Now you know how much this truck costs me each month... but the real question is how much does this truck make me each month????? Comment below if you want to find out!
Platinum Built Vlogs how much ?
How to buy a business
3k
Unless someone's paying you to rent that specific truck, I'm pretty sure whatever you make from it, you could make the same with a less optioned out truck or an older used truck. A penny saved is a penny earned in my book, but do whatever you want lol.
@@dedalliance1 yes because you should just save every fucking penny in life right? And not enjoy any of it..not buy anything nice you want just let it rot in the bank.
For a $1000 a month, think about how much land you could buy! I bought 11 acres with a fish pond for $48,000, and can charge people to fish and hunt it.
#worthit.... You are right about that but this truck is what i earn a living with
Yeah, but to get 11 acres with a fish pond for that low of a price means you are in NO MAN'S LAND with no high paying tech jobs anywhere near by. How can you get property like that with a 10-15 min commute to work making $50-90k?
Dude, WHY IN THE FUCK would you pay that? Are you out of your mind?! Dude, MOVE OUT OF CALIFORNIA! That is so fucking DUMB to be pissing away that kind of money. There's plenty of other states that you can live in and earn a good living without getting ass-fucked sideways by greedy ass landlords. Everybody needs to boycott the living shit out of California and high cost of living. You cannot remain competitive there since the rest of the country can make shit much cheaper.
Not everyone wants land in the middle of nowhere..theres other things in life to enjoy. Not everyone is the same
@@martonvarga1926 Who said anything about living in the middle of nowhere? I live in a big city with millions of people and the highest rent for a 2 bedroom apt is $2,000/mo at best.
I own a Repo company. Guys like this are my bread and butter.
you are a piece of shit scumbag profiting from the misery of others.
Lol
Yeah he’s a moron with money.
😆
Guys like this? It’s all relative to how much you make. I have a 2019 F-350 Limited that I pay $1100 a month for, I also bring home $8,000 a month so it’s not bad.
Nice video man I just bought a 2018 f350 dually and pay 868 a month, no worries on payments as long as you love your vehicle and your satisfied. Every body thinks differently and everyone has something they spend money on!
the guy works hard for his money , so he should spend it any way he wants ---- but I don't think I would be pounding the crap out of a $80,000+ truck
Thanks for the support, and yeah the wife thinks I'm crazy for doing that, but i love it (until something breaks)
A tad under $90,000 actually, LOL
The Limited thou
Modern Diesel warranty
I smash the dogshit out of mine! super capable 4x4 best truck I ever had
really good video! glad someone shared with us who are looking at newer trucks and trying to see insurance fuel etc
Who cares what he pays a month...he got what he wants...you only live once....work hard, play hard...you have a very nice truck, dude.😁👍👍👍👍
How does the electronic running board with stand up to the winter weather of snow and ice? Would you recommend getting them again if you got another truck? I live in Michigan so we could have 5 months of snow here
Looking forward to your review of the truck. Looking at getting one soon.
I can't wait to get mine. I've been looking at King Ranch F250.
I currently have 2016 F150 lariat.
Keep what you have it’s basically brand new...I’m still driving a 2001
I love your honesty with cost and financing.
Press and hold the Traction Control button and it will give you full control. Works on my 2011 F150
how about maintenance costs? i know about oil changes but lets say sensor fails or injector fails etc. what kinda bux?
Wicked truck bro! My dream truck! My pops is looking at gettin a Platinum F-150 5.0, because he can't park the Super duty at work. (He has to park in an enclosed car park) Apparently they only come with a ten speed, and I have heard mixed options about the it. What do you think bud? I would love to hear your opinion. Thx
Just say how much it costs I’m late going to work
I’m still waiting....I guess everybody’s car helps them make them money they take your butt to work
Cost about 100k my boss has one
with the newer DEF and DPF emissions parts on these trucks, i wanted to get a 2019 ford f250 with the 6.7l power stroke or 2019 ram 2500 with the 6.7l cummins, i don’t know much about diesel, how would these trucks do as a daily driver/short trip truck, (no deletes) no towing or hauling, 6 miles to work and 6 miles back home? a grocery getter. long trip once a year. i just want a big truck with a diesel engine.
