Holy shit, a practice fight that isn't the blues...
I was going to make that joke lol
Yea I was going to say it already happened once this year for the blues 😂
If it isn't the blues it's the reds
@@cb84capri As a habs fan, The Subban Era was real, Subban vs Gally, Subban Vs Pacioretty, Subban Vs Desharnais and Then Morrow vs Shaw, literally all this was within 10 years ago.
Apparently not everybody loves Raymond.
Who else besides Raymond? And I love it. He has been the only player with any heart over this 6 game skid. I’m loving that he is so fired up right now.
Think it was Chiarot
Raymond and chariot
Hes not the only one with heart, Larkin deserves far more credit, guy takes injury after injury for this team. Kane has heart for a man his age, he could have just sat around done nothing, but hes shown up alot this season, Lyon stepped up after the husso injury, people hate on him but forget hes a backup goalie with way too much pressure put on him, im ok with him being the starter, just give him some time to develop ffs. I think defense has been rough, but its mostly coordination and bad communication, but sieder has pulled his weight no doubt, hes roughing guys up alot, but I think he could be doing more no doubts their. need to see more from debrincat, but hes still a solid forward, doing a great job. they just arent a team yet, thats all, peopel forget the red wings were in rebuild, and last season were doing terribly and many seasons before that, been a long time since anyone has even taken notice of them, so I think they deserve more credit.
You love it that teammates FIGHT in practice? You're out of your f mind.
@@markiv2942 u dont have to tell us that u dont know what it takes to be a winner
Losing to the Sabres has now
1. Gotten McLellan fired and
2. Triggered a civil war in Detroit
There’s zero civil war here. Just frustration within the team which is normal.
Nah that’s civil war
The crumble continues
I like the passion from Raymond. This season his point production has rebounded, his physicality/compete level clearly hit a new notch, and in this losing streak he seems to be the only guy not taking a shift off.
Chiarot on the other hand is out of position all the time, takes dumb penalties, loses his man every other shift, and is wheelin' and dealin' while not having 1/5 the offensive skill of Ghost and Seider.
Listen sure last season couple seasons you can dog chiarot all you want, but statistically he’s our best defensemen, and the defensive stats prove that. There’s a reason most games Lalonde sends him out 1st shift of the game to set the tone.
You can say he hasn’t lived up to his contract price since his arrival and you’d be correct, but to act like he’s been awful this whole season , is completely false.
@@jleif7736 You didn't make a single argument.
You also didn't address anything I said.
He takes bad penalties, loses his man all the time, jumps up in the offence when he isn't skilled enough to do that, gets pulled out of position.
He's a liability
This stuff happens its not an everyday thing but it does happen, especially around playoff season. Emotions get the best of these players at times.
At least they showed some type of fight
Totally agree. Probably helpful. Channel it to next game.
Love the vids Ohnyquist
No biggie me and my friends used to fight all the time,,especially when we played sports together….usually someone gets pissed other people intervene ,, drop a couple F yous and its over…
You weren't in PROFESSIONAL ICE HOCKEY TEAM AT HIGHEST LEVEL.
@@markiv2942whats that supposed to mean. if anything its way more likely to take place in the nhl. the most competetive hockey players in the world. you get heated at practice, make up and get back to buisness. it aint that serious little bro
Keep posting this short form content i think ur at 100k by the summer man keep grinding bro
Agreed with you Nyquist. Conor Garland and Dak Joshua in the training camp was a great example. It really shouldn’t hurt the team dynamics unless one cross checks the other in the face or something. You hear retired players talking about it all the time how they ended up super close to some teammate that they had issues with, or players they “couldn’t stand” in general.
keep up the great content🔥💯
I was waiting for the coach to skate up and be like “ that. More of that in the next game “
when Charoit and Petry are on the ice the other team will score, I wanna take a swing at him too GO RAZOR!!!
Lmao
Happens like once a season to a bad performing team and they seem to always win the next game(s). So good thing for detroit
Reminds me of chariot and wheeler dukin it out when they were in Winnipeg.
I cant remember how many fights i got in or seen between teammates. And i didnt even make it to a high level. We were just playing in front of our parents. It gets intense out there.
Sometimes this is what a team needs. Blues had a practice fight and went on to win the cup the same year. Just guys bein dudes.
hawks had this happen before the cup run in 2010 i think its for the best helps them get it out of the way to build on
i could see that occurring with heavy hitting guys like Fraser, Burish, Bickell, Eager, Byfuglien, Boynton and such mucking it up simply just to keep the mood. Even Jake Dowell at times who was a black ace that obviously wasn't around the other aforementioned players on the main roster much but when he was he'd show off some tenacity
doesn't look like they wanted to hurt each other seems like just tough love and them pushing eachother to do better
Gotta give it to chariot for not beating him up
I love Lucas Raymond this year
this might actually give team little boost. Canucks training camp, joshua and garland got into a altercation and now they one of the best 3rd line 😂
Good point! I forgot about that lol.
Most fight Ive seen out of this team in the past week or so.
It never happened before, but what happens when two teammates fought on the ice during the game?
Great question, funny story in one of my last years playing Hockey this happened. 2 d men on my team literally fought on the ice, the ref kicked them both out of the game and we got a penalty.
Now they're ready to play
This is gonna be the spark
I hope so!
