Dude. I watched ten of these vids. Your machine is the BEST. 1ST off...you made it large enough to generate a sufficient amount of smoke. 2ND, you had the brains to add a safety valve. Great video. Subscribed.

I did notice one thing different about your Smoke Machine and that is that you used 22 Gage copper wire to wrap your Tiki Torch and your Smoke Machine seem to put out considerable more smoke than all the rest I watched and I can't help think that it could be due to either the Copper Wire Length and or Diameter or just the fact that it was copper wire you used. Good Job Buddy and thanks for the video.

Built the smoke machine, found the air leaks in the cars EVAP system, tightened clamps and changed leaking cracked hoses. I couldn't have revealed those leaks without the smoke machine. Thanks. Also I used an air mattress pump to force the smoke through the system. That works great. My air compressor was broken at the time. Keep building and creating.

You can buy sewing machine oil by the gallon to have reserve oil on hand too if you need that much oil lamp wick will work as a wick. You can also seal the taps with silicone to protect it from accidentally hitting it up against metal when it's connected the a power source. Then just use mineral spirits to clean the terminals to remove the silicone if you ever need to take the stainless steel loose. If you have insulator nuts you could use those as well. Piece of rubber tubing works also. Safety always pays. You could use a fish aquarium air pump for a compressor.

Great video. I noticed you had the copper wire windings fairly close together. Any concerns that some of them are touching and shorting between them which would make your total resistance less and too much current flow? I have thought about using some enameled inductor/transformer winding wire since it wouldn't short if it touched, but you have to scrap off the enamel on the ends where it touches the bolts.

Yes the oil was poured on top of the coiled wire with the wic running threw. You need 2ohms length of wire. I used solid copper wire that was 18 gauge. The gauge isn't as important as the fact that it needs to be 2ohms length of solid non stranded wire.

Also tell them how important it is for the wires on the tiki wick not to touch, Because it will start a fire.. I seen a guy use 4 tiki wicks in order to separate the wires.

Nevermind, I was using the wrong type of wire, that's why it lit on fire..

I just used some resistance wire that I bought..I guess it's for vapes.."26 Gauge nichrome 80 wire" at 2.5 ohms of resistance.. it works fine now. I tested it out for 5 minutes
