I keep the salted butter in the fridge (eatin' butter) and the unsalted butter in the freezer (baking butter). Makes it so much easier to grate for biscuits. Thanks for all you do, Ken! Love your channel.

Self-rising flour has been so nice because I always forget the ratio and it’s not that hard to just have an extra bag. I used to think I didn’t need it until your video got me into cobbler-making.
That's great to hear! 🙂
I will definitely make these. You taught me how to make biscuits for two and it has been great! Thanks for your videos.

OMG....yes! I am really going to try these. Question for you, Ken. I have POWERED buttermilk. Can I use that adding water of course. I love watching you cook.
Powdered buttermilk should work, but I have not tried it myself.
Now I am hungry!
✅🙂
I bet you could make them taste better from your hammock in your boyscout cook kit oven you always use. 😀👍✝️

Do you think they would cook well in the Dash Mini Pie Maker?
Have a look here: czcams.com/video/-JbtZ6YkidQ/video.html
Finely mince some Jalapeño and add to the same dough mixture. Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuits.
Sounds good. 🙂
I get a craving for biscuits every now and again. Haven't tried stove top for them though do make a great Turkish flatbread on stove top Do enjoy.
I have a flatbread video too. Good stuff. czcams.com/video/gXsDI84L_74/video.html
Those would go well with sausage gravy I wish you included temp. & cooking times along with the ingredients list
I explained the heat settings in the video. Stove top cooking is not like baking in an oven with exact tempreature settings and times. Give it a try and you'll get the hang of it.
@@KenClick I'LL try thanks
Wow now I have to make them. I bet their better than Red Lobsters.
They are good!
New subscribers you have links tiny coffee cups😊
Welcome!! Sorry, the cups are from my granddaughters' play tea set. No link.
I never have self-rising flour. What should I add to my all purpose flour to make these?
To make these, add 1 teaspoon baking powder and 1/8 teaspoon salt to your 2/3 cup of all purpose flour.