Great vid, thanks. Simple, fun and to the point.
Thanks Dj !!
796.00 a month for 60 months for me 2016 f250 platinum she had 4 miles on her the day I picked her up. Insurance 175 a month. I do my own maintenance cause I don’t trust anyone, oil change runs me about 90.00 and I know I’ll take some heat for this but I change my oil every 5000 miles and fuel filters get changed every 10,000.
I love nice things too but damn! I pay about the same for my house payment (2100 sq ft), electric, internet, ect. Drive a nice used truck and throw that money in an IRA or 401K. You could be a millionare by the time you retire. Paying $1500 a month for things that go down in value won't get you there.
Yeah plan for retirement so when you die before hand or get sick and can't enjoy life you'll be able to survive ... or enjoy life have awesome things and keep enough in the bank to never have to stress bills ...
I totally agree man. Im 30 bought my house at 24, nothing crazy just a nicely remodeled 1600 sq ft ranch, and its paid off already. Been driving a well taken care of 2003 f150 for the past 8 years. Not bragging at all, also have a shelby a/c kit car, bike ,sled, quad, boat, and about to buy some property up north. Mind you the only new thing is the kit car since I put it together myself. Guess what paid all my debt off then I had fun,and now I just buy thing out right. Also throw 18% at the 401k. Im just a average paid person that can manage money well. People now need to show other they are making it in life by doing payment on a vehicle that when all said and done will cost around 90k lol
Grey Goose 4x4 so what do you do when you’re 75 and have to keep working
iLikeC00kieDough if I'm alive at 75 and able to work that's a win in my book ! The idea of living and just existing is a terrible way to live, I'm 28 make over 100k a year and I am able to work remotely 1 - 2 days a week so ... I'm not overly worried about it right now ... I'll make you a deal though, when that time comes I'll update you on my status lol
Grey Goose 4x4 more power to ya. I’d be happy to be in your position when I get there.
like ur breakdown i just picked up my 2018 lariat fully loaded, i added over 15k on add ons, numbers seem about right. love the truck i traded inn my 2013 Laramie 3500, i also purchased the gap n extended warranty.
Great call with the Gap insurance, how do you like it compared to your laramie?
Price the gap insurance from your insurance company and you will be in shock at how much you overpaid. Go back to dealer for a refund my friend!
Looked into financing a 2017 F250 6.7 Powerstroke Platinum edition too. Got too overwhelmed by all the figures and stuff thrown at me. APR, down payment amounts, term of the loan, etc. So I paid cash for it! It's my forever truck and I have zero regrets in buying it!
John Izzard yawn
What kind of credit score do you have and purchase price of the truck
my mortgage payment is $722, my taxes are $167, my insurance is $46 to own a 3 bed 2 bath house on a quarter acre :)
Where do you live that is a great value!
Guys what is the best f250 for ex. Zuper duty, lariet, platinum, sport, fx4, 4x4. I want the baddest one with best interior/options. Not a fan of kind ranch interior tnh so probally platinu.
I hear alot about other packages too lile tremor version and everest and black widow etc
Awesome bud. Love the channel
You only live once.. if you can afford one truck like this take it..or wherever the car you one.. nice video and almost spent the same like you by month.. i love my lariat f250
I respect what he wants , doesn't matter what he spends his money the truck is truky beautiful i can see why he chose it .
I feel like hes treating that truck the ways it supposed to be , its a durable truck taking beatings in the elements and road and still can have fun with it , he enjoys it and loves it !
you should have the Locking rear diff if you have the FX4 package, that and you should have snow tires on her if you need to stop in icy conditions.
2018 F250 King ranch or Platinum???
Really appreciate this video man.
hold the traction control button above the stereo for 10 secs, that does the trick for advance track
Dude love the truck i grew up on powerstrokes i own 2006 6.0 best truck ive ever owned but watching your video gotta buy me one of those 6.7 nice truck bro!!
the struggle is real. im glad my company lets me pick whatever truck i want and pays for it.
