"Anger is an expression of fear." - Vidya Balan supremacy 🔥🔥
For a black chick like me I love the fact there is a streaming platform how on earth will a girl like me living in a small West Country town ever get to see these amazing Indian movies and amazing Indian series like Delhi Crime and scared games. Yes the big Bollywood blockbusters are great but I am finding that the smaller films from India are very special and way more personal.
This movie was mind blowing!
I’m South African and I just fell Inlove with Shefali Shah after watching “Darlings”. She’s extremely talented 😭
Watch Kahani it is the best Indian movie ever made!
The best part was Shefali Ma’am saying that she doesn’t act like the character but becomes the character. We STAN her in this house 👏🏽
There's something about her eyes; the way she emotes through them, the pain, the anger, the heartbreak you can't for a second take your eyes off her. Delhi Crime remains my favourite of hers, uff what a performance!!
It's so refreshing to see two leading ladies who backed themselves up solely on the basis of their talent are getting such roles to shine and put themselves out there to show the world. That see we have arrived. ❤️❤️
Shefali is a very good actor no doubt. But she cheated on her former husband (Harsh Chhaya whom she divorced) to marry her current husband who is a successful producer and cast her opposite Amitabh Bacchan.
@@gauravipal9518 when it comes to someone’s personal life we really need to leave that alone as we don’t know the ins and outs of it. Yes she married a producer but the real question is she any good at what she does.. I have watched a lot of her work the overly script or story may not be great at all times but she brings her A game to the roles. Marrying a producer does not increase you talent even it gives your more access.
Yes! They should have invited Rohini too. Ageism?
Vidhya's sari & her styling is awesome.
It's awesome , but it's not for her as it's making her look more bulkier @debvids.
Sorry Bulkier
Yeah she's looking stunning.
@@jojj3268 yup👌
Can we take a moment to admire how well Anupama interviews. Each interview is so intensely interesting.
I second that :)

She's so right. Female roles are getting diverse while most of the male actors are still there....the STAR roles.
Yess
@@rrrkk 😑
Maybe in bollywood but in south industryit doesnt
@@lamyaibrahim8710 I disagree. There it's even worse. Samantha, Nayanthara and NIithya Menon have discussed it several times.
Very few roles available.
@@abdulrahmankhan667 i meant for male stars not females
" I don't act like the character, I become the character"..wow..it says volumes of the process required to become a terrific actor like she is. Meaningful conversation among three women with knowledge and insight. Love you 😍
vidya so stylish! great mix-match. its true all star heros are stuck in bottle. women are doing far greater variety
Shefali Shah has the most beautiful and expressive eyes 💓
She is looking so old🤣
Vidya looks so stunning. She's aging like fine wine.
Such powerful, amazing actors! Kudos to them!
And Vidya’s laughter is infectious ❤️
Vidya is so articulate….love her absolutely ❤️
Quote of the Day: “I don’t know if I’m saying too much, actually.”

Saw 'Jalsa '. It is worth watching. Everyone can see. Really it's universal movie. Both actresses have done good job.
Both played🔥🔥🔥🔥
thnx Shefali and vidya Balan for such a brilliant movie with such a powerful performance..
I love this Palakkad Kerala woman who made a mark in Hindi films when she went through rejections in Tamil and Malayalam movies. A huge loss of talent for South films
What an exchange of views and expression of the story of two women and their intricate and different and difficult characters they play and act in this movie. Look forward to seeing it. I am definitely going to enjoy it. Seems a very mature story.
Thank you so so much for bringing them together for this interview, they’re my top two favourite actors in the Hindi film industry. Love!
Can’t take my eyes of Vidya.
I loved the fact that both of them not even once butt/jumped in with their views while the other one was speaking or answering a question
Would like to see an interview with the cast and/or crew of Jhund! There is so much technical brilliance in that film.
That MAMI panel 2015...I was there in the audience and how radiant Vidya Balan was and continues to be....
I’m so happy to see this interview! My excitement knows no bounds 👏🏽
I loved the whole interview with three very powerful woman personalities, unique in their own way yet so similar!!! Love u Anupama. I am ur huge fan and Vidya and Shefali have watched all their movies and like Vidya rightly said they both touch of hearts through their roles!!!!👍🥰

Wt a movie...🤭🤭 Mind blowing... Literally it's such a treat to watch them together.... 🥰🥰🥰
Many a times after a movie is good we feel that wow this part was perfectly played by the actor..seeing vidya ma’am and shefali ma’am in jalsa made me realise how brilliant both of them are..the movie would have been equally good if their roles were reversed as well..that is how versatile both are
I am glad Anupama had such a good conversation and liked the way you handled and both clarified and all the best for both of them to do more movies together
Jalsa was a fantabulous movie and these terrific actors took it to the next level
Dynamite these two, such a pleasure to watch!
I was waiting for thisv
So much power and tallent in one frame I felt watching this interview. Bechare male actors.
I just love how these two women passionately talk about their work.

