The central theme is whether or not to upgrade to the 2024 X5. Yeah, like a person with a 2023 X5 would do that......
As an owner of a X5 of different generations over the past 15 year, I like the 2024 X5 better than the 2020-2023 generation. Personal preference only......

I dont know about the Video. It is a litle bit critical. The new X5 does make around 75 miles in elctric Mode not 39. Thats NOT correct.
Than, the suspension is pumpy because they do not have an air suspension and 22 inches tires. The suspension on the 2018-2023 BMW X5 is I think the same.
Every new X5 ist better than the older G05.
They have more horsepower looks better inner space...
When you want the real leader seat, then configure it. But these is all the same as in the older X5 G05
That is my mind about these.

I have the 23, they gave me a loaner car for 24, it’s not the power or the interface it was more than that, the suspension is better and also the acceleration is slightly faster. I would say yes the difference is there but I got my x5 brand new at 58k because of the release of the 24. The new one would cost me 70k and 12k is the reason why. 12k is a huge difference on your monthly payment. The 24 is not a disappointment.

Hmmm. First X5 was 2019. 2021 & 2025 we built it to our taste. All of them with M sports Package as a start. Without that it looks blaa. Yes the 2025 X5 we just got in early May is loaded. With few exceptions like the self drive, 4 zone climate system and the air suspension. But too quiet for my taste. Faster and crisp for an SUV of this size. The dash board and Cristal joystick gear shift I miss very much from the 2021 model. The face lift is very nice and very pleasing to the eyes. Unmistakenly X5. I guess with time l will get use to this new curved dash board. Tires the STD 20” M & S. It is the wife who drives most and she is happy with it 😀. Well built X5 by our fellow Americans in the South 🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏾.

Great video, thanks. We have a 2016 X3 that we picked up in SC at the factory, financed with a .9% loan, those were the days. It has 155K on it and aside from annoying as hell run flat tires it has been more or less trouble free. I have looked at replacing it but after paying it off in 2021 and I just can't reconcile an upgrade at this point, we were looking at the X5. At this point I am thinking we will run it until the wheels fall off, it is still a great car, and your video provides some good perspective.

My money factory last year for my x3M was .00220 , so that .0018 is good rn, and that lease payment you came up with isn’t bad. Nowadays car notes are higher! You’re going to pay over a 1K for a car note if you’re not putting money down. You are going to pay over 600 a month for like a mainstream decent car today. I am pretty sure you don't know what your taiking about in terms of the third row option for the 2024 x5 as its still available in some markets. plus changes to the x5 always comes with a price you know. the manufactures can't just update a model like a facelift and then keep the same price, and given how substantial the updates is for the 2024 bmw x5 LCI compared to the prefaacelift I think the jump in price is reasonable. also with the gear shifter nowadays people shift gears with paddle shifters and if your car was a manual gear box it would use a gear lever, but since all x5 comes with 8 speed autos theirs no point it keeping the big gear leaver that takes up space.

I traded from a 2013 to the M Sport and I love the display, and the Seats, better hands down. So I don't agree. I have had a 2009, 2013, and now 2024. Interior is amazing, again, not sure I agree with you even with synthetic. But I agree, it should be leather with a 70k tab for it. The gear selector lever, I will give you that one. This is the downer to me. I would have loved to have the shifter like my 2013. I never had the 3rd row so I don't care about that. :) Lastly, I don't really like the engine shut off at every stop. It is light, not greatly noticed but when you take foot off the brake it is noticeable. I don't like and and could love to stop or get rid of it.
