I think it would be a crazy matchup as they both have their strengths. Bayonetta is faster, has more weapons, and her experience could possibly be enough to beat Sephiroth but… Sephiroth has more raw physical strength, the Masamune can cut through anything, and his Supernova form can destroy multiple planets. Both of them have powerful magic attacks. Ultimately the victor would probably come down to the setting of the fight. Sephiroth has my vote for the winner
All the inaccuracies here with Sephiroth. Sephiroth, in the game literally ascended into lower/mid tier God hood. He has actual power over the planet. In Advent children, Sephiroth returned due to his will surpassing that of Jenova, hence why Kadaj turned into Sephiroth. Also in Advent Children, Sephiroth literally controlled the Lifestream and pulled the planet off of its axis. Plot armor is literally the only reason Cloud won. If there was no plot armor, Cloud would have died in the Mako reactor during the Niblehiem event, as would Tifa and Zack. In the FF7 Remake, Sephiroth literally obtained the true knowledge of creation. Please, don't talk about a character when you know nothing of him.

I think it would be a crazy matchup as they both have their strengths. Bayonetta is faster, has more weapons, and her experience could possibly be enough to beat Sephiroth but… Sephiroth has more raw physical strength, the Masamune can cut through anything, and his Supernova form can destroy multiple planets. Both of them have powerful magic attacks. Ultimately the victor would probably come down to the setting of the fight. Sephiroth has my vote for the winner
