He's right! I've been meditating for 5 years now and it dramatically transformed my life. I like to wake up early, around 4 a.m. Thanks, Deepak!

I'll dedicate the hour of meditation to sleep. Thanks.

It's a scientific fact now that meditation gives the body and mind a much deeper quality of rest than sleep. Obviously it is also a very different subjective experience, and it is a much different physiological experience as well. This can be seen through EEG measurements of the brain, hormone levels in the blood, and cellular metabolism. Sleep does not give you that.

+deltrontheory ain't saying that meditation can't have benefits. Just pointing out Deepak is a charlatan who uses a lot of nonsense to impress people by using "quantum mechanics" to explain why or how things are happening. So it would be nice to have people talk about these topics who we can take serious. So people can really learn something.

+deltrontheory It does not help anybody to have a person who is more about promoting himself to be the spokesman for a thing that can be very helpful for many. You need to keep things real top be able to find truth. We are therfore not helped by someone telling fairytales.

Deepak makes me feel ashamed of my species.

Why should you feel ashamed of someone who made bold claims about meditation decades ago which later became scientifically verified? Are you brain-dead?

Sebastian Carlo Deepak didn't invent anything on meditation, neither was he the head of any correlated study, buddy. He's just another quack and copy cat that loves your money.

      Bruce Slajvic
Firstly, he never claimed to have invented meditation or anything on it.
Secondly, he does not need to be the head of any study on meditation in order to repeat and point to what other scientific studies have found in relation to it.
Quack? The way you're talking right now makes you sound like a quack yourself.

+deltrontheory please show me the peer reviews published paper that shows that "silence is the source of thought" he said that

+deltrontheory you claimed everything was supported by science. This was incorrect.

      +deltrontheory I didn't dismiss meditation entirely

    • @Clefargle

+deltrontheory if these videos were announcements of new findings published in a peer reviewed journal I would be interested. But the whole channel has devolved into this and other forms of "woo" for months.