The team is beyond frustrated at the Management doing absolutely NOTHING and in fact subtracted from the team we have now at the trade deadline and it really looks like Yzerman has chosen to give up on this season already.
Not even a LICK of support came in to solve what WAS a problem in progress even before Trade deadline.
People going to start blaming each other for the teams issues.. Like whats happened with Seider already.. and even I blame the goaltending situation is a major cause and the team decided to tire out Lyon instead even further , exasperating the situation and banking Reimer ( who outside that ONE shutout , has never been over .900 this season except at the beginning of the games when its 0-0 scoreless anyways).
I'm frustrated Yzerman is doing this, however It MUST mean he is storing equity for something massive. Or it BETTER mean that.
Otherwise, he just abandoned this season and the team knows it so why bother playing good if the boss is already thinking PAST you?
well at least we're not getting the St. Louis Blues ending
Not a Red wings fan in the slightest and I don’t care whether they make it to the playoffs or not. With that being said I 100% agree with you about this, teams have to solve their issues and somethings this is the only way that they can do it. I’d be curious to see if this changes things at all in detroit. Maybe it’ll have the same effect as the Predators vacation getting cancelled lol
Didn’t Jensen and Bertuzzi also do this a couple year ago?
Yes
The Down Fall 😭
Laughs in Bertuzzi
Do we think the leafs beat the Bruins or Panthers in round 1? Genuine question.
In what universe would the Maple Chokes win? Don't make me laugh. @@DrinkingBird69
@@DrinkingBird69 we’re probably worse than both those teams so ima say we beat both of them
It could be a spark....or........its just another thing to add to the prioroty patch curse. Lol #trashthepatch
I Mean it worked for St Louis in 2019 and they won the cup that year so.......
They are boys. They got heated with each other and after they'll be apologizing to each now if one of them says something out of pocket about the other one to the media then we have an issue
welp that wraps up this season islanders will probably get in unless tampa falls off
maybe wings could sneak in then but we are probably going to lose every match without Larkin
as a wings fan I LOVE IT SHOW SOME FUCKING EMOTION!!! RAYMOND SHOWING SOME GRIT!
Not a biggie
Chariot and Petry need to be broken up, or send packing. Cant keep up to the pace of the league.
Red wings channel 😅
Haha definitely have been posting a good bit of Red Wings content, there hasn’t been much to talk about when it comes to Detroit for most of my time on CZcams. So I like to get videos in on them when I can!
@@OhNyquistdo as many as you can you do a great job
They’re the talking point of the week. Nothing wrong with that
Only in Detroit would this be a good thing. Lol
😂😂
@@OhNyquist love your work and passion👍
When u take Mortiz S over Hughes and u trade away probably your best dman u guys had in Hornek and u guys have Cossa in the farm team let him play next year
#PriorityCurse
🤦♂️🤦♂️we’re not gonna make the playoffs again are we?
🌈Wings
Didn’t you post “Patrick Kane is making the nhl look stupid” or something like that? Oh ya. They’ve dropped basically every game since.
I did, and he is.
@@OhNyquist 1 assist in his last 5.
Sad Wings are JOKE now!
I'm willing to bet Ben was pushing Lucas hard and trying to get something out of him. Seems like sort of thing a veteran member of the leadership group would do. Especially if he was smiling at the end of it.
My only worry is that all of the intensity in the world doesn't mean they'll play better. I'm sure they really wanted to win these last few games. Doesn't matter how motivated you are if you keep making mistakes.
Chariot is so horrible. Guy can hardly skate; complete fraud
Yeah that was a brutal signing by Stevie Y
Raymond obviously doesnt fit well in Detroit, he would look MUCH better in a Habs jersey!!
It’s hilarious people think teammates fighting each other is ever a good sign. And no this definitely doesn’t happen to every team “multiple times a year”
Maybe not guys full on dropping the mits, but I feel stuff like this happens more than people think. Not really a full on fight, more of a scrum.
@@OhNyquist Yah I definitely agree with that for sure. Thought you meant like full on dropping the gloves. Still I don’t think it’s a good sign for team chemistry, but it might help some players blow off steam i guess.
This is what testosterone looks like in a controlled environment and it's hilarious you think this interaction was inherently negative.
Just say "I didn't play hockey and have no idea what I'm talking about"
So you think its all butterflies and rainbows all the time? Teams fight, just like families fight, its normal and they usually become closer because of it.
It would also be a lot worse if they all came out to practice with smiles on their faces, joking around and not giving 2 shits about getting thumped again the other night.
Ngl nyquist love ya and ur content but this one is a little bias. I don’t think anything abt this is healthy or good for the team in anyway. Like with Subban in the past getting traded after his problems with teammates. Also I don’t think this happens to every team at least once a year, I would say maybe every 3-5 if that. But I see what your saying that their showing emotion but in this case being in a losing streak and losing their playoff spot just seems like there is something off in the red wings locker room and this is the worst possible time especially with already buying in early this year.
Rn the wild have been a very healthy group together as far as ik besides Talbot a few years back. This is the worst thing to happen cause even tho we’re good now when we were in the Parise Suter age it was just angry coaches and players not liking each other and pulling stuff like this and it led us to be the most mediocre team of the 2010’s.
You're not practicing hard enough if they players don't occasionally get pissed.
