He already handicapped himself in sekiro. Those demon bell and charmless, he even went with base vitality and posture. If fromsoft somehow made a feature, or modders made a mod where you can play wolf but without his kusabimaru, he'd use it and even be a god in it. There is literally nothing could stop this man.

I think when people think of watching a speedrun, they really want this. This, this was a complete and masterful //showcase// of Sekiro, and your skill, planning, execution, and speed is awesome in the true sense of the word. Bravo, beautiful video.
Perfectly said. After I got all achievements I wanted to watch a Speedrun and couldn't make it through half way out of boredom. Ongbals playstyle though is awesome to watch
I would've liked to see the cutscenes and stuff though, see what he does in the menus and such. Not technically a speedrun ofc, but like you said, a masterful showcase of skill

@@richardlyman2961 actually the shadows dies twice refers to owl’s deaths in hirata and ashina castle. Sekiro even says death of a shadow in one of them
@@aravinds3846 it doesn’t make sense tho, owl is not even the main character in the story. Maybe the death of shadow has a special meaning here. But referring it to sekiro dying twice for Kuro definitely makes more sense, because a shinobi is the master’s shadow.
@@PG-love4u owl is the main driver/antagonist of the story , responsible for bringing down the Ashina Clan or at least played a major role in it like contracting the ministry and helping them infiltrate Ashina , Hirata , etc.
There’s something so satisfying about watching an incredibly skilled player effortlessly clear an entire game that is considered to be one of the hardest souls games. Amazing work, you’re one of my favorite souls content creators!

@@KABLAMMATS no, you really wont be able to tolerate some out-of-the-ass bullshit deaths in those games at times, there is generally more freedom in mobility for sekiro too (bloodborne is a close second)

If think about it, this is a true die twice run. Genichiro only causes him to pass out via blood loss in the beginning. He dies in the cutscene getting the mortal blade, then dies at the end next to Kuro.
I once completed sekiro like 6 times and I was like "oh lemme try a no death run" some bosses are easy but the ape is what fucked me up. Seeing Ongbal do this makes me want to try again
Keep on pushing. It's possible. I have done it twice out of over 40 runs.
I can no damage the ape, but God help me when isshin decides to 2 shot me

@@justin94431 demon of hatred gives way more room for error, isshin 1 shots you + chip damage. I was referring to demon bell + no charm
The sheer awareness of surrounding and excellent execution of those jumps to get to the bosses is impressive itself.
It really is a treat getting to see your gameplay. I absolutely love sekiro and I've 100% it on playstation. It's so cool to see how you've mapped everything out and the different techniques you use to deal with the bosses as fast as possible. Seriously, it's so cool to get to see you playing this the way you do, it's awesome! Ya, I was a little disappointed to see him do some of the cheese strats. Not saying it's bad form or nothing, but thought it was going to be a base build run without the cheese strats. That is what I thought was going to happen here eheh. Still, top notch run though.

This is some real high quality gameplay and ever since I've replayed Sekiro on my second run I've been watching these kind of videos.
I've always found that the Bell Demon is good for training yourself to master the combat. The tighter demands and higher strengths of the enemies makes you much more reactive to their movements, and you pick up on the smaller cues a lot better. You're not under any obligation to continue the entire game with it on at all times, and all you lose is the XP boost if you deactivate it, so if you find yourself pulling hair out at a rather unforgiving boss fight (looking at you Demon of Hatred,) you can feel free to pop the demon off and just put him back on after you're done the fight.
Bell demon doesn’t give any xp boost, not having kuro’s charm gives about 20% boost to sen and xp though
Demon bell doesnt affect bosses too i think, i might have to check it

@@gandalfdafavela1044 more than affecting the bosses, it affects you. The damage you deal reduces and the posture meter also builds up slower

This video is like a movie for me, it's the truest walkthrough I can use for my run in case I bought the game. The way you killed those Headless monsters for the Spiritfall perks reminded me of my times I've retrieved the full armor from Dr light in Megaman X4. I am so glad that you have shared this run and impressed me the whole gameplay. You are my inspiration to become better in gameplay even though I am not experienced in any Souls game i've done. Once again, thank you very much for your run, every videos you've made is like a cinematic movie more than simply just a gameplay.

The purifies ending still got me good. Since unlike any other imortals, they always have an immortal centipede inside of them marking that they are corrupted(except genichiro[he has a freaking prime Isshin ashina]) while sekiro death as an immortal is more peaceful than that, no centipede no curses, just fade away with the blossom flower showing that he has overcome what always troubled him, shows that he is pure.
Sekiro's immortality came from his bond with the divine heir.. other immortals drank the rejuvenating waters, which is impure unlike the true dragon's heritage...

Despite obviously capable of speedrunning (I mean we already seen he's doing a Speedrunning Strats already in his Gameplay) i don't think he will do it though, atleast competitively, even if he do it, it will be just a Normal Gameplay of him trying to Speedrun because he's more of Creative-Combo making kind of Guy rather than Be Fast as fuck kind of Guy.

I just wanna say, killing the headless ape before it even got to summon its mate was pretty damn impressive. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone defeat that boss that fast. Usually people will finish the first phase, then kill off the mate then the headless ape last; I’ve even seen people kill the headless ape first before the mate can do anything. This was different tho-not even letting it summon the mate? That’s badass. That takes skill. That’s why I say this guy has to be the best Sekiro player out there. He’s always showing new ways on how to play this game.
The second ape did show up but it was far too late, you could see it behind him while he was executing the boss

@@Andreas-wx2is He very nearly died against the first one he fought on land. Way closer than any other boss/mini boss got him. And I could tell he was more focused by the fact that he stopped being as aggressive. Even when he had time to attack, he just held still and focused on the deflect. I do the exact same thing when I'm fighting the Headless thanks to their bullshit chip damage and their even more bullshit terror buildup.
@@TheStraightestWhitest agreed. He was on the back foot after that unlucky block. When playing a base hp run they must be a lot scarier to fight because of the chip damage. When playing a run with so little hp chip damage is probably a bitch, especially since if he had normal hp by then that hit would have only tickled him.
@The Anonymous Lemon I've platinumed this game ages ago. Done all the Inner Bosses and the Gauntlet of Strength where you have to beat all three consecutively. I can beat the Headless, never even die to them. But they're the only boss I can't consistently destroy. I almost always end up taking damage.
