- Caterpillar is about to throw its hat into the ring with a 2025 pickup truck!
Now, Caterpillar isn't exactly known for everyday vehicles. They're the titans of heavy machinery, the kings of construction and earth-moving equipment. So, a Cat pickup?
Buckle up for a revolution! Is Caterpillar REPLACING your F-150? We dive into rumors of a 2025 CAT PICKUP TRUCK! Hybrid powertrain? Luxurious interior? This could be a GAME-CHANGER for off-road enthusiasts & construction crews! #caterpillar #pickuptruck #Construction #truck #cybertruck #heavymachinery
Details are still under wraps, but whispers suggest a hybrid powertrain might be in the cards. A potent diesel engine paired with an electric motor could deliver unmatched power and surprising fuel efficiency. Caterpillar pickup in 2025 would be a game-changer. It would redefine what a pickup truck can be - a marriage of power, durability, and luxury.
i hope they will have a manual transmission option aswell
A CAT Pickup is worth a very deep look !!!!!!!!!!!!!
And DEEP Pockets
I want one! 😁👍 w/ diesel engine. . . As long as it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg! I'll need those to drive with! 🤔 🇺🇲
We're with you in this one 😂
If it looked like the drawing, it would be amazing...
It will cost $200,000 dollars.
Sadly you are most likely not for off. A junk duramax Chevy can set you back nearly $100k.
People will pay sticker of over 130k for a Raptor and those big boy 650's probably go for 250 to 300k. It's not they need it it's that they want it to compensate for short comings. 😉
Sorry the numbers given were $70k-95k not $200k. However, cat says they are not making a pickup truck.
I’m lovin it already
Would be very interesting.
As a Caterpillar employee, do I get a big discount?
cat just a marketing company now they arnt what they used to be
😮
Give me one. I wanna try this mammoth.
They jumped into the over the road market and got SPANKED! I honestly doubt this is true. Just the rumor mill churning. And if they did who would work on them? That would be tough creating a support system for just a light duty truck that you only make one model of.
Looks like a Ford raptor
It's a GM truck.
Ford, Chevy & Ram are losing sleep right now.
They have been losing sleep for a long time. Not many want a $100k truck. Which is very close to what many of the big 3 are charging for them. Even a bone stock pile of junk Ford is over $40k.
Do you know how busy Santa Clause is going to be delivering these for Christmas???
Caterpillar é respeitada no seu produto, provavelmente essa caminhonete vai vingar.
Anyway, this is not true. Caterpillar decided in 2016 not to get back into the on-highway engine market after leaving it the last time. But this would be nice. Pictures are probably AI generated.
Remember the International?😊
NO WAY .
I hope it’s better than Caterpillar’s piss poor class 8 trucks that were really an International with a different hood. Plagued with mechanical issues!
CAT pulled out of the on-highway truck engine market in 2009. I don’t know why they would re-enter the on-highway market as EPA emissions on diesel engines get stricter in 2027?
Seems like a CAT engine in a Chinese truck body for a “quick brand cash grab.”
There is a lot to be disrupted in this segment. The market could easily be commercial. It’s a car for mining sites. Mines use Toyota land cruisers, not nearly tough enough.
@@marcopeel Oh I see. Don’t get me wrong. I love the concept and if it was done properly with quality. I would be the first in line to buy one. But my mind keeps going back to the CAT CT660 on-highway truck that was a disaster.
The other thing that puzzles me if CAT does want to market the truck for on-highway use. That’s going to be a tough goal after 2027 EPA emissions.
250 GRAND
BUILT LIKE A
1 TON GMC. ONLY BETTER LOOKING
CATERPILAR?
who dat?
Needs a long bed.
This truck will run about 60k starting off with
Loaded with a steering wheel
I have seen Ford ask over 100,000k for their shit
I would like to purchase one for my business if not several .
Depending on the price.
Parts made in Mexico
And will it get a right hand drive? Or just US market?
Caterpillar stands out for it's global operations. They will most probably test the Cat Pickup Truck by launching it off firstly in the US market and then globally.
I called Finning and they told me this was a scam not true
I will never wear comfortable shoes again.
I won't one like now black and yellow or black and lime green with the American flag on it.!!!
Clickbait. Anyone thinking Cat is making a pickup hasn't thought this through. It cost Tesla four billion to build a factory to make a new truck. Ford, GM, Ram, Toyota, Nissan already have a footprint in a very competitive market. Unless they slapped their name on a Ford, Cat would have to sell these trucks for 200k to break even. Cat already said they weren't building class 4 road engines anymore so why would they invest billions on a high risk venture and why hasn't anyone heard one word about it before this? Like I said, If there is a CAT pickup, it won't be a real Caterpillar.
How much?
The price of CAT Pickup truck has not yet leaked online
I'm guessing around $200K starting MSRP.
if you have to ask, you can't afford
🇺🇲👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇺🇲
1st the cost if a hindered k for get it
