Thank you so much for your multiple videos on the swarm fusion. Was on the fence on what .22 air rifle to order and this video made my decision slot easier. Thanks again.
Love your channel! Because of you picked up a Gamo swarm whisper and absolutely love it!
New here too. Been back in the Airgun hobby about 2 years now after 20 years of not airgunning . my my how things have changed even in the last 5 years. Love springers. Looking for a pcp but taking my time on the that.
Great video. I just ordered my Fusion gen2 today! It will be my first air gun.
I noticed the type of pellets realy make a difference.
Another great video 👍🏻
Great video! I just started following you, great content. I'm a airgunner of about 6 years so I'm not really a noob, but I started out wrong. I started by buying high-end airguns which I feel now that is the wrong move. So I'm starting over so I put up my pcp's and am just shooting my springers now. It's cool watching your videos wanna say thanks for what your doing keep it up!
Thank you, sir! I appreciate it!
My hope is to inspire more folks to get out and have fun without having to spend a lot; I hope these videos help!
Just got back myself after 20 plus years.. I have a lot to learn also. But tons of fun.
Thank you for your classes
Test the HN silver point ( 17,13 gr) with the gamo big power for long range 👍👍
Good result around 80/90 yards..
Thank you for your videos😉
Excellent !
What scope was used on the gamo? By chance the stock scope that comes with the gen2?
Nice video Brother. @The Doller Sportsman question is this which pellets is best for this gun Gammo Swarm Fusion ?
Nice shooting.
Interesting...how long the nitro last in the piston for efective shootings?
Don’t know if I have missed it. What state you guys in?
Thanks for the great video and I love the comparison. Two budget air rifles. Awesome!!! Can you do us huge favor and spend 20 seconds in each video reminding your viewers about which pellets and their weights you are using in the rifle! It would be awesome if you included the pellets you tried to end up with your choice. As you know air rifle can be very pellets fussy. Some rifles prefer a certain weight and some like a particular shape pellet. Since you are the "Dollar Sportsman" I would hope you pellet test the common pellets found at the big box stores. Aka: Crosman Domes and/or hollow points, Gamo Rockets and red fire, Ruger pellets, and Winchester pellets along with the H&N and JSB's ordered from the Airgun specialists. Thanks and keep the videos coming!!!! Sorry comment sat on computer for a few hours forgot to sent. I see below
Gman Neo'd yessir! In my last accuracy video I discussed that but forgot to here; I was using the Crosman hollow points from Walmart 😎. It was unbelievable how well they performed!
@@TheDollarSportsman shoot a heavier grain if going deep (copper dome crossman 10.6G) and comp for drop but at least that way the wind sway won't be as bad carrying those rounds all over the place downrange
Witch pellets did you use??
Is pellet length critical for the Swarm?
Only 2 minutes in.. "This just became a hunting video." Ha! 😆
Hey Dollar Sportsman!!! Great video, as always. By the way, what brand, type of pellet, and grain weight were you using? Also, would you recommend the Fusion for hunting small feral hogs with head shots within 50 yards, or would you stick to the Swarm Magnum? And finally, did you mention anything to Pyramyd Air, Gamo, or Ben about my Hog Hunt to Benefit Vets idea?
Thanks again.
Stay Safe, Be Well, God Bless.
What pellets were you using in the swarm?
The most inexpensive pellets 😆: Crosman hollowpoint 14.3 grain!
What ammo did you use for this review?
Thanks for doing these videos on the Gamo Swarm and Fusion! There a very affordable accurate functional airgun! Where do you recommend buying 10 shot mags? They got rid of the gander outdoors near us, they had a lot of Gamo products unfortunately. Been with you bruder for a while now, lovin’ the channel! Hey, where is your Brewer hat, haha?
Amazon carries them :D; I tried to see if Airgun Depot carries them yet but it doesn’t appear so.

Hi. How're you?
I want to buy an air rifle with a spring mechanism or nitropiston.
From Gamo company models
Which model do you suggest for hunting ??
because they don't say which pellets they use, which ones are suitable for the swarm fusion
Nice vid also from AZ
What range did you have the scope sighted in for? Thanks for the video!
I like to sight in my scopes at 50 yards, but often 30 is more appropriate for my small game ranch hunting
Your enthusiasm makes your videos more enjoyable. You have almost as much fun as Rossi. I enjoy your reviews and I think I'm going to add this one to my collection. What do you think of the CAT trigger?
Thank you, Terry! I haven’t made any modifications to my trigger so I can’t say good or bad to its full potential yet. However the trigger itself works just fine for me, if perhaps a little heavier than I’d prefer :).
@@TheDollarSportsman If I do purchase the rifle I will install a longer screw behind the trigger to reduce the pull force. BTW you shoot CPHP's in this gun, correct? Have you tried others?
Terry Eaton I’m going to try RWS Superdomes soon, as well as H&N hunters. I’ve tried JSB 15.89’s and found them to be pretty bad actually. The crosmans perform pretty well; I’d like to see if I can get even better with those other two.
