This mix tape has an unknown DJ from the very early 90s, could well be 1992/1993, there is quite a few tunes I do not know the name of, would love anyone to ID them please, don't worry about any odious ones ;).

I remember when my brother asked to borrow one of my t shirts and he got paint all over it wearing it to work...he had a tape sitting on the stairs and I pulled it out and wrapped it round the cassette... pay back time 😅

Can't thanks everyone enough for helping find some of the missing tracks on this awesome mix tape from back in the day, fingers crossed we manage to find out the other obscure Tunes, only the actual DJ will know all of the final track listing i would image or an ultra hyper proper old skoool mega Hardcore massive raver looney junglistic badman 😁
My plan was to own all of them tunes on vinyl one day then try recreate the mixing scratching and cutting, i do own quite a few on the amazing track listing we have all been blessed with , abousloute murder trying to track down all these tunes, a hole bag of my oldskool got stolen from a gig i stupidly left them at 😭

I used to have this tape many many years ago im 49 now and it brings back so many memories of my mates and me getting stoned in my bedroom with flyers all over my wall and nicking my late dads benson and hedges 😂😂😂 ... happy happy days...

I would bet my house on it being DJ Sy, definitely sounds like his scratching and these were the tunes he was playing late 92 early 93

i still have one left from my collection of 30 tapes ive lost to time..its from DJ X that use to do breakbeat sets on a radio station on 96x WNOR out of virginia...during the mid 90s,,, i cant find any records of him so that one tape is all i have left to prove it really happened
Never tape over memories for sure man, good times, the trick was not to tape over any, man i wonder how many banger sets were tapes over and now lost forever. I had an old early slipmat demo that my sister taped over that had "Do NOT tape over written on it and that was and still is the best set I've ever heard. Probably mid 92 to the start of 93 track wise and was dark, it had that lld boxing mc dubbedright at the start of side A " let get ready to rumbaaaal!" If anyo e knows what mix im refrencing please do hit me up ive been looking for nearly 30 yrs😢.

I love the screen picture, it is just like most of my old tapes, but I never wrote old school on them because the tracks were recent releases :D
After finding the tape years later thought it was a good idea to write that on it so it would not get taped over 😊
@@MRSTU1210 haha I supposed something like that. BTW did you removed hiss noise or did some kind of proccess when you digitalized the tape ? I am thinking about to digitalize also some of my tapes
