Dallarra finish. Very iconic. But the exposed carbon finishes - like that matt army green - were also mad! Great vid. FYI, an Italian race car driver on YT did an in-depth tour of the entire Dallarra facility beyond the manufacturing of the Stradale, very impressive. They actually make all the Indy car bodies.
Keep it up man.
Love the video and the matching sneakers! lol Love Italian designs, is not about confort, its about driver dynamic and flow.
Nice tour, thanks for this video. Great that the engineers work with the designers. I just bought a racecar and I appreciate smart, efficient design. You have to think it all through. (Like putting an exhaust tip right next to a door)
Been a very overlooked car
thank you Dallara for opening their doors and for the peep inside and thank you for bringing the video to us that was awesome. I can't but feel sorry for you to get the chance to drive this amazing car and get such crummy weather
When Andre said "you go to the beach and eat some nice fish and drink Italian wine, then return to the track to beat everyone...", I just realised that Mr Dallara is the Colin Chapman of Italy. Same philosophy in car design (good aero, superb handling, light weight) and race race race!.
But first, he needs to work on his bench press
Thank you, Larry, for the awesome content.
That’s actually a beautiful car. Timeless look.
Amazing video and insight into Dallara.
Belissimo 🇮🇹
Please Larry, if you ever have the opportunity again, I’d love to see more explorative brand videos like this. The introduction of the vehicle, the in depth look into manufacturing is wonderful
Beautiful car.. great video.
I would love this car with a k24 it will be a killer
Pretty nice cars ! I love those kind of videos... that trip to italy is definitely worth it ! When i see this car my 1st thoughts where "458 italia" front end & "Carrera GT" back end.
This is inspiring!
One of the least talked about and most interesting cars out there if you ask me, thanks for the deep dive!
Awesome.......... Greetings from india🇮🇳🤠🤠🤩🤩🙌🤘🏻.......... Awesome craftsmanship 😊
seems like really fun car
Beautiful design. Hopefully they sell thousands of these
this is a good video really enjoyed the tour and looks like hes the guy from diehard
Gorgeous!
No wonder that these cars are so good. Dallara has racing chassis experience since 1972 and they even had a hand in developing the KTM X-Bow. 😎🤟
Need this in the states!
this is the most beautiful car ive ever seen .
The Ford GT was the most beautiful car to me, but this Dallara Stradale is the only one on the same level.
Sure does make all the right noises and lightness will bring a incomparable driving experience, but for that kind of money I do not know why they do not come with built motor and dry sump
Thats a fair point. Its kind of a little too expensive... the chassis is very advanced but the powertrain is pretty basic.
What a machine...
Imagine this car with the older Ford (Volvo) 5 cilinder from the RS.. 🤤 Exposed carbon in green with a cognac interior on top and you have the car of your life. Or at least mine. Delicious!
Hi from Dublin , really enjoy your content .
this is fascinating to see Dallara from raw tub to full road car , amazing guide and sales man .
Dallara's race history is incredible and it shows in this car ,
thank you for this very interesting story
Love that ideology of go beach lunch ruke the track
This is what I'm talking about🥳😎
If i could drive it legally here in California, I'd be mobbing it thursday through Sunday😎🎉😎
last year I went to the Motor Valley with my mom. It would have been so cool to visit Dallara, but unfortunately we didn't have enough time because it's a fairly long drive from Modena where we stayed. Or it would have been basically a day trip there when we were able to visit Ducati and Lamborghini in one day, Ferrari and Pagani in one day, Enzo Ferrari and Modena roaming in one day plus Monza in Milano where we stayed for another night. Cool trip
Should have just put a k24 Frankenstein turbo build for power and reliability and bmw DCT WITH paddle shifters
🤓
I’d love to work on that assembly line !!
Hello. Very good vidéo. Could you tell me your caméra setup? Canon R3 with Rf 16-35mm and Rf 50mm? IS that? Thanks
Larry did a super marketing job for Dallara LOL...unintentionally.
I have loved this car since i first saw it proposed years ago. I have a deep desire to see someone drop a high revving K24 with K20 head in it
Impressive to say the least! Those cars sound amazing also, 2200lbs car with 400hp would be perfect. And its mid mounted engine so the balance sounds perfect.