I just got the Gamo Fusion Magnum 10X Gen 2 .177. Sounds like a 22 cal
great Shooting be nice to see camera on target 👍😁👍
Hi bud, what scope are you using on the swarm fusion and what length is the scope? Cheers
This was an AXEON LPVO 1-6x24 scope :)
I like your channel bud...I dont go the other way... but ya u do have some good burnz... lol
Hey man, great videos - and an AZ local makes them even better. I appreciate them. Just getting started in air rifles and nearly "pulled the trigger" on a swarm maxxim when I found your fusion videos. Sold on the fusion. But, how do you like to cook your dove?
AZ FOR THE WIN!!!
I actually just had a very successful rabbit hunt with the Fusion this afternoon (and got some excellent footage; video will drop in a few days).
If you use my Airgun Depot link I certainly appreciate it! But really I think GAMO made a slam dunk with both of these air rifles (tho I am an engineering nerd which is why I prefer the fusion 😎🤓). As for dove, my favorite is to grill all my wild meats, but I really want to do some jalepeno dove bacon poppers.
@@TheDollarSportsman Been talking with my coworker about those bacon jalapeno dove poppers too... tis the season now that temps are finally breaking. Mouth is watering!
Airgun Depot is running a little on the pricey side though. About $30 more than other sites. However, these are backordered nearly everywhere so... rats!
Thank you for your honest and sensible review👍🏻⚡️🇺🇸⚡️👍🏻✝️✨😍food for kids❤️✌🏻❤️
Hi $ sportsman, in this video with gamo fusion when you move from 30 to 50 yards do you need to zero your scope or you have something like a trajectory compensation instruction tells you how much you need to lift up the gun when you go for further targets? Thanks cause i am considering which gamo shall i purchasei am a beginner
In this video, I hold center to see how much drop there is within 50 yards; beyond that, it’s Kentucky windage 😆. Just trying to guage where to hold based. Now if you upgrade the scope with a reticle containing Mildots or some other system, holdover becomes easier. I just recently made a video showing how to do that:
Easy Hack To Make A Dope Card | Airgun LONG RANGE SHOOTING czcams.com/video/uM2yACaywp4/video.html
@@TheDollarSportsman watched the video it's really awesome!!! bro i can't wait my gamo coming... thanks for you videos!
What pellet was used?
Can you make an indept video on the gamo swarm fox
What caliber was the air rifle? Looks like a .177 but video can make sizing look funny 😅
I'm debating between getting the whisper/fusion or the magnum. Do you think the magnum is worth the additional cost? What would you recommend between the two? Any difference in accuracy? Thanks
I prefer the magnum for the power, however it is more difficult to cock for sure. I would say if you’re good with the cocking force go with the magnum :).
@@TheDollarSportsman Yeah that's what I was thinking. Always like the extra power:) Don't think the cocking force will be an issue. Thanks for the feedback brotha
@@brockunc absolutely sir!!
Ha3 nice I love it
After trying the swarm fusion, which do you think is a better choice, swarm maxim or swarm fusion?
I prefer the Fusion for the upgrades that come with it, but it also costs more. Both are solid choices, so it really just comes down to budget.
The stock on the Fusion is phenomenal, and Gamo’s recent creation of a new magazine that prevents double feeding for the Gen 2 models is outstanding.
At what distance do you recommend sighting in gamo swarm scope ?
Is is a springer or gas piston
What kinda scope??Pellet grain weight?
How much overhold at 50 yds?plus?
The maxxim and Fusion seem to have almost exactly the same stats. Which is better?
Fusion has a better sound suppression system, but they’re both awesome
Do you wash your pellets before you use them?
No, sir :); just straight out of the tin!
I really would love to see some real penetration test as gamo to me are the best break barrels out there,I can’t do much in the uk and as you are the man.please do some form of hunting penetration test 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
artillery hold on the bag or freehand with a air rifle if you intend to group for a hunt or pest patrol
I'm ready to purchase this gun just hesitating on what caliber to get. I think you are shooting .22? Have you shot .177? Curious your thoughts on the difference between the two for accuracy and all around. .177 gives you more velocity but .22 gives you a heavier pellet? Which is better for target and bird feeder squirrels? Thanks!
Personally I play in .22 almost always; the greater velocity of a .177 is helpful but not as important to me as the greater wound channel of say a .22 Hades.
That being said......
Hades pellets also come in a 10 grain .177 :), which I intend to test soon on the difference in wound channels between that and the .22.
In short, I’d go with .22.
Also, just a tip: make sure you put some loctite on the bolts holding the stock to the rifle 😎.
@@TheDollarSportsman Thanks. Why would anyone want a .177? What do you get with greater velocity? Longer distance?
@@SteveK99Sub it’s the best for field target competitions where the targets are tiny, and it’s also just a classic. But frankly, that’s otherwise a good question 😆, because .22 is just way more fun!
The velocity will get a straighter Shot at distance without as much arc, though.
