- It's been a long time coming...
Last February, in a moment of madness, I shaved my beard clean off. After looking in the mirror and seeing the face of an ugly baby staring back at me, I immediately committed to growing it back.
What you see at the start of this video is the product of a year's growth, apart from the occasional taming of flyaway hairs and moustache trims.
And now, it's time to shape this bad boy up. But I'm not brave enough to handle the task myself.

The new mustache is a disgrace. You have such a good beard. Don't touch the beard. Let the mustache cover your lips.
I can’t hack it mate - drives me nuts chewing on my moustache! I tend to find I look and feel tidier with it cut up above my lip line
The barber did a great job by not touching your neckline and great job with trimming the transparency of the lower beard hair chin. This is the technique of Dan C Bearded (transparency trim). This technique of trimming the bottom of the long hairs of the bottom of the chin makes it possible to re-grow even more quickly and bring back the volume, lenght and with much less transparency.
Because neckline beard hair grows slower than top and cheek beard hair.
The neckline is the base of the beard which hides the transparency of the long beard hairs at the bottom of the chin.
Every 2 or 3 months this small trimming of the very bottom of the chin allows for much less transparency. And by doing this 5 times your beard will be a glorious monster at its full potential. And you won't need to cut the transparency anymore.

Looks great. Awesome job 👍🏻I’ve had 4 big trims over the past 5 years and I’ve hated every one. I find when they trim the flyaways it creates more flyaways. I only trim myself now. If you invest in pro barber shop blunting clippers (about£150) it’s easy to do. I only trim the very bottom to try and get a more uniform length. Once everything is long from the centre of my ears down the flyaways aren’t a problem anymore 👍🏻

Man, it honestly grows so fast. When I used to work in the office world, I’d get told off at 2pm for not being clean shaven - even though I’d have shaved at 7am that morning. 🙃
I am going for my first yeard beard right now and am excited about that. I am tired of shaving my beard off. I will never do that again.

You will hate shaving it I shaved mine for jobs that I never had. I have to work in a restaurants so I can go for the Yeard now. I will never shave my beard again. Beards are common for Men helps against the cold weather. So many benefits of a Beard

Don't shave it off I worked in the restaurant business here in the states and the requirements are clean faces. They can keep their garbage jobs I will keep my beard forever.

Hi soldier, keep on growing you have very good genetics. Just do if'you can the beard transparency trim, the method of Dan C Bearded (CZcamsr) which consist to just slightly trim the very bottom of your chin's beard hair every 3 or 4 months. This will brings back volume, it will grow back very very faster than before, and therefore less transparency from the bottom. But most importantly, do not, do not, please, do not trim or shave your neckline, do not touch the chin, just the very bottom of the beard hair chin that you can remove 3 or 4 centimeters every 3 months/4 months.

@@marouanebouziane9883 Anything up to 50-100 hairs daily is normal, depends how thick your beard is. I lose around 20 daily.
