Yorke Peninsula has good beaches where , when the time, tide and weather are good, fish like that can be caught along with a few surprises at times. Was shown these spots by locals as a teenager when I lived in Minlaton back in the 70s.
Amazing that you’ve had the chance to see fishing in these fantastic regions of Australia with limited fishing pressure

hi mate, this is an old adjustible t clamp on outrgigger holder that I found many years ago. Hope this helps

Tnx, they’re outrigger holders they use in boats, fantastic unit, if you can find them, and the cops can’t say anything as you can retract them back when you’re driving.

They’re outrigger rod holders on boats, I found this in a tackle shop on display from many years ago and purchased it but I’m sure if you look around you will find one that suits you, good luck

I've already checked the government website about the rules and licenses for fishing, but I can't identify which license to fish on the beach or on the rock. Hi mate, you don't need a licence for beach fishing, only for freshwater and net fishing

What size rods and reels do you use for this kind of beach fishing?
I use assassin horizon 15 foot rods and I use shimano Stella 20000 and 30000 with 90 lb braid

@@adamimberti6948 no that’s all you need. The most important thing is to find sections of beach close to outshore reefs with not much seaweed after a storm and you should catch one

I have done a fair bit of drone fishing and know spots that hold them regularly but I find that unfortunately this type of fishing is really destroying the numbers of snappers out there on our coastline so that’s why I haven’t made any videos on it. I feel like most people are responsible with their fishing but unfortunately others are really taking a lot of fish and the future is not every good. Don’t pull the fish on the sand with your rod, you’ll end up getting flicked in the face with your tackle…. Ouch.
Secondly take the hook out of its mouth before you pick it up and show everyone…. Ouch.
