@@JohnH0130 That’s not all what happened. The SUV simply had a larger turning radius or they didn’t cut the wheel all the way because you can see the wheels are always pointing left. Also the cammer left the travel lane and turned into the SUV occupying the emergency lane which means the cammer made an unsafe lane change while turning. Like I said, the cammer simply needed to stop and wait for the lane to clear before continuing their turn.

Judging by the pavement, there are two ways to go from that left. The car took the far right way, the cammer took the left. Before you condemn him, ask yourself what you think when someone bypasses a turn lane traffic and cuts in late. I can sort of sympathize with the cammer here because he may have moved his eyes over to the main road, not really seeing the Rav4, thinking it was on the side road.

As long as the other car is in front, they have the right of way over you. Up until you can confirm they've left the road (can't really say lane here since it's a U-turn). It's too bad that we don't all carry a device like this in our pocket all the time. But seriously, it takes less than 5 seconds to snap pictures of each other's info. There's no reason not to do it. Worst case you'll just delete the photos. And if the other person refuses, that's a big red flag that you absolutely need to get that info from them (or call police to assist you with the accident).

It seems like some drivers now days are enjoying the drama of collisions. If you're paying attention and you see someone is not, a little beep beep on the horn just to wake them up or let them know your in their blind spot could prevent a collision sometimes.
Must have been a slow video day because there were quite a few clips that were rather old. The one at the tow yard where the individual rammed the gate is at least 2 yrs old & the one with the white cars that were racing where the one crashed & then took off is at least a yr old. There were others that I recognized too. Love the channel but if you haven't enough clips for a video then just wait & don't reload older videos & pass them off as being recent, especially if it's not annotated as being older or a reupload. The tow yard narrative is very misleading by saying it was from Tuesday as if it were this week. So either mention that the clip is older in the narrative or just wait for a few more videos to be sent in before making a new one.

On any double turn lane setup, you have to be cautious of those drivers who chose one lane to turn from, then want the other lane. It doesn't matter which lane you're in either, you will always have those special, entitled drivers that have no regard for human life, take it from you.
I go through a dual left-turn every day. I always use the outside, and I always turn halfway onto the shoulder because so many on the inside ignore the fact that I'm there.

tow operators HATE those things if a truck with one needs to be recovered (I watch some on CZcams). They mount to or block where the tow hooks slide in and, as you can see, can't be trusted for pulling a loaded truck or even lifting.

But seriously, it takes less than 5 seconds to snap pictures of each other's info. There's no reason not to do it. Worst case you'll just delete the photos. And if the other person refuses, that's a big red flag that you absolutely need to get that info from them (or call police to assist you with the accident).

Must have been a slow video day because there were quite a few clips that were rather old. The one at the tow yard where the individual rammed the gate is at least 2 yrs old & the one with the white cars that were racing where the one crashed & then took off is at least a yr old. There were others that I recognized too. Love the channel but if you haven't enough clips for a video then just wait & don't reload older videos & pass them off as being recent, especially if it's not annotated as being older or a reupload. The tow yard narrative is very misleading by saying it was from Tuesday as if it were this week. So either mention that the clip is older in the narrative or just wait for a few more videos to be sent in before making a new one.

On any double turn lane setup, you have to be cautious of those drivers who chose one lane to turn from, then want the other lane. It doesn't matter which lane you're in either, you will always have those special, entitled drivers that have no regard for human life, take it from you.
I go through a dual left-turn every day. I always use the outside, and I always turn halfway onto the shoulder because so many on the inside ignore the fact that I'm there.

But sure enough, someone is dumb enough to turn left and still wind up in front of you. This is why you're taught to check both your mirrors and over your shoulder before making a lane change - the shoulder look lets you see things that are in the mirror' blind spot. But that doesn't work for a semi which has no rear windows.
Not to mention, the cammer obviously wanted to pass the truck and then merge, which is also not legal.

I would agree, but the freeway entrance was to its own lane, not a merge. Not smart to pass on the right, but he was in his own lane, and the semi truck changed lanes into an exit only at the point the lane began which is also very dangerous and unwise.
