If I had a 6.7 (got a 6.2) I would get this kit, looks well thought out and user friendly on the install.
Waiting on SPE to start shipping these out, ordered one a month ago. BTW your run down using the actual pump in hand was the best on the nets and cleared up a lot of questions I had regarding the way the pump is fed. I was confused on how it separated the crank from the heads, but have a very clear understanding of it now. 2 thumbs up, while I still have them.

Did for me too, I have installed a handful of a different brands kits...and I would always scratch my head on how the fuck it was redirecting metal from the system. The kits we use, you have to cut the fuel line and use a compression fitting to attach to it.

About an hour after watching this, I watched the episode on TruckU where they halfass explained what the "Disaster whatever kits" as they said, do and how they installed it. S&S Diesel's kit includes a big filter for the return. It uses a Donaldson filter, which are readily available, and filters far better than a screen. All the fuel line connections on their kits if using all the Ford OE style click-fit fittings.

My 2012 f350 is still going strong at 135,000 miles. All stock on 35 in tires. Even my Ford buddies think it's lifted with all these aftermarket parts and in reality I haven't added anything lmao pulls better than any of my buddies vehicles by a longshot.
Eagerly awaiting the follow-up for the install ... hope the other distractions are resolved, wishing the best.

My 2017 now has 39k miles. Was in the shop with engine and transmission pulled out to replace the rear main seal. Starting severely leaking at 36k miles.
i just got a diesel truck and i can i love it its not that bad and i was kinda dissing trucks for a while thinking they wouldnt be good but they changed my mind

What bad oring is he referring to? Seems like you dont need the MPROB with this kit. It gets fuel right from the filter.

I wish buddy. It takes at least a hour just to get to the top of the cp4 and I have done 4 times installing exenrgey mprop valves. Also reinstalling the upper intake manifold is a bit#h

My 6.0L has over 340k and love it! EPA is the enemy of diesel trucks. Do the deletes and make any of them offroad trucks and you will have a much improved experience. I also love my 6.7L, my 2020 is a much improved over my 2016. Just gave my son the 6.0L.
I can't wait to hit 36k. I'll be on SPE's Fanboy list! Installed their high flow low temp thermostat, very happy!

Love the video Just had to replace all fuel parts because CP4 ate shit. Looking into getting this product today. My question is what tuner do you run and what MODs. do you have. I have a stock 2011 F350 SRW that has a lot more power that's being held back. Don't want to do anything stupid to old for that. I want something for fuel mileage and towing. Any help is appreciated.

I was wondering when and if there will be a stage 2 upgrade kit for the 2020 model f250.
If your fuel pump fails, won't pressure in the fuel rail return line also drop? And if it drops, is it possible for return fuel from the cp4 to migrate into the fuel rail by short circuiting the t and new inline filter? The micron filter will create backpressure, so there needs to be assurance that the fuel rail return pressure will remain higher than the filter back pressure in a failure scenario.

Just had the CP4 failure on my 2016 6.7 Powerstroke. $8000. Forgot to have them “bulletproof” it. Must do this ASAP!
I am new to the 6.7, I just deleted my truck @ 99,000 miles. I'm looking to do as much to my 2016 F-350 as I can to improve the longevity of it. I don't know much about the CP4 and had no idea that it was a problem. Does the 2016 have the CP4?
Does running Lucas fuel treatment help at all to prevent bad fuel contamination or poor cp4 lubrication

Best kit I had seen was the fuel reroute kit that re-routes your fuel back through an additional filter before it goes to the fuel rails.

What about the plastic clips on the rocker arms? I didn’t see them but we had a guy at my work break them in the work truck. I haven’t had any issues with my personal 6.7 so I don’t know.
I want to DIY the disaster prevention kit but a little timid for the where the supplied o-rings go on the part that attahes to the Cp4. When removing the EGR and plenum will any coolant leak?
Are those injectors leak oil cuz I have a 2017 f350 and I see like a little oil leak on the passenger side injectors it seems it comes from the injectors but those days was very cold I don’t know maybe its a gasket but I don’t know whats your opinion help me I don’t wanna take it to the dealer cuz I deleted the truck and only has 70k miles. What u think should I put back the original exhaust????? Help you smart boy

I think they just didn’t know the longevity problem, also people tuning them and all the new emissions. It definitely cost them a lot of money and that’s why they cut ties with International

Thanks for sharing. I would agree, this is a simple insurance policy. I own a near end of production 2011 6.7. If I am correct, this kit fits on all 6.7's (Want to make sure.)
While looking at some of the other kits listed, the tuner caught my eye. But it does not work o a 2011. Can you recommend one for my '11 F350?

This is awesome!! My only issue is I found this a week too late! I have/had a 2012 F350 with 228,000 miles on it. was running great, interior an body were solid. The fuel filter cracked and sprayed fuel all over the engine compartment. Easy fix, replace the filter right......wrong! Not enough fuel was feeding the pump causing catastrophic failure. Long story short Ford is asking $11,000 another shop will do it for $9,900 (including a disaster kit). A $20 fuel filter turns out is going to cost me $11,020.....unbelievable.
My failure on 2011 F350 was two summers ago. $7200. Plus I had to wait a couple months for the parts which were on backorder. Apparently this is a common and profitable repair.

Will the fuel screen on the mini keg cause any issue from flow restriction? How often should that screen be checked and/or replaced? If the screen starts to plug off, what issues could arise?
Its a return, so no, there would be no issue with fuel restriction.

@@nfox0607 that is not true. A restriction in the return can cause cavitation issues
If the filter screen in the mini keg is obstructed, that means your fuel pump has shit the bed. You'll know it when the truck runs like garbage, check engine lights, etc. You'll have to replace the CP4 pump, but at least you won't need a new engine and/or entire fuel system/injectors/etc.
Sounds like a great kit. I live in the Dallas area so do you know a shop to do instillation. Great video.
according to the website it fits to the 2021 model.. its 50 state compliant so it should not affect warranty if needed. If I had a newish truck it would be added just as a protection measure that you hope is NEVER needed.. aka.. cheap insurance.

24x14 on 35s. Stock lift he put bumper spacers so he doesn’t rub. Check his channel out he made various videos about the wheels
With just a deleted truck, 19f350, so you need to worry about the pump taking a shit?

Hi Corey, this is Wilfredo, I have a 2013 F-450 since new last week i had tow to the dealer, engine stall on me, fuel problem, it turned out to be, the fuel pump broke in pc, inside, the mechanic did a fuel test and there are metals in the fuel, i pretty sure it went into the injectors, i had purchased the warranty, its cover, but I want to make sure they don't cut corners, I want to ask to replace the entire system, I am meeting with the ford mechanic tomorrow, i know they have a limitation when it comes to warranties, I get it, but there is plenty of evidence metal shaving the cause other damage. etc what is your thoughts?

Not regular plumbing tape. Need whatever you decide to be rated for hydrocarbon service. Teflon tape leaks when used on diesel.
I’m looking for a good reliable truck that’ll last me a long time, is a later 6.7 a good option? I’m stuck between a Toyota Tundra and a newer 6.7. Any opinions?

Finally got a ‘15 king ranch for pulling( definitely a non regrettable upgrade), so been doing some research on the 2gen 6.7 which seems to be the pick, unless they got that 10 speed figured out now. Has your return filter started leaking yet ? Mine started leaking after 8 months for no apparent reason, and SPE wanted to charge me to replace the O-rings. So I took it off and replaced it with S&S. I'm not happy with customer service from SPE, or the Fit and finish of the "intake piping kit". Looking elsewhere for future upgrades !