I hear that man!
Glad to watch a vid from a truck owner in the 'burg. Greentree originally here. Great vid.
Sometimes on the traction control if you just push the button and hold it for like five seconds, then it fully shut everything off
Cash is KING so looking good and feeling good is what he likes, I'm with you "All The Way" brother
I ❤️mine so far, only wish the Satellite Radio deal was in a different place. I like when things look the same on both sides. They should’ve put it in the back middle in front of the 3rd brake light.
Did you opt for gap, xtra warranty??
What's it like having 4wd hi but not 4wd auto in slippery/snowy conditions? I think 4hi limits you to like 55 mph, so can't really be used for highway driving when it's slippery out. So does 2wd suffice with not a lot of weight on the rear end?
Out of all the snow storms this winter i actually never drove in 4wd on the road. Only off road, did i use 4wd. 2wd worked just fine for this winter on road, but keep in mind we only had a few snow storms with maybe a few inches on the roads.
Hey man nice truck dude. I agree with your desision, your money your life. Keep the vids coming.
4/2/18, To each his own but when you get an [$80k] truck it helps to really need a truck. F-250 is a super duty commercial + what equipment you need on it for what you do. I drive a 2015 Taurus LTD/awd; I added a trailer hitch for local cash/carry----cheaper than a truck ($39k).
What’s the cost of running a cherry blacked out 6.0?
Great truck... Wish list!!! The rule of thumb for affording a car payment is 1\2 of your weekly wage net... And spread out between 4-6 years.
great info thanks for sharing!
Awesome Truck! Got this ride in my bucket list
Whate state dies this guy live in? I was thinking he’s from Canada but I know most provinces have front plates.
Whatever makes you happy. Nice truck man!
what do you do for a living
Is the truck strong?
Thanks for the video. Are you going to do anymore mods?
Yeah i have a bunch of great stuff planned, just very busy at the moment with business and family events!
I totally get it man. I always wanted a Toyota Tacoma since I was a kid and in 2016 I bought my dream truck. I got the full load and pay $868 with insurance and fuel a month.2 years to go and I'll be payment free.
That truck is beautiful and in my opinion worth that price.
Sweetest looking vehicle on the road. BTW, yours looks nice and clean as-is. I wouldn't change a thing. It is clean looking just the way it is. Enjoy. You only live once. :)
Just came across your videos new subscriber😎🤟🏻
Same way here, though I gotta say, I’m gonna pay at least 70% cash for anything I own (aside from house, or shop) I’m 18 and looking into getting king ranches, and platinums. Not because I wanna say “hey I have-“ no.. but because I just love the way the 1st and 2nd generation 6.7’s look. Particularly the king ranch and the platinums!😮💨 you only live once, so I won’t kill myself on a loan, but I’ll sure as hell ball hard as hell when I own one.
Beautiful truck my friend! I have a 2017 F350 Platinum. Bought it along with a new Grand Design Fifth Wheel RV. Financed both. A few weeks ago I bought a new Camaro ZL1; financed too. I don't give a fuck what anyone says about how much I spend on my vehicles. I love cars, they give me great joy and I can afford them. Keep on enjoying that truck!!
You speak great words my friend!
You should post the VIN number so people watching can stay away if you go to sell after you beat on it some more.
Do you wish you had the new 10 speed
I have a 18 F250 Platinum and love it! My payment is $1250 per month, it’s totally worth it and I love it. I work my ass off and it helps me with taxes so I can have a nice write off.
That truck is awsome. It doesnt matter what you spent if it makes you happy. Congrats
Excellent video brother!!
Thanks man i appreciate that!
