Hi Nathan, in your last example where you compare with competitors on page ranking for a specific keyword in semrush, the third position has much less backlinks/ref. domains and page authority than fifth position. Why it ranks higher? I’m seeing the same with my own analysis..

Hey great work. But i got a simple question at 18.28. On that site list as the 4th result there is a site which only have 4AS and 19 domains and it ranked at 4th results. How is that possible ? can you explain ?
After that last core update end of this May destroyed all my 10 years of well ranking serps. Everything looks to still be in order...Any advice? Business is taking the hit.

thanks for this awesome content. is it more important to have the sidewide navigation on the header or can i link to the category pages with exact match anchor text on the footer? is there any preference for this

Very informative video. I have one question, how come third ranked website in identify the link gap section has very less referring domain and backlinks but still able to hit top 3 for that keyword? What’s the strategy there?
I will say it also a out the quality and richness of the content written.
Most well written content that are Natural language written do find their way to top sites despite lesser ref domain.
1. Write Natural language and write richly for keywords without stuffing.
2. Websites with great DA can rank well with rich quality content and less referring domain.

This is easy, google is logic.
Please teach how to outsource genuine no spam backlink building. No agency as they have a database of domains that is spammed a lot. For in house team, what kind of people should I hire and their job profile. For content its clear that we should have writers, editor, VA, graphics designer what are the roles for link building
Guest posting, citations, sponsored posting... There's a lot of options where you can get high DR dofollow links in your niche. Do a quick research

Hi, awesome video, I ran the ScreamingFrog Report for the Inlinks and noticed that there are lots of inlinks to some of my posts because my theme has a sidebar for the latest posts. Will this be a problem?
Hey Pedro, no it won't be a problem. That gives Google another chance to crawl and index those pages. Assuming the keyword is in the title, you'll get a relevance boost even if you aren't using an exact match anchor text

at minute 18:20 on the last analysis there's propellr ranking on position 4 eventough it has very few backlinks and backlinking domains compared to all others - how do you explain this?
Anomaly or PBNs. Their rankings won't stick

do you have a case study that shows internal links improve google serp results as a stand alone factor?
It's difficult to isolate factors because everything is working together like a chorus. That said, we've done countless isolated tests and it does have an impact (when executed well).
@@nathangotch makes sense. It would be nice to create a stand alone project that is pure internal link structuring to see how much it moves the needle. Eliminate off page link building for this project and just focus on page and internal link structure only.

Domain authority and back link relationship is controversial. I have seen a site with just 4 low level backlinks and it's 70DA
Lol, no. The domain probably has 5k+ referring domains (linking websites), and over 100k+ backlinks. The page itself only has 4 backlinks. Not possible for a website (domain) to have 4 backlinks and DA 70. 4 links, the DA would be around 3-5. Been doing SEO for 8 years.
@@2jzandys444 the domain is not new, but it has only four weak backlinks, so what do u think ?
@@billosaz8069 use a tool like ahrefs or SEM rush to check the referring domains of that domain not the specific internal page.

@@nathangotch there is 0 search volume of our brand name. Also when I search it on Google it showing Twitter Facebook and Instagram link of our site.

Plz guide.
Put the name of your brand as the first keyword in the title page of your homepage and make sure that the name of your brand is not a word that competitors may also want to reference on it.
Then make some external links that point to your home page (from directories or other sites) to increase the authority of your page. After a while it should work but it can sometimes take months before Google lists you on a keyword.

SEOi IS DEAD! THERE .are over 100k domain names Registered each month. Over 100k websites launched. Impossible to get traffic and get on page one of Google LONG TERM when you are competing against sites that have been up for several years. How do I know this?l Because I have been involved with web development since 2010. Paid ads, CZcams videos, and link exchanging is the best way to go.
