- Welcome to my kitchen, where today, we're whipping up a hearty Pasta Casserole that's sure to satisfy any craving. We'll start by boiling up some pasta, adding a teaspoon of salt to the water for flavor. Once cooked, we'll layer it with a savory mix of minced meat seasoned to perfection. A creamy egg mixture adds richness, topped with a generous sprinkle of cheese for that irresistible golden finish. While our casserole bakes, we'll prep a fresh salad with cherry tomatoes, red onions, avocado, and mozzarella cheese, dressed in a zesty olive oil and lemon juice vinaigrette. Our casserole is ready! Let's dish it up and dig in for a delicious meal. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more tasty recipes. Happy cooking!

Putting oil in your pasta water, is a "no no" ! it may help your pasta to keep from sticking, but it will also keep anything from absorbing into the pasta. You don't need oil. Frequent stirring will keep your pasta from sticking ! Forgo the oil. Your pasta dish will turn out much better without it ! You want your pasta to absorb all the goodness from the sauce you have made.
Tout à fait, en ce qui concerne l'huile d'olive. Mais le pire, c'est la mayonnaise industrielle, rajoutée à l'appareil 😂
Correct,i made the same point that it's a No,No!
And someone responded with ' She's not an Italian' WTF!! Stupidity is worn like a badge of honour these days!
I concur!
I love the part where you stir to evenly distribute the oil. In the water.
Thank you for the tip.
Does anyone realize how healthy and simple this food is.
My mother never used cooking oil, only olive oil.
she also didn't use mayonnaise, only sour cream or mustard for flavor.and yes,butter...never margarine.
We were very lucky to grow up so healthy.
What did she use in place?
Thanks for sharing this recipe! Don't mind the critics, if people don't like using a specific ingredient they can omit it. It's your recipe and you should continue making it your way! I wish more parents would have taught their children "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." lol
Thanks for your support ! 🫶
I really like how you cut up the avocado! Much easier than trying to spoon it out in one piece, then cut it! Thank you!

So nice to hear verbal instructions, makes it easier for me to follow.
Sometimes written ingredients are up on the screen so briefly or difficult to read but I can always pick a voice giving the ingredients and process to follow.

Both casserole & salad look scrumptious! Thanks for posting, and especially giving Tablespoons, teaspoons, cups etc. measurements. Its always difficult for me to figure out quantities if the measurements are metric. Also, my eyes don't work like they used to, (i turned 75 this year) so i appreciate that you speak the ingredients. 😂
I'm in Washington State, in the very "top" Northwest corner of the USA. I live almost in Canada. Its a 30 to 45 minute drive north.

Hello from Ontario Canada, just made this for supper it was delicious. Thank you for sharing
Yum! I like this just as it is without tomato sauce 😊. From Ohio, USA.
I think it needs cheese in the layers, such as ricotta, like a lasagna would have. And, yes, it needs some tomato sauce or something! And i just ate a salad kind of like that this evening!!!
not everything needs tomatoes
Some people believe if it's not drowning in some kind of fattening/sweetened sauce it's considered "dry" lol! The cheese alone will let out enough oil to not make it dry
@@queenslanddiva Yes, everything needs tomatoes!
Yummm, especially the salad!
Love that tiny cheese grater!
