I couldn't believe I clicked on this randomly, stayed the whole way through, and was amazed at the skill and beauty of this transformation. Honestly, this was better than watching any newer tv show. What a great job and that driveway with that color is perfect for my house. Beautiful job!
Thanks for watching

thats the best part of YT, you get to see skilled people doing what they do best if you look for the right channels
Same, absolutely amazing work. Loved the speed of the video and easy to understand narrator. 👍

I love it when the whole show is in one episode .. Thanks

@zitras234 You're point?!?!
"I went ahead and bought a case...." ; "It's not fun stumbling over a steel stake.".... what a beautiful stamped concrete driveway. Loved the video and especially loved the narration. Great job.
Drive way came back to life.that brought the property value up for sure
Yes
I honestly love watching Skilled craftsmen do their job. It's such a satisfying feeling when you see the end result.

That guy has the best looking driveway in the neighborhood. His neighbor going to have to keep up appearances and get you to do a matching one.
I hope so
TY
Haha thought exactly the same and each time he cuts the grass or see's his neighbor wearing an Odell t-shirt
I'm in sports with you want me to continue on my legs
His neighbors: The Bouquets Residence.( spelled Buckets).
@@OdellCompleteConcrete who would you recommend out here in midland Texas?
Loved the concrete pattern.......neighbors would have been jealous after watching completion of work🤫🤪

Hey, little tip for you. With that jackhammer, just hammer in one spot for about 3 seconds, go over 4 inches and repeat. Then go down the line doing that and come back going in between those spots (making it 2 inch spacing when done) and soon it will break in a line. You may have to break that up into section because they will be heavy unless you use your skid steer to lift it. I learned this and it is so much easier and you can even use those concrete sections to build a wall. It is the same principle as scoring glass in a line to break it.
Good idea
TY
Nice!
I like how he puts so much care in the work as if he was doing his own house.
A true professionnal
FYI - you're supposed to do that. And then charge for it. It's called good business practices
Somebody's property value just went WAY up! Beautiful work all yall did 💕👍
Yes! Thank you!
I’m a general contractor and building official, you do great work brother…
Thanks for uploading in 60 FPS. It really made the video more enjoyable.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love watching real pros working and producing awesome results. It's honest work that deserves every ounce of respect.
If nothing else . . . this video really makes you realize how important curb appeal is when prepping a house for sale. Can't get over the extreme difference.
It's true. In the city, you only own 0.1 acres, so the driveway is extremely important. Not so much in rural areas though.
Whoever did my driveway when I built my house put a sealer on it. First winter was unreal.
Keep in mind the driveway was 35 feet wide by 55 feet long and on a bit of a slope toward the road.
I Went to shovel the accumulated snow/ice off from neglecting to clean it...the first push I took with a metal shovel broke nearly the entire driveway free in one sheet. Nothing stuck to it. I was absolutely amazed lol...from there it was just shoveling the chunks onto the grass.
I didn't know sealer aids in the removal of snow. TY for the information!
Oh wow!
I've heard of running heat coils through the concrete to melt the snow before it sticks.
Wow that was so incredible. Just a sunny delight to see these hard working men do great concrete work like this.
TY
The effort that went into the prep work is outstanding! Nice finish too, will last decades.
Prep is key.
TY
Great Job! You can always spot a contractor that puts pride in his work!
TY
I AGREE!! And only the HONEST ones film and upload the entire process ;)
Love watching renovations , cleaning up yards , love this video ...love that technique about those rubber patterns that looks like tiles ...that saves as using the real ones...
Yes it is the way to go.
TY
I realize::: I focus so much while watching your videos: Because there's so much to learn and also so much experience and 'expertise' in what you & the boys are doing. It's really quite valuable to a novice like me who plans on doing some work in the future.
Thanks for your videos... keep em comin.
I understand that, it's alot to take in in one setting.
If your interested and want to succeed, you will.
GL
WOW! What a transformation! Bet it adds $20K to the house value. Great job once more.
Yes it will

@@OdellCompleteConcrete hi david I absolutely love the channel can I ask you a dirty question? How much would I expect do pay for this work to be done? If that's not to cheeky best wishes from the UK
Not really partner? They should put in new grass and some Sprinklers and just a little bit more cosmetics on the house it would immediate pop but Uncle David did a great job on that driveway👍👍👍👍👍👍

@@OdellCompleteConcrete thank you love the honesty and the channel 👍👍👍
Damn that's classy. Don't have to worry about anything growing between the stones and you still get the look.
For sure
TY
That's true
It is so beautiful. As a construction technician with more than 20 years of experience in China, I can independently be responsible for the construction of buildings over 20 floors, but I didn't know that driveway could do so before I saw this video. I learned it, thank you.
Decorative concrete.

