This prefab house also has several different options and is built as a "off frame" modular home! The manufacturer for this house is Franklin Homes. The model for this home is the “San Marco” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 2,042 square foot(on main level). Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

Love that they are not mounting the microwaves above the stove. I would do away with the shelves in the utility room so you can have a freezer.

Agreed on both points.
While I commend Franklin Homes for this Handicap accessible home, there are a few particulars to consider for someone who is handicapped. If the exterior doors are 36", 3'-0 they will meet ADA standards. A lot of homes have 42", 3'-6" doors which make it more comfortable to get through with a wheelchair, if that happens to be a result of the handicap. In the same vein, the venthood should have the controls down on the countertop, or in the cabinet wall next to the stove. If you are sitting in a chair, you can't reach the controls on the front of the hood. And the HV/AC vents should be in the floor too, again, somebody in a wheelchair can't climb a ladder and may not have somebody to reach them to open, close or clean them. The shower isn't bad, but a handshower should just be standard with this setup. For me, I still want the walk in tub. I want to be able to soak and still get out of the thing.
I would do without the end porch. Instead, I would put a covered "stoop" about 8' square with a covered breezeway to a 2 bay garage with a slight incline from the house to the garage. Dig in the foundation so it can be closer to the ground with a 4' crawlspace to be able to do pest control and have a little extra storage, access at each end. And, of course, outside those nice aviary doors a fat porch 12' wide and about 24' long, screened with two ceiling fans and a small, safe outdoor kitchen with a charcoal grilling area. Yeah, with the money I could create a really livable home for anybody with this floorplan.
Where the porch is should be the garage. Porch should be off the dining room 👍🏽

I Love that when you walk in you don't walk directly into the Livingroom that Cool.....You have a standing area. I Like the Closets, I Love a Closet that isn't in the Bathroom as you know.
I noticed the open spaces at the sinks and wider doorways as well as a perfect microwave location. I also noticed there were "marriage lines" at the entrance to the master bedroom and master bath. In addition, while they provided an ADA shower (minus no threshold) with grab bars, the toilet was not so well equipped. There was a single grab bar at the top of the tank BEHIND the toilet. None to the side. Some hits, some misses, but still the first I've seen to really address any of the needs of the disabled.
I wish the island was bigger for bar stools, a new house has to have that!
Also, i would remove the shelves in the laundry room to make room for a sink & a stand up freezer!

I would remove the 2 brick pillars on each side of the fireplace. Nice kitchen I would use the shelves in utility room to store stuff. Nice size primary suite. Love primary closet. Very nice home. Thanks for the tour!

That pantry could double as a safe room. It has so much space, but it looks like just an ordinary cabinet.

The toilet has a bar on the back but definitely would need a side bar to be handicap accessible. I also hope it is a tall toilet.
I did not like the dark kitchen cabinets white ones or lighter ones would be much better overall the price seemed high i was guessing around $240 thousand but overall i liked it

The exterior is absolutely Spectacular...Love the Colors they chose... This living room is absolutely gorgeous, Relaxing and looks very Comfortable.The Dining room is very roomy, spacious and especially fancy.. Love the brightness of the wall colors throughout the home..and those door's are very nice in the dining room.. Not too keen on the dark cabinets, but I must say this darkest Brown Kitchen Cabinets look Amazing..
The Architect, Design Team and Construction Crew really Outdid themselves in building this house 🏠🏡..The pantry is absolutely a great size... Loving the porch...It really makes the house look extra extraordinary Perfect..The ceiling vents are much better than the original floor vents which had to be replaced every so often unless you painted them.The bedroom's are all good sizes to move around in.I give this Home 100% for the home of the year..😃🌞🌻☀️🌼😊
Always nice to see no trip hazard in the center. Nobody wants to hit that with their skateboard when it's dark. 😏
I love the master bathroom. That shower would be awesome for my parents.
As a disabled person I love this home! Pantry, closets, shower, extra wide doors check all the boxes for me. The porches are a bonus!
8:47 and the sink is open so a wheelchair can fit underneath. ❤

You should take Cullen to the Castillo de San Marco, the fort, he would love it.

Nice to see handicap accessible I think the doors are 36 inches wide..The master bath shower needs to be flat so a wheelchair or walker can glide in with ease... the pantry was awesome... the shelves in the laundry room are nice as well and they are all wooden ....definitely a deck in the back love the porch in front and side...it's covered which is a plus...vents in the ceiling awesome....the sofa if I could have climbed in the phone I would have jumped on it ..looks so comfy.... I think the bathroom had lots of space because if you are in a wheelchair, you need space to turn around, etc. without bumping into everything.

Love it. Been a while since we saw a pantry worthy of the dance. The floor plan shows the shelf area in the utility room as a place for a freezer. I think they set this up as a quick access pantry area since the other one is hidden. Either way is cool. Great home and great tour.
I love the porches on this home and the walk-in pantry and the additional shelving in the utility room provides storage space for larger cooking pots. The master bed and bath and closet are superb, the spare bedrooms and closets are great as well. It hits it out of the park.

What a fabulous home! Great layout for sure. I've never heard of a tankless water heater before so that's pretty nice. Best parts of this home were definitely that hidden pantry and that master closet was awesome! Great tour! Prayers to your wife and family as you get ready for the new arrival!

Absolutely love this place and especially the party (pantry) room. 😂 The homes you tour and and have toured are usually so well thought out. I would love to own one.
Fix, sitting on the couch during a tour is a massive help!! I’ve been asking for someone to that (& sit on shower benches) soo much as it really does help us viewers see distances better since cameras can distort that & depth perception a little. So showing the angles from the couch, or using your arm/leg to show the amount of space between the counters & island or the width of a hallway is so incredibly helpful.

I live in Jacksonville, my in-laws used to live in st. Augustine. It’s a beautiful area along the coast!
Love this home. And it's great to see the thought that went into making this handicap accessible. The only thing I'd want to change is the location of the electric panel. I'd want to move that to the utility room. Other than that, it was perfect!

Great tour of ADA accessible home, but there’s no ramp at entryway. I did notice the railing on steps but there would have to be a ramp at front and back too.
The single grab bar behind the toilet - I don’t get without a grab bar on the side wall also. I like that there’s leg room under sink in island. A beautiful home.
But that tub/shower is not accessible at all you’d have to hose off outside! 😂

I had a stroke in February of this year and have some mobility issues... This home would be awesome. The only thing i would çhange is the shelving in the laundry room, maybe half the shelving area and half for deep freezer space.
Also.. the toilet in the master bathroom.. I would want it on the longer wall so if i needed assistance from either side it would be possible. Other than that.,.. it's perfect.
St. Augustine is not the oldest city in America. It is the oldest continuously occupied city in the country. When the Spanish came her, they were very heavily steeped in the Catholic religion. They believed in the saints so the named the city after the man Augustine. Much love to your family and watch all your videos. Nobody does them better. God bless you. Love from Florida.
Finally tankless water heaters, ! All manufacturer should be using them. Needs a utility sink. Bar along side stool not behind it. Storage in bathroom.
I have that particular Renai water heater outside and it does great. Plenty of hot water even if more than one source is using it at the time. Mine is propane.
Kinda do for us Long drive. This is perfect for my spouse .

Very nice house I like it a lot! that furniture in the house is for looks, they take the furniture out when the house is being shipped, and then you can put your own furniture in their they do that for show models, when the house is built.

I would buy 2 of these. Lol, I truly like the design of this home. One thing I would like to see is a staged guest room. Just to get some idea of how a bedcwould look like in there.
