Spyderco is known for their consistent heat treats, and we've already tested the k390 in the police 4 ...it came in with great results but is the lil temperance even better?
Just keep in mind that not every exact model will be the same. My rat may be harder or softer than others. Always allow for tolerances. I hate hearing people losing their faith in their knives because I may have a bad sample
Just stumbled across the channel, instantly subscribed and am on a HRC binge! That said the lil temperance is actually super easy and simple to disassemble compared to a lot of other Spyderco’s, just thought I’d mention it. Oh and if you feel like waiting, the price has dropped down pretty significantly during the MAP sales that Spyderco’s been authorizing from time to time. Anyways love what you guys are doing!
Proud to have you aboard. Thanks for the info. Honestly man , I'm a truck driver, I'm gone most of the week and I have like 40 loaned in knives at this point. If I had to take em all apart and put them back together ...it'd be a full time job that doesn't pay anything 🤣🤣...it would be fun if I could sit here playing with knives everyday though. I'm glad to hear this model is easy to take apart. I took my pm2 apart and I still haven't figured out what's going on with it. I've taken it apart and put it back together a couple times. Just seems really gritty now. No big deal for the time being but ...if I don't have time to fugure out my knives...I'd feel like a 🫏 if I sent a buddy his knives back ...not performing correctly. 😎💪🤘
hopefully some shop or retailer will buy the rights to this steel for sprint runs/exclusives moving forward; it'd be cool to see k390 on some of the Golden Colorado models
It seems in golden their going with 10v ...likely because of shipping. Pretty much the same steel properties and that steel is already here in abundance. They're not identical but the blades could be mislabeled and the end user may never know the difference. Close enough to be considered "interchangeable". Now I gotta get my hands on some spyderco golden 10v to see how they're doing it in the states. I just tested two Goldem heat treated rex45 knives. One pm2 copper and one manix lw ...I'm very impressed with both. They'll hit youtube this weekend 😎🤘
Wow 65hrc. Amazing. It costs 270 euros in Europe, unbelievable. More expansive than the magnacut pm2 or manix2 salt. I don’t understand the price but love the looks and steel
All Spydercos seem to be ridiculously expensive in europe. Every time I see one that I like I am immediately turned away by the price, not paying 380 for a basic Shaman for example when I can get a Sebenza for 200 more, or something like a Kizer Militaw or Varatas for 200+ less.
@@royal1956 same here. Love Spyderco knives for their production quality but the prices are insane in Europe. I mean the lil temperance frn with smal k390 voor 280 is insane. Als it’s the same price as the shaman here??? I don’t get it.
Damn I’m so glad you started this HRC series! I love it! You can not go wrong with data…it eliminates any questioning!

Very underrated knife the Lil temprance. And that k390 steel 🥰
Absolutely great knife
I have yet to get any k390...awesome series.
Great numbers! Thanks again for doing that guys. Greetings from Europe
Yes sir, thanks for watching and supporting
Hell, I kinda like that one. I've tried Spyderco knives & just didn't mesh with me. Thanks for sharing!! 😺⚔️👍🏻

Lil temperance looks like a perfect size
Great for utility
Nice!
This is a winner bro! If you trade it lemme know

K390 is a muchhhhh superior steel to magnacut or lc200n in terms of edge retention. It's not stainless. It's a big boy steel. 😎

Only in edge retention.
@@patricksmatrick6193 what are you referring to bro?
Let's see what happens 😊
😎
I love my Lil Temprance in K390. I do wish I could find someone to make some scales
Have you checked flytamium or any of the other aftermarket companies ?
