+Zombie Lauderdale naw bro! I'm going to have to disagree on that one! Tyson was too much of a killer. Tua was too and would've been a beautiful thing to see them fight.
Tua was a powerhouse, but as I watch closely I notice he's actually pretty classically crafty. I don't like that we all tend to say he's another Tyson, without giving him credit for his classical styling; that's what really makes a difference between him and Tyson. But nevertheless it's very apparent that he was here to spar with Evander to get him primed for a fighter like Tyson.
David Tua came in for the sole purpose of getting Evander ready for Tyson. That’s it. Gary Bell came in right before David did to be Evander’s main sparring partner for the Tyson fight.
Tua below his legs look rock solid and extremely special exercise program with lots of commitment. His fighting style is such that he has got centre of gravity and he is not of balance where fighters are skipping and dancing, more of a wrestlers legs controlling the ground. The other area of strength are his work ethics of building his upper body strength. If you see the frontal view you will see the development of the muscular development of the upper back between the shoulder blades that's developed and given his neck a solid foundation. These muscles are of strength and as usual since he is short he is delivering round house to the boxers from his shoulders to taller heavyweights who receive it on their chin when they fight upright position or else high cheekbone or side of the skull. His heavy midbody work make taller boxers lean forward and offer their head for a target and in range for his inside hooks to their chins and has a high accuracy ratio. Mind you he is totally multifaceted. The flying left hook to the point of his opponents chin that ends the fight. His heavy punching of his opponents body( midriff) that collapses them or make them lean forward and come down to his height and terminates the fight. Mind you he has a speed that he can land atleast a dozen power punches in matter of seconds that happened to very good boxers like Hashim Rehman when refree stopped the fight. One thing I have seen his opponents all tough guys get KO'D and loose consciousness. Many anxiety moments in the ring for the fighter, the referee and the ringside doctor. Other's stopped their boxing career. Few landed up with strokes post fights. One thing in heavyweight boxing he could finish an opponent and had a different variety of angles which taller heavyweights never faced in their lives. He won fights on his merit on KO'S and TKO'S. You didn't have to go to the judges scorecards. He was started as a heavyweight and finished as a heavyweight with honor in the same division. A heavyweight specialist. I like his attitude in boxing and the closest with this attitude is my favorite Roberto Duran. Sometimes The best fighters in boxing cannot be conquered. The only irony age closes their careers. Tua was the perfect sparring partner.I wonder if Holyfield would have one without practicing with tua.He was the only short fighter with the strength and power and size of Tyson.
Tua was a lot more durable than Tyson and could generate more power with less movement. Would have been a cool fight to watch, but it never happened. Oh well. 🤷🏾♂️

Both in their primes in a 12 round fight would have been great.
Damn i was born two months after this clip
Music was also the key. Tyson Tupac and GANGSTER-RAP. Holyfield positive gospel