Working at a dealership for a while, here's some insight. This guy is a slightly above average buyer credit wise, a diesel f250 platinum is roughly 72 grand before negotiating, he's loaned out for 84 months, 0 down which means he's taking the full cost. Lets say he paid ~68k for the truck after haggling. He's paying 1,048x84 which equals $89.7k for a truck, which is roughly 8% interest on a loan of this type. Yes it's a lot and he's paying about 20k in interest. He definitely made a mistake in not putting anything down because he's paying interest one every dollar he did not put down, that makes it harder for places to give you loans and often times they increase their rates in order to get more for their return, he even went for the longest time frame which is the same. If the bank is going to lend you that much for that long they will make you pay more than someone who loaned less for less time. Realistically if you want to have positive equity on a vehicle and not become debt filled you want to put money down and create positive equity (worth more than what you owe). He added like 20% cost in interest which means for 17 months he's only paying the interest and not denting the cost of the truck, while it's depreciating at a rapid rate. You want to put down a substantial down payment, lower what you owe, so that you're positive more quickly, and lets say maybe 8 months pay for interest instead and you have 9 months going toward paying off the car which means you're able to sell the car sooner and be in the positive instead of selling the truck, and owing more than it's worth. I've met so many people who have terrible credit because they buy a car, 0 down, never pay more than the minimum, and end up trading it in 5 years down the road and still owe more than the car is worth. They transfer it into the next car and now their payment is automatically more than it has to be. Buying a new car is playing the "how can I lose the least amount of money" game. If a car is worth 68k and you put down 20, you take on short 5% 5 year loans, @$1284 a month, you paid 76k total. Only 8k in interest vs 20 because you paid $250 more a month that you wouldn't paid for anyways, you sell the car for 40-45k with reasonable miles and condition you lost 31k. That's a lot, but a diesel truck is expensive and it's either an investment or a luxury, they last forever, and often times they're business investments and written off. If you can't afford a 6k investment a year whether for a business or for yourself you have no business looking at a f250 platinum, lower your standards. If he is making more than 6k off the content he posts on here with his truck or a business he has it's a positive purchase, otherwise he has to deal with the fact it's a losing asset and he bought it as a luxury and he's paying for it.
it's like getting a subprime mortgage but for a car :)
The interest you're paying on the loan shouldn't matter if you're using the money for something else that earns a higher return. The monthly payment does not matter if I can earn more a month from my money. Why would I dump all that money into a vehicle and have it trapped when I can have liquidity and invest it. Finance a vehicle for $72k for the max term and $0 down. Lets say the rate is 3.5% over the term. If I can invest the $72k that I have in my bank account and earn 10% on my money and service the 3.5% debt service then I net 6.5% on my $72k. That's a simple example. I make far more than 10% on my money so for me it makes absolutely no sense to put money down on a vehicle. That's a foolish thing to do unless you don't invest it, then obviously put your money in the vehicle to reduce your debt.
I built my house 5 years ago and my payment is less than the monthly cost to drive his truck... In 5 years my house has appreciated 37%. If I sold my house today I could go pay cash for 3 2019 F-250 platinums. But then I'd start losing money on all 3 trucks. Buying brand new is a terrible idea unless you have enough money that it doesn't matter if you lose your shorts on the purchase. Buying a depreciating asset on credit (paying interest)... You lose twice!
Huge fan of you and your channel. I like the way you explain things. How come you didn't get an F350 and a long bed? Especially since you use your truck for towing and hauling. My truck is a 2015 F350 platinum. Love these rigs. Ill never have anything else, Ford did it right.
Thank You 😊 For Tell Me About Owning a FORD-250 Pickup Truck and I Think 🤔 You Have a Really NICE 👍 Truck 🛩😎🚁
Gotta pay to play lol 😂👌🏻 sick truck, if you like it and enjoy it go for it! Life is way to short to wait!! And great videos by the way! I love my f250 king ranch
2017 F150 Roush 5.0L Supercharged here. $1230.22 a month for 36 months ... rest of it was healty down payment. Everyone has his/hers cup of tea but for me taking a car for 84 payments just doesnt work. By the time you are done paying for the car it will be almost time for new one and Payment Cycle doesn't stop.
Not true. That truck can E-A-S-I-L-Y go 1,000,000+ miles if you start Amsoil in it from your very first oil change. There's no reason to get rid of it after it's paid off. If it looks good now, it will look good in 84 months. Some trucks were ugly the day they were driven off the lot. And they were ugly after they were paid in full.