Will never miss a movie in which these two stalwarts are acting! They're the best. Together, they will be dynamite!
After seeing so many interviews today of female actors , I really want a movie with Vidya Balan and Tapsee Pannu together... I think it will be a blast.
Both of them had outstanding performance 👌👌👌👌👌 Nice movie ❤️❤️❤️
I want to see them together again .
15:57 That’s not the current definition of ‘Ghosting’ but I know what she meant 😂
Inthink wanted to say "I'm gonna shadow you"
Love Vidya Balan. One of the greatest actors we have today in Hindi Films. Can't wait to watch the film.
And Anupama Mam, you are awesome as always.
Idk why Vidya is worried because we’re all excited to see her in a grey role and even play a fabulous villain. ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ Sequel, maybe? 😂
I love the part when ruksana get to know the truth... shefali's eye then were..... amazing
Two power House in one frame.. you can't ignore them. .. Jalsa is a masterpiece unfortunately ❤
I just love to watch often these wonderful ladies ..just love them ...🥰
Talented and gorgeous what else can be said. I wish they would come to Hollywood.
Wish sanjay leela bhansali will make a period drama, with vidya, vidyut, yami and shefali, manoj bajpai. Something like gulab gang.
The icons 😍✨🙌👏
Shefali Shah back from her beach vacation! 😍
I'm more excited about the kitchen scene than the movie. 🤣
Superb movie ..loved these powerhouse actors
Two refined actresses that Indian Cinema has💐
Two best actresses of Bollywood and normal simple real👌👌💕💕
Both of them are phenomenonal actress ❤️
When kangana says she is the best and all nonsense she writes on her insta bio i wanna show her their films especially Vidya's from her first movie she was amazing
VIdya is looking sooo beautiful ... love her look ❤
I saw it in 3 or 4 sittings. It was so unsettling.
Mam we love your show very much.
How do you watch this and not fall in love with these beautifullllll women!!!!
Exhibit A of Streaming Services making a Cultural Impact: ‘Sacred Games’, and ‘Made in Heaven’ (among others)
One word for both the ladies, amazing. It would be nice to get a few words from Rohini Hatangadi, what amazing actress she has been for year's.
It doesn’t make sense to see the interviews before even seeing the movie. Every time Anupama is saying “I would like to say without much giving ……” I mean we have not seen anything !
shefali shah is so gorgeous
Ya I also agree for that your comment "it's abetter time to be a female actor.......
So awesome.
Both women look so good
The number of times all these women agree on ya ya ya
Preeetttyyy womennn!!!😭👍🏾
Human amazing 😍
Vidya Balan is so beautiful.. lovely saree
Omggggg...two of my most favsss ❤️❤️
Two acting legends
bot army of anupama give a thumbs up
Three of my most beloved humans on earth together😍😍what a sight😘
Is it just me or is Vidya ma'am a little off here? She seems nervous, or at least ill at ease - always holding onto the seat, shaking her leg ever so slightly but constantly, the hyper-energetic replies all of a sudden. I hope all's well.
The difference in power/ socio economics between the characters played by these women addresses intersectionality in some way?
They are so much into role even now but that the way you get to act like someone you are not …That’s why they are beautiful actresses.
Movie is osm and very interestingly intelligently layered scripted and directed …
Shefali is too powerful as an actress. You can never guess what will happen when she acts. Vidya is open and expressive while Shefali is a mystery. But Shefali is powerful both in life and acting. You can see Vidya is tensed here and Shefali is already developed as an actor and is moved to the next level and knows what to do and when. Shefali is trying to ease Vidya since she has the upper hand. You may feel the younger Shefali was similar to Vidya but it's not true. Both are poles apart.
maybe that's because shefali is more well-versed with the ott platform compared to Vidya who's relatively new to this. Vidya is yet to get accustomed to the workings of ott films/series. ott stories are becoming more and more real and relatable. maybe that's why she was apprehensive about doing her role in the first part. Bollywood to ott is a huge transformation and she needs a little more time ig. Shefali rules the ott space, undoubtedly.
@@sssy910 yes that angle I missed. We must give our actors more time.
It was delight to see this interview after watching the movie. I got to know more about the movie...
A lot of empathy is needed to understand Jalsa... Movie has too many layers and I truly feels that It was very realistic.....
