- In this tutorial, I teach you how to trim your beard with scissors and clippers. The beard is at 11 months of growth and this is a long and full beard.

Trimming the beard takes a fair amount of practice. But my best advice when trimming your beard at home is to take your time. Never rush a beard trim as it is likely that you will trim far too much beard hair off. And that sucks!
Investing in a good pair of hair or beard scissors is going to give you the tools to get the beard trimmed and looking very good. Make sure the scissors are sharp and capable of cutting beard hair with one snip.
You want to think about the shape you are trying to generate the with the beard trim. That beard needs to look good so try to get the style of the beard right and don't overt rim trying to get the beard style right. - Jak na to + styl
Don't feel bad Daniel. Your beard is incredible and you probably only cut off less then I have been able to grow in almost 2 years. Hope you will continue to keep that beard for many years. I do trim with scissors periodically and have just bought a new trimmer to reduce some of the bulk on the sides. Keep those videos coming.

Great job. I do exactly the same. I just trim about 2 inches below my earlobes. It keeps the full beard look but with a better shape to it 😎👍🏻

Looking at your beard bud and out of everyone's I've seen on CZcams yours is the most similar to mine in every way, the length, the density and general style. Although I've been growing mine for 2 years come November but I've had a couple good professional trims in the past and had a good few inches taken off. I'm now back to a good long length and will just carry on growing. Good beard mate

That’s awesome to hear. It’s always important to get a decent trim on the beard. that’s why I’ll still be maintaining the beard this year but only every 3-5 months.
@@Beardster hey Daniel, thanks for getting back to me. Yeah that's all I do now at a professional level. My last trim at a barbers was last march/april and I had a good amount taken off, too much actually. Now it's back to a decent 8 inches from my bottom lip. Will you be carrying on growing yours out or will you maintain it at a certain length. I plan to just keep growing mine out as long as it will go before it starts to fork. Love watching your vids bro, and just loving this journey of growing out my mane. Take it easy bud .

Beard should fix itself with beard balm no need to trim and make it look weak
Not sure how trimming a beard makes it look “weak”. Everyone has a different preference with their beards - just remember that.