I'm interested to drive one ❣️
I love lightweight sportcars 😅
Under 900 kg is awesome 👌🏼
Exceptional video, Larry! Great to hear from the Dallara guys without many interruptions. Very pleasant to watch!
*I was half asleep watching this wondering why that Lancer Stradale looked so strange!* 😂
I didn't know Dave grohl built cars
I’m guessing this is a Ford Focus ST transmission
I think this car is amazing, but I agree with the guy holding the camera, the transmission is most likely a modified Focus RS transmission instead of a mustang.
Spunds like the focus st engine and gearbox
Passion, but stradale ! 💛
wow
Coming from someone who probably will never have the change for a car like that but if i had it, i would buy this before a lambo or else... honestly, the price isnt that bad and it looks amazing!
Not exactly the same usage. People buy this next to their Lambo, probably :D
Damn, why a st motor though?
To own a car built as a personal project of Giampaolo Dallara would be beautiful.
Imagine a LT4 manual engine / transmission in that car . That would be insane
So it’s a Mustang Ecoboost drivetrain?
A foot rest for the brake to modulate it?!? clever!
this looks like an easy car to actually build... except the carbon fiber parts but putting the internals should be pretty simple if the engine and trans is already built.
So when you opening your own car company?🤔😂
@@spaniardsrmoors6817 What are you talking about? This could probably be assembled much like a kit car though an incredibly advanced one. If you have all the components in front of you, assembly would just take more time.
@@MuShinnenYeah so easy...so AGAIN... So when you opening your own car company?🤔😂
@@spaniardsrmoors6817 Just say you don't know how to use tools or follow instructions and call it a day. This lame copypasta statement to basic comments you keep tossing in response to other people serves no actual purpose. Might as well be a bot.
Engineering a car from the ground up is hard. Putting components together isn't. That's why paint and interior take the longest. Assembly is the simple part when you have everything already figured out.
@@MuShinnenDUDE, they're not simply assembling components from other manufacturers did you even watch or f' in understand what's going on?? The vast majority they engineered themselves and "have everything figured out" means knowing how to engineer so all those components will sync and then produce, know how to market, sell, find the qualified employees, etc etc. Have you EVER run a business, undoubtedly NO, or you would know the simplistic stuff you wrote has nothing to do with this.
I want to see this car in Gran Turismo
It may not look great but at least it is light and has a manual transmission. All it needs now is a naturally aspirated V8 and it would be (almost) perfect.
I would swap the engine for a Honda K20 Turbo🤓
I’d do a Porsche NA boxer 6 or a boxer turbo 4. Porsche cayman PDK is 👌🏼lower CG and better oiling system
I retract my comment, the K20 is superior and it would definitely fit, maybe a destroked K24 turbo so you can scream at 9,300
The stock is a weird choice yes
@@RadDadisRad You're not fitting a flat 6 in this kind of chassis.
Nah, as much I love my Honda's. I rather have this motor in there 😎
I mean it's already tuned for racing and street. And the k wouldn't survive with that kind of living, unless you spent about $10k on the motor.
Price ?
Is this a kit-car with a fancy italian name brand?
Wow this is in many ways what I’ve been thinking of as an ideal car. HP/weight, some storage, simplicity. My ideal car would have a stereo though, if just for phone calls. I’d also have enough storage for a couple carry ons so a road trip makes sense. Only thing way out of my plan is the price, although it’s a lot less than I thought it’d be. I’d also give my dream windows that go down.
400 hp Ford drive train, bare interior, very basic car, for $250K, is your dream car? Go buy a factory 5 cobra, throw a coyote in it, for under $100K, now thats getting more realistic
Hell, if you like little foreign cars with 400hp, just go buy a Lotus. They have everything you want for half the price and a freaking warranty 😂😂
@@cliff4695 Lotus Emira is 1200lb too heavy, only has a tiny rear trunk. Factory 5 roadster, no roof so good weather only, and isn't mid-engine, and although I like the look of a Cobra it doesn't look like a modern sports car. My dream car would look something like the 917 Living Legend. And I don't care if it's a reworked Ford engine or whatever, as long as it works well.
Also forgot to mention transverse engine mounting keeps things compact for aero (hiding engine and trans behind the cockpit), inline 4 means only 1 exhaust. This car, but $50K and make it look like a GTP car, I’d buy one tomorrow.