The driveway looks nicer than the whole property now. Great job!
TY
Wow what a transformation. I like the dark highlights in the pattern. It looks just like slate rock. Helluva job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
a world class craftsman. amazing work as always
Thanks again!
Some talk a big game, but @Odell let's his work speak for itself.
Getting it on OSS
The only I did not see you drill a hole in adjoining existing concrete to insert the rebar or fiberglass bar to prevent the existing and new concrete from lifting/separating. Great work!!! Doing the job correctly for customers will appreciate it and later will be more customers from recommendations. Cutting corners sooner or later will catch up to the contractor.
gotta say you guys nailed the sound!!! and fantastic improvement ... it's incredible how professional concrete skill adds to the beauty of a house. Stellar work
Thanks so much!
Great, professional job! Really enjoyed watching you and your crew transform this driveway!

From the worst to the nicest curb appeal on the block. You guys are fine artists.
I concur
TY
I’m having my driveway and walkways done as I type : a 3 day process. The driveway was asphalt, walkways were decades old concrete with stones in it (gross). I also have decent soil but the company also added a base layer. He is pouring a 6” concrete layer as I reside in a state with cold winters. Hope it comes out as good as this one. Beautiful work Odell and company.
Sounds good
GL
Gorgeous job guys. You take alot of pride in your work. More contractors should be like you guys.
Wow, thank you!
Great tip about using a base layer(even if the native dirt is good quality) to insure uniform moisture content; thanks! Great design; totally improved the curb-appeal!
Exactly
You get it.

Excellent video. I actually stayed to the end.

really nice video, nice work!!!!!
Love it. True Finishers with a dedication to the game.
Perfection is the goal
Beautiful, professional job. Really emphasizes how much work goes into this.
Yes
I concur
TY
It's professional, but not very good thing to do.
It's just a cement mix, wasn't vibrated enough to remove all air bubbles, not enough heat for mixture to harden and pressure to seal everything well enough.
You can't really pressure wash a driveway like that, you can't expect it to last long in climate that has winter or rain.
But most importantly, you can't easily repair the surface if something needs to be fixed or corrected.
Paving is the only option, last long and it's cheaper as it doesn't require all the equipment that guy use.
@@SpecialProjectYyour screen name says it all
Your video is one of the best ones about installing concrete. How come you did not use chairs for the rebar? I saw someone pulling it up as you pour but then you walk on top of it when you screed the surface. The rebar then pushes down to the bottom, and it does not remain suspended in the middle of the concrete where it should be to provide the desire reinforcement and not at the bottom.
The driveway turned out in a beautiful colord stone path.Good job.
TY
Bravo! So many times, you look at something old and worn out and you just think, "Ah, to hell with it!" But you and your crew have shown that with care and precision, a property can be completely renovated and new life breathed into it. Thanks for the vid and all the hard work, looks amazing! 😍
Yes there is always potentential.

Dang Mr. Odell, you really turned water into wine on this job. Beautiful work
I would never drink concrete flavored wine

TY
Man love watching you guys work!!! Always an amazing job
Glad you enjoy it!
You guys really know what you're doing, awesome job!
TY
Man that brings me back. I did concrete for many years, started as a laborer/ dump truck driver then worked my way up to finisher. I did most of the stamping and Ashlar Slate stamp on gray concrete and slate gray release was kind of our go-to. Your guys have it easy, we didn't use pump trucks, just wheelbarrows or power buggies for the concrete and wheelbarrows for the gravel. I noticed that you guys pour loose. Was that like a 5" slump?. The fiberglass is cool. I've been out of the industry for a while and that is the first time I've seen that. I have had an office job for many years and kind of miss the physical labor.
You need to get out there and get it on.
I'm trying to retire my wheelbarrows
Pls where can I get some of your stamps to buy am I Ghana
Pls where can I get some of your stamps to buy am in Ghana
Guaranteed... trash pick-up day wherever David is working. I really like this pattern. Natural look. Nice having all of those stamps for non-stop work.
Yes and it helps keeps the pattern straight

