Penn State's had championship caliber defense the past two years but the offense has been lacking.
And will not be much better this year. A little, but not much.
And here we go again. Another off-season filled with Penn St. hype. You media folk never learn. 😂
Penn State can go to CFP just because there are 12 spots available. The real question is If Franklin can win a Bowl and move forward? My answer is no.
I've never seen Penn State fumble talent so hard than what they decided to do with Nick Singelton. Dude is a homerun threat but they diminish his impact by splitting up his carries. I only see this as a way to appease Allen so he wont transfer but it's obvious Nick is the most talented back they have.
Drew Allar went for 25 td and 2 ints but the team finished 10-3 with an offense that I could only compare to watching white paint dry on drywall.
Defense is dominant as usual but PSUs offense is a complete non-factor against any team that holds any merit.
I’ve been alive for 26 years. Never once in my life have a seen Penn St be a true contender for a Natty.
James Franklin certainly isn’t the guy to get them there😂😂
SICK of the Penn St hype.
They will get DESTROYED by Mich and OSU
Be careful if you wanna replace him though. Don't wanna go from 10 wins a season to 6 wins a season.
@@kevinbond8966 what’s the difference really? It’s still a meaningless bowl game.
now with conference realignment it’s
Ohio State
Oregon
Michigan
Penn State
And they would get spanked by Oregon, if they played them.
Greg did you see On3 has listed Bama as the #2 Signing Class for 2024 ?
Dude has no idea what he is talking about. WVU was not a senior latent team. Not even close, in fact one of the youngest teams in the country. They only had 8 seniors on the team last year that actually played. They return 9 starters on offense and 6 on Defense. They did lose a few defensive players to the portal, but gained more than they lost.
Penn state should be able to put up some points on that USC soft defense. But at the same time, Penn State doesn't have much of an offense so that would be a great game to watch.
This show is my new favorite comedy sketch on YT. Remember when this clown said Texas was the most complete team? He has good comedy writers.
Boy you ain’t lying, he just said WVU was a senior latent team in 2023, which is the complete opposite of reality, WVU only had 1 senior starter on offense and had only 4 on defense. Frazier did leave early to the NFL tho.
@@JoKeer80The word you're looking for is "laden," not "latent" -- as in a _senior-laden team_
WVU was one of the youngest teams last year and returns a ton of guys what is he talking about 😂
With michigan falling apart looks like ohio st and oregon still be top 2 at best penn st 3rd.
Lol. Penn State is well behind Oregon on paper. McElroy'must be completely unfamiliar with Oregon's roster.
Yes, PSU would have technically made it this year 2023 footballw ith 2 losses.
LOLOLOL take the next step..Whats wrong with you. They have not taken the next step for over a decade under tier 2 HC franklin..Stop it
As of 2023, Penn St under Franklin thus far..
2-12 on the road vs Top 25 Teams
0-10 on the road vs Top 10 Teams
1-9 vs Ohio State
1-12 vs Top 5 Teams
So, I’m going to say no
They’ll at best lose the first game. Franklin is awful and as long he’s there PSU will never match expectations.
After Joe paw and his assistants I have 0 respect or confidence in that university or anything it stands for