Of course, not with the oil you're going to put in it, it won't be. With Amsoil it will be. Diesels rock.
my fathers truck has lasted since 95' and still runs strong with only normal maintenance. its been paid off for about 17 years id say. so basically its been making him money for 17 years.
But once I hear how many oil changes were done, it's no longer impressive. A fortune was paid in oil changes... A LOT OF THEM. I can do the same thing with a brand new 1995 truck using Amsoil and do a FRACTION of the oil changes, plus look at hundreds or thousands of gallons of fuel I would have saved in that same time. Cheap oil not only robs you of excessive oil changes, but also fuel. I saved $600 in fuel in one year alone after switching to Amsoil. (I drove a shitload that year.) Multiple that x 30 years. Now THAT'S IMPRESSIVE.
@@CarMaintenanceGuy lol, You're not going to get 1 million miles on an F250. The thing will rust out before then, you'll go through 3+ transmissions, you'll replace 4 sets of injectors lol. I mean you can make it run for a million miles but you'd have basically rebuilt the truck several times at that point, plus you'll have 30+ year old technology in it lol.
Nice truck. If I was in a position to buy a truck like that I certainly would.
Modern Diesel Corey I like your honesty. You keep it real. Let the haters hate. I'm looking at a 19 King Ranch. Talk about numbers at the dealer 0 down 1050x75 trade in a 17 1500 longhorn. 79997k MSRP. Just waiting on them to dropped the price more. I'm tough negotiator lol
Dang man. If we round up to $1500 a month that's $126,000 to own that for the 84 month loan period... 0.O
Thats a lot of money over time, she will be payed off long before the 84th month lol
Platinum Built Vlogs yeah just pay down the principle when you got extra money laying around and you should be good.
My father has a 1992 f-150 that I will be using for when I get to drive. Got plans for it. 6bt cummins is just one mod plan for it. :)
Hell yeah man you should do a youtube series on the 6BT conversion! That would be great
Currently I am 14 and the truck is in a shed at a farm. My dad used to own it but needed to sell it and left the truck. When I get my drivers license I will haul the truck back and repair it. I will probably make videos for it for when I repair it, start it, and mod it. Should be fun.
GOTTA PAY TO PLAY
It's in all what you want. Congrats!!!
Hell yeah, thanks for the support
Nice dude, I hope to one day make enough money to able to afford a F150 King Ranch.
Looks like He did listen to Dave Ramsey !!!
Lol and did everything differently 😂
I have the same truck. I have no issues making this type of payment, the truck is awesome.
I hear that!!! I love it everyday. Thanks for the support

In austria you pay 120€ that's around 140 $ a month for insurance.
DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE! Thank you. You are killing it
Super cool vid
Awesome video
It’s a sweet truck!
Bought my Lariat Ultimate new..in May 2017. Truck listed for $69086.. Payed $58000 and some change... Threw in extended warranty negotiated to $2000 for 6 years 100k miles. Making it even $60000. Put down $11000... Payments $726 for 84 months... I now owe $43000 but the truck still books for $53-56000. As long as I can get the money I put down on it... I feel like I didn't get to bad of a deal.
I appreciate your video bruh. I need a truck for my business, and I'm just shocked at the sticker prices. I was considering the new Ram 1500, but I saw it was 50k-60k. So that's what led me to your video because if I'm going to spend that much a diesel is a much better buy. What's your opinion?
At the end of the day that decision is one you have to make for your self, but asking me if thats your budget, i say for sure go for the diesel especially if you are going to use it commercially.
Puts zero down, 1400 a month for the next 7 fucking years. Zero equity in it. Excellent way to be totally upside down on the truck immediately. Good job bro, solid financial advice
This video wasn't about me giving advice, but thanks for your support
People are just never satisfied. Life's awesome man, just keep on doing awesome videos!