I could smell the sealer from this video.... Hahaha. Great work!
nice work as usual, just that grass strip between both driveways makes me nuts 🤣 I know it probably the neighbors grass
Yes it is the neighbors.
I thing some nice flowering or colored bushes would be nice in there
Our neighbor and I agreed and we have rocks between our properties and looks a lot nicer.
@@jerbsherb4391
That's a nice look
@@jerbsherb4391 It's nice when you tell your neighbor your plan and how it will affect the look of both properties so you can make a plan together.
What happens with that strip of grass? It got beat up by you guys working (understandably) so is some new sod included in the pricing for your customer to replace it or how does that work?
Great job O'dell!! When I get my house in 3 years; I'm definitely gonna contact you..
Please do!
You can do it my king. Work hard and you got it, we believe in you. 😎

Really good job! Kinda nice to have a single video again, I don't much care for the multipart videos.
The stamped driveway looks really good.
I loved watching that.. So relaxing; your voice is soothing as well. I recommend this for people in pain that need to rest .You do wonderful work .
Great idea
TY
Woooooooow it turned out so good Jesus almighty oh my gosh. Even just wet it looked amazing and you can’t see the control joints
That's the key
Awesome work, that looks fantastic! 👍🏼
I’m such a perfectionist that it is driving me nuts that the new driveway doesn’t match up to the curb cut and apron, but that’s probably city right-of-way and untouchable without a huge hassle.
Curb is up to local council, you can always tackle that in the future, the driveway should be a one time pour
That came out really nice. Good job guys
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful hard working people very skilled and talented people amazing
TY
The guy sitting on the porch looking at his phone and pointing cracks me up.
Awesome
That’s the Avery special
Looks like he did get up for lunch though...
Driveway looks good but it should continue with the same width past the sidewalk all the way to the road, looks a bit off with that patch of grass obstructing part of the entrance on the left side. 24:51 (bottom left screen)
i know nothing about laying creat or paving but i gotta say.. thats a mighty fine driveway
TY
What a beautiful 😍 driveway...Wow what alot of work.
Yes it was.
TY
Hi David I’m just wondering. The sealer already looked thin enough for the pump sprayer. What was the reason for diluting it with acetone ? I know you mentioned the reason in the video but do you think there are any cons to using acetone on concrete and do they overweigh the pros ?
No cons.
It allows me to put multiple coats very quickly.
@@OdellCompleteConcrete great. I’ll try that out next time, thank you my prince!
Very impressive! Great explanation of the process as well.
Also, did you have to get proof of property lines from the owner or county since you are dead up against the neighbors property and also being that the driveway looks a little wider than before? Almost sucks to even have to mow that useless strip of grass. To bad you couldn't just butt up to the neighbors driveway.
On a scale of 1 to 10 these guys are 20 awesome job
ty
You do care a lot about cleaning and perfect shape, I am so impressed... Thank you gays for this video!
TY
just curious - How much does a project like this cost? I have a 4 car driveway and want to put a walkway and replace my wooden deck with concrete.

That’s great I was thinking over 10k. Wow
I
see the neighbor finally got smart and moved his honda
No problem, when your use to working in wall to wall areas.
Nicely done. It's a pleasure to watch a job being done properly & professionally, by people who know what they are doing. The result is excellent.
TY
I am at a loss that this video has any dislikes. Great job.
Unusual right
"Vermeer" on the equipment sounds Dutch to me.. Being Dutch I think that's cool! 😀
Gotta love how people don’t move their cars when they know you’re working..
It never comes to mind unless its your house
I'm a mixer operator and we deal with that all the time. It's a headache to say the least.
i thought the same thing at first but to be fair they were all over their property and even blocking their driveway at a lot of different steps during this month long process so they could have been a lot more of a pain if they wanted to be.
Very nice work and or outcome, I’m an retired concrete mason and or finisher so I greatly appreciate fine workmanship, once again great job 👏 👍guys and keep up the outstanding work 😎
Awesome, thank you!
Looks awesome! I have a flagstone pattern with bamboo color and a black release for my patio.
Great looking driveway. Love your craftsmanship.