@@spongesurf12 they have roofs for the cobra, even have hard tops. In 20 years this car will be hideous but a cobra is timeless. 1200 kilos is heavy? You want electric windows, a radio, ac and heat, for 1000 kilos? Never going to happen, unless its a full carbon car, no metal, no leather, no stereo, with manual windows. Look at a 410 sprint car, nothing to them, not even a starter or a transmission. Thats 1200 pounds, thats 500 kilos. Most of drive train is titanium, chromoly tubing, aluminum panels. You will never have the car of your of dreams, hate to break it to you
Engineering as art.
🤔Wonder if Jay Leno has ordered one?
Power train is from the Mustang 2.3 ecoboost. My wife has 227,00 miles on hers, original clutch. At 300 hp, it’s a great system. 330 hp from Focus RS and current Mustang.
That’s very good but sort of normal. Nice car and engine . I had the eco boost for a while.
I hate that it’s a ford but wow this thing is spectacular
We have race cars for the road, drag cars for the road, now track cars what next?
How much are they I want one
That’s a good price for what you get I’ll have 2 thank you
dallara or KTM ??
Are those Ferrari headlights?
See the K1 Attack kit car. & the Chevy C8, Slovakoa and the USA, different lights on both.
Ill take 1 😮
1:56 what company did he say?
Autocarrozzeria Imperiale
I would love this car with a A45 AMG engine
This car makes the entire supercar market look flabby and dated. From one of the the designers of the first supercars, the Miura. Lighter than a GMA T50 or T33, way lighter than anything recent from Mclaren Porsche, Lotus or Ferrari.
Thank you Larry for going to the trouble of meeting up so effectively with Dallara.
Any NEW car with a “Carbon Frame” is worth the “entry price”. That’s “state-of-art-technology” that is RARELY used (unless 250K$+). I think the Alpha Romero 8C is the lowest/cheapest car you can get with one used. Must handle like a dream on track. (Reminds me of Lotus Elise/Exige) which is great…..
Imagine one of these with FBO + e85 💀
They said: you know that one car from GTA yeah that one and put a Ford 4 cylinder in it w turbo
Looks like a Noble
I hate that I’ll never be able to drive/own a Dallara Barcheta
That price is not that bad for such an advanced car
Lol advanced you say . Umm the chassis has been used and raced for easily over a decade. And in today's ULTRA EXCLUSIVE UBBER RARE Manufacturing everything is possible. a metal 3D printer can take a raw metal dust and a CAD FILE. AN 72Hrs later bamm prototype parts.
Advanced for a street car for sure
@@DaVe-iSnOtHoMe.MaN.LemmingsWeB So when you opening your own car company?🤔😂
Hu... so it's essentially the ecoboost from the focus RS but with a suoercharger. Ohh he's saying turbocharger but with his heavy italian accent sounds like super lol
4 cylinder mustang…?!🧐
7:57 Cocaine🤔.... YES!!! 😮 😂😂😂☠️👻🙉
But Seriously! Amazing thing he's got going on there. I Need to Test Drive 🚗
Wish they were USA street legal
Ok, sorry but he is worng on the aerodynamics part.
Bottlom is flat and top is curved bc:
There is more surface for the air to go through, slowing down adn creating pressure, a flat bootom air goes fast and reduces the pressure.
That keeps the car grounded, hence why we add wings and such for more air pressure.
Mr. Andrea, you gotta step up your bench press game if you want to wear a shirt like that. 🙈
It's such a shame that it's taking people this long to find out about these cars. Imagine if they actually sounded good.
I just ordered two cars spec'd exactly the same so that he can never say that again.
That car need a built ls with twin turbos....
Too bad it's so expensive...because it's so desirable!
I was super excited about this when I first saw it, but then I heard the price....thanks but no thanks...inline 4 cylinder for a quarter million.....I'll go buy a Honda and slap a body kit on it and save 200k
2200 lbs, manual transmission, it has everything, except a good price.
Its carbon chassis and ans hand built, of course it will cost 250-300k. Not off the shelf ford engine/transmission custom bosch electronics. I'd say its worth it. You will spend way more money customizing a kit car to get here.
$250k for a car with a Ford I4 from a Mustang, sounds like a ripoff to me. Also, how can you advertise this as a track car if you don’t even dry-sump it, it’s like the most important thing for racing! Do they provide on track warranty? the wet sump is gonna suck air and damage bearings for sure.