Platinum Built Vlogs awesome truck man. Definitely my dream truck along side a new peterbilt..lol. The money for these has definitely gotten out of control, but if I had the money I'd be rolling in one. I'm in 2008 loaded crewcab lariat with a 6.4. You gonna lift it? The hei6is awesome om those, leveling kit and 37's fit. Just came across ur channel today. Keep up the great vids.👍👍
You don't buy a truck worrying about what it's worth. You should worry about paying it off and keeping that thing for 15-20 years. Look how other people who bought their diesel trucks in the 90's and still have them. He should be good with that truck until 2048.
Chris Sullivan Didn’t hear him say this was a financial advice video? Wow
Enjoy your truck man, Fk what everybody says. 👌👍
Nice truck!😎
man 117/mo for insurance must be nice, here in Canada, particularly in a big city (like where i live in Toronto) you'd never get that kind of rate.
I would say your true cost is about $600 a month. Which works out to $20 per day.
Fuel cost and insurance will be there even on a used vehicle. if you want a new reliable vehicle to get around town haul a decent payload the cheapest would be a Nissan Frontier or Tacoma but you're still going to pay around 475 a month with zero down.
so basically for an extra $20 a day you're getting a truck that you really want. In my opinion it's worth it
Can you re-make video but show the donuts being done in somebody's front lawn or on a golf course? We would all love to see that.
Damn glad you took it in the rear for that price! I like to think a little SMARTER and let people like you take the hard hit from the showroom floor! I'm the type who swoops in and buys the same thing with possibly 10k to 20k miles and payments for HALF OR LESS
vet motocrosser Yep! 👍 although it’s gonna have 20K miles of his farts 💨 in the seat...good thing it’s leather 😂
Not in this market you don't, and maybe never again.
Dude that was 3 damn years ago and now just now you post about the comment 😒
I got here as quick as I could!
Man it’s always wise to put the money down on a truck because in 3 years you’ll be upside down about 20,000. They say you should put down at least 20 percent but when I bought one of these I put 50 percent down and then financed the rest for 6 years and my payment is 300 bucks a month and I’ll never be upside down.
Nice truck bro
1:30 I wish the camera guy was outside recording
Insurance in edmonton for that truck would be $400/monthly
0 down ... dude !!! I bought my 17 MegaCab Cummins LongHorn and put 20k down ... but I do agree trucks like that are totally worth it
Other costs like Def fluid and Fuel Filters add about 50 bucks a month pending how much you drive
I forgot to add the DEF and maintenance costs, thanks for the input
Wow. That’s a whole lot of cash. I own a 2018 and I love it. I want to put 35’s on it but I’m stuck on what kind of leveling kit to put on it. Any suggestions?
Juan carlos Lopez ready lift makes a good reasonable level kit but for a couple hundred more you can do a 3.5” lift and run 37s that’s what I did. also if ford blames anything on it being lifted and won’t fix it under warranty ready lift will pay for the repairs
Agreed with jay above, I suggest doing the full coil spring leveling kit instead of a coil spring spacer. They will ride a little nicer and its always better to avoid a spacer when you can.
Reason I can’t go with a full lift is because I will be towing a fifth wheel. Anyway I’ve decided I will go with the ready lift 2.5” coil spring leveling kit with bilstein shocks. Thought?
Look up wicked customs they have a 3.5" leveling kit and they look bad ass
@@Renotactics Why would you get a leveling kit if you're gonna actually tow with it? They have a stanced rear end for a reason, that's so when your tongue weight drops the rear end down you aren't looking at the sky.
Is your truck deleted yet? If not when do plan on doing it? Would you make videos on it? Love the vids btw, good content and informative
Nope bone stock as of right now, but absolutely i have the delete video planned. Ill go through all the parts i selected and possibly some install tricks but thats a grey area to show legally lol stay tuned!
Platinum Built Vlogs haha I hear you on that, looking forward to it
Damn! I love the truck but pay $1350 a month for a 4000 sq ft. Home with a inground pool and a 1.5 acre lot! My home will increase in value! A vehicle wont
Matt Wright where?
look at your amortization sheet for your mortgage. , You will quickly change your mind on you actually "make money" on a house.
I do see your point tho.
Dam that's, nice