@@TheDollarSportsman I didn't see what ammo you were using in this video. Can you share? Do you stick with one ammo or do you change between hunting and target? Since this was a target video you seemed to do really good at hunting too.. :)
@@SteveK99Sub I chose to include misses on another video hunting rabbits (because it’s important to note in using the air rifle), and I get so much hate from it 😆. At 40+ yards I was dead on, but the arc in flight at lesser yards was making me shoot above my targets.
In this video, they were standard rounds (I believe JSB round point).
Dollar sportsman when you were shooting past 40 yards were you using any holdover or were you aiming dead on?
Will White sighted in at 40, 50 yards didn’t require any holdover. 60 yards saw a 2-3 inch drop, then it only expanded from there (though the groups also widened significantly).
@@TheDollarSportsman cool. What pellets were you using? Type and grain weight.
Believe it or not, they were Crosman hollow point 14.3 gr 😎. In my last Fusion accuracy video, I discovered they worked amazingly well; very surprising but super cool that the cheapest pellets worked so well!
@@TheDollarSportsman ok cool because those are my go to pellets!!
Are those .177 or .22?
Is this the 22 or 177 cal?
.22 cal all the way 😎
Wich is the best scope for this one?
Honestly I really like the BSA scopes for these: they hold up to the recoil extremely well and have the mildots for proper holdovers
Dove is ok eating
But u did not mentioned the caliber size
A Gamo swarm fox review, please ?
I just got the fox how do you like it so far
The swarm fusion would have done even better with a AO scope. You used the factory scope so thats says a lot about it. The next gun I will add to my swarm collection.
Will White we are hoping to do some upcoming videos showing better scopes, but more to come on that 😉 (hint: collaboration is coming!)
@@TheDollarSportsman cool!! Test out the swarm magnum also. I know you did a review on it but didn't have much luck with it because of the scope. But remember when I told you to use that ZR Diana scope mount. Get that and do a review on along side with the Fusion. Should be really good!!!
Question is that the fusion gen 2? Cause it has the iron sights
Jibril Saifulah indeed it is!
@@TheDollarSportsman in comparison to the swarm fox which would you choose to hunt with?
Jibril Saifulah i haven’t had the chance to get any trigger time with the Fox, so I’m not sure. The Fusion certainly has better sound suppression, though, which is a huge advantage with break barrel hunting.
@@TheDollarSportsman that's a plus with suppression and I'm trying get comfortable with the fox but looking for an upgrade also with accuracy and power in a break barrel
Do you think think this could take a hog up close?
Lets buy this guy a microphone?
YES PLEASE: I need a new Shotgun mic; my paypal is www.paypal.com/paypalme/thedollarsportsman 🥳
try h&n terminator for that gun
It would be nice to see gamo break barrel guns hunting hogs, coyote, deer, or other big game.
Its .177 or .22. Becouse both the caliber is used in different circumstances
victor H these are .22 cal
Be sure to check the updated regulations on the colared doves. They have basically made them the same as mourning dove's now with SEASON'S and bag limits.........
John Pike in AZ they’re still free range, but I swear I hardly see them now. I think my friends’ 16-year-old has picked them all off single handedly 😆.
@@TheDollarSportsman I'm in Arizona and when I went to get a link to share I discovered that either they have changed the regulations back or the physical copy of the 2018-19 regulations I have shows a typo. According to the physical book the season dates were the same for all specie's of dove but the bag limits on collared doves was 25 per day with no possession limits. As for finding them, I have 5 nests of them in my yard and the dairies are covered in them around Gila Bend.....if your looking for Eurasian hunts look around your local dairies and feed lots 😀
On the gamo magnum use a heavy pellet. If you use the platinum pellet it goes all over the place no accuracy. Heavy pellets hits bullseye.
what weight pellet

Yep I definitely missed one 😂
No one mentions the Naruto 6:27 lol
😅 oh man, I forgot about that
Sorry dove

I felt sorry for that squirrel even though it was Asian
Show target not yourselves shooting
I don't see how people can shoot living creatures, hang em, up, and smile, saying we'll this is an invasive species, I can see feeding your Family, that's different, to me it's just blind to Beauty God Created for us to enjoy, anyway
really? I'm from New Zealand, 80% of our bird life was endemic to our country. The amount of species that have disappeared or are endangered due to rats, ferrets, weasels, possums not to mention the pressure put on their food sources, and habitat from introduced bird species is horrific. We don't have natural predators that can control them. So yes I'll shoot pests and smile knowing I'm helping more endangered species.
No real targets ??? License plate 😝... ur video was amusing at least😄...But that's all I can say was good about it...
Well it was sure fun for me 😎.
Feels real. Unsponsored, down home. Not everything needs a paper target. Fun to watch!
Whatever you put up IS the target.you can easily see the grouping so does it really need to say Birchwood Casey?
Didn't say what pellets he was using so I gave him a thumbs down
I gave this comment a thumbs down 😎
Talk too much! Wasting time.
