If you play the game and its crashes after 4 to 5 matches. Then this is the solution. Setting the frame max to 60 sucks IMO but until EA releases an official fix then this is the current solution. - Jak na to + styl

Running the game as admin might have been the reason why apex didnt crash for two days. It started crashing again tonight though. It all started with season 13.
Running the game as Admin gives the program more memory access. Maybe they changed the code for season 13.
I started playing ss13 and I've had similar problems.

Right... i'm not playing on my parents HP/Dell monitor... I want my 120+ fps on my 165hz monitor with my 3090ti.
Ik. What's the point of that if one have the power to go beyond 100 fps?

here's a quick fix. just disable the anonymous data collection from the option menu. I never had any crashes or bluescreen ever since. because for some stupid reason instead of collecting the data after every match. EA collects the data during the match. I'm not sure if its going to work for everybody. but that's the one that work for me. I can now play for 5 hours straight without a single crash.
DUDE OMG THANK YOU I GOT A PC FOR CHRISTMAS AND APEX KEPT ON CRASHING BUT IT WORKS NOW! And can i put the max fps higher? Or will it crash like 70 or 90 fps or maybe 120?

I recently had a similar issue which this didn't fix,
THE SOLUTION FOR ME WAS:
1. Turn off (or uninstall) any mouse/keyboard software such as Logitech G Hub, Razer software etc.
2. Uninstall any programs that has "RGB" in the name, mainly "Patriot Viper RGB" or any programs you don't recognize.
That was it.
Stupid and irrelevant, I know.

Update:
The crashing came back, and got much worse, even after a complete wipe and clean windows install, I switched the CPU 10600K to 6700K and it hasn't crashed yet. 🙃
this actually works. I just don't recommend using that razer app anymore, last time I used it got my SSD corrupted that leads to a blue screen

hello i recently had this glitch or bug in season 19 then it somehow worked forabit till today when i installed the season 20 update any fix ?

I am glad i read this i thought my PC was messing up.. i took a break from apex maybe 2 months and got back on it S13 and now I keep getting crashes its really annoying.

I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and a RX 570 8gb (i know i know kinda outdated but still holding up) and before it crashes it says that the graphics drivers have died and then proceeds to bluescreen

Was fighting a 1 vs 3 and almost winning but then the game freezes. It happen almost every single game now and it really frustrating
I just wanna ask if there's any solution that related to Apex Legend today's update that happened to occur blue screen when I tried to play the game. It happened repeatedly and I don't understand why. I opened my other game like BLD3/Genshin etc it works perfectly fine. If I repair file, will it drain the data while doing so? Since it needs internet and it's like 91gb 😂 I play on Origin btw

@@factsbabaaa The good thing is I got the same copy file before I update the game on my hard disk. I deleted the whole game then replaced it with a copy. After that I update again and it works fine.
That is good news and bad news. The bad news is if you dont have the copy file then you need to reinstall the whole game

Having the same issue, screen turns all black with some red and blue outlining of images and I have to reset my whole pc to get it back working again. Load back into the game and it crashes again
ive had these crashes for the longest time on apex only nothing else and i play alot of games but with the launch of season 15 its worse then ever i cant even play half of one game so im trying this and praying that it works ill edit this in either a few hours or a day

@@wonderfulpaperz1761 it must be something with the game itself on certain hw. i have i5 7400 and a 1070ti game used to do this back on season 14 too but rarely. I tried directx12 and it still freezes

My game crashes where it restarts my pc. Most commonly when I start up the game but it's very inconsistent. Getting a new SATA cable helped but it now lags a ton where I can barely play. I've tried many different things, and nothing has worked. When it's not crashing constantly it lags and then crashes 10-20 minutes after I open the game. Any advice? I've probably tried everything other than taking it to a professional.

Bro help i have good pc specs but everytime launch it it brings me to the blue screen of death
Tried this. Tried multiple other fixes. Still crashing. Uninstalled game reinstalled, changed to old drivers, removed other games for space, fresh installed new drivers. Done all this and STILL CRASHING this was not an issue season 12 so is there a way to get EA to address this or get my money back since I got the battle pass and can’t even play.
I loaded the game up right after I've done all of these changes and it still restarts my pc

In my case, it freezes before the start of the match in End of The World when it shows a part of the map which i don't remember which it fucking sucks for me even more since its my favorite map and sometimes i can't play it

When you lower the anti cheat you risk your self to get banned from the game code (snake)

Try making sure your video setting isnt on windowed. Full screen it and then run apex in a custom resolution “1980x1080” or wtv you use

What helped me fix my issue with freezes and crashes was I updated to Windows 11.
How much did you pay for Windows 11?

If you don't want the cap. Upgrade the graphics card to the RTX 3091 TI.
