Never seen a actor speaking about Artificial intelligence, Block chain technology, Robot's and machine learning!! First of a kind , being a IT guy I have not even learnt these stuffs. If nepotism gives Rana I will gladly accept it!!!
Yes. he is somewhat related to Nagarjuna Akkineni.

There is. His family runs the Ramanaidu Film School. It nit only works as a school but also is location to film shoots.
He failed in 10 class. But he is very intelligent and full of knowledge

The way Rana exposed the loopholes in Bollywood is simply superb,,,,,,loved the innocence of Anupama mam ,,the way she is getting excited about the working pattern in south is awesome to watch.
This guy knows more stuff than Telugu and Hindi cinema together. Highly intelligent , well articulated, humble person, who is also a geek! It is high time we get better CGI and animated things. We need that change and convergence of IT and movies in our country. Glad this man exists. Wonderful interview
Dear watch his interview on schoopwhoop u will off course love it...

It's coz of our mentor Dr. D. Rama naidu garu. His grand dad.
Reason why Nepotism gave great stars in Telugu is because of two things
1. Nobody is forced to get into movies, folks are genuinely interested
2. The culture, how these star kids are raised, you educate yourself work hard and earn your own stardom.
@Shankar creature we are very happy with nepotism in Telugu..it gave rana, prabhas, ntr, mahesh babu, ram charan, allu arjun
Shankar creature Kannada what ?? Nobody knows you guys .. insecure .. not worth at all .. LOL .. underachievers
The just raised by watching how their Parents Are understand their Works and They interested0
Am I only who noticed his hands?
He talks with his Hands! 👐👌😁
Great Interview!
I got distracted by them😁
Most people do that, even anupama is using her hands while asking questions to him.
Even i have that habit of talking with Hands.. Several of my classmates too..probably we Telugu ppl do that a lot.. I had to control it when I got criticism from my colleagues in Chennai..They used to say tal with mouth that's enough.. no need of hands.. :D
We Indians have that in us..we do hand gesture while talking.. Hollywood actors rarely do that..
I saw it too
The saddest part is him being appreciated only for Bhaladev in Bahubali ...despite of doing such a great movie like GAZI i just loved him in that movie to...we can say he is a dynamic n versatile actor
1000 % agreed #Ghazi is a wonderful film
Agree. Ghazi, leader etc shows his potential as an actor

Bollywood's so-called A-rated stars should learn some humility and modesty from such gifted actors from the south.
I see this comments a lot in south indian celebrities interview. I mean come on Ajay devgan, Shah rukh khan , Ranbir kapoor, saif ali khan all of them are grounded and gentle while giving an interview. I haven't seen someone Bollywood making a scene like sandeep reddy vanga while doing interview.
@@gouthambhat1622 Although I'm south Indian I don't get why ppl from North suddenly started criticizing all Hindi cinema stars with out knowing what they have done to reach that position.Kindly give respect to them as well bcoz there are our stars as well.
@Ryan Kiddo I think the beginning of these supposed non-sensical arguments coming from "Southiees" is how for them, the poster boys are Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Sanjay Dutt. Shah Rukh Khan is perhaps hated because he is far too witty for comfort, and well, if you look back at what Salman and Sanjay have done in some of their interviews and public appearances, it just perpetuates the stereotype of A-list Bollywood celebrities being arrogant, hot-headed, and downright stupid.
@@gouthambhat1622 He was behaving like that because he is tired of justifying the main character. This was quite similar to how Tarantino behaves when interviewer asks about the violence in his movies.
i'm a southie and i always see these type of comments in these videos... why do we need to compare ourselves to the northies? why can't our excellence shine independently instead of being comparative? we shouldn't have an inferiority complex about this...
His family owns 300 screens.. his father didn't give him a single screen for his 1st production.. That itself says Rana is a self made man
The sense of Satisfaction on Anupama's Face after interviewing the South Actors / Technicians who are Talented and Have Better Knowledge than the so called Dummy Stars and Eye Candies is a Treat and Relief..
I sincerly wish him lots lots of success in Telugu and Hindi Cinema. He is a combo of Smart, talent, handsome intelligent and much more wowwww.... I am going to only watch Bahubali for him I am bengali but started watching his telugu movies hindi dubbed! He is awesome!
Anupama chopra being a top critic and cinema buff talks about world cinema and go to cannes and all.. But she is getting so much surprised by the way Telugu cinema work. Just gets to show you how little we know about our country and its diversity and the different systems of doing the same work. That's why if you understand india you have understand the world.
U need 100 lives to understant everything about india

arguably one of the best interviews ever pulled off by anupama on film companion. highly informative!
After hearing all his thoughts about movie making.....he is Elon musk of Indian cinema....
I really like rana's interviews
Me too
Me too.... He is super intelligent and simplifies everything.
The most intelligent, interesting, genuine product of nepotism that I have seen so far... He said something that no other Kapoors, Khans or actor has said ever- India sucks at CGI, AI, graphics for films even after producing the most number of techies.. So true!! I am going to watch more of his interviews now..
Rana...Charan..Bunny...call them the products of nepotism....but they are highly knowledgeable when it comes to 24 crafts of the movie making....
Yes...some people coming from nepotism are bad....but the 3 names I mentioned earlier...are really cool.
Watch his TeD talk
I think you haven't heard of *Ajay Devgn* 😎 That man is a legend... An outstanding actor, a great technician, sensible producer, visionary director, owner of a VFX Company (NY VFXWala) and a Theatre Chain (NY Cinemas)

Genuine and no Facade! After a long time he had been interviewed for "what he is" and "not what bahubhali has created him"!

It's so nice to see actors from South are getting appreciated up in the Bollywood, they deserve that and it's necessary because that's the only way you can break the stereotypes. Would love to see if Malayalam and Tamil industry ( Bengali and Marathi film industry also) also get their due respect as they're the real houses of great contents and beautiful cinemas in the broad spectrum of Indian cinema.

Such an Intelligent and Articulate actor! Well read, well spoken and so likable! He sure knows about technology! Good luck in his future endeavours.
Rana makes a hell lot of sense, it's so true that the film industry in Bombay isn't as infatuated with cinema/art/literature than it is with Social Media, corporations or commerce they overshadow the art and craft part of the industry; it's very reason to exist. FC here is such a powerful platform, the more channels like FC, Cinema Beyond Entertainment and other critics educate our audience, we as a collective society will be hungry for more innovative art and would embrace it with huge numbers. More power to you!
The all Indian actors should think like Rana to develop the Indian cinema to the gobal best level

Such an intelligent guy! Wish any of the Hindi film actors had even half of the intellect he has :(
You could be right, but Aamir from hindi n Kamal from Tamil know most of the nounces in the industry, they work from the core. If you could accept. One thing, Rana is more tech savvy compared to others.

To all well-meaning 'North' Indian brothers and sisters, he's a Telugu hero and not some 'South' actor. Each state in India is unique in its own way and more so the great land of AP/Telangana. Please stick to specifics and not use these loose terms...both for good and bad reasons, we need to give credit or blame appropriately ! For instance I am sure if anyone boxed Gujaratis and Maharashtrians together and said these 'West' Indians, they're bound to get upset about it because both are great ,prosperous states on their own.
