I bought a kit on Amazon with 4 lights, soft box, umbrellas, stands and green screen for less than $200. But yes, a piece of green cloth and a window works fine too. Don’t wait to create. Get in with what you have. Content is king. Thanks for your inspiring videos.

Very informative video about green screen. I've already tried it with a green bed cover. I stretched these on the top and bottom of a door by closing the door. 3 meters from the door is a large window for the light. I have to do it in the morning because the light is on the north side. But it works, and that's the most important thing

I'm a newbie when it comes to chromakeying, but I have this idea. I've not had a lot of luck with green screen, but I have blue screen on the other side. I'm going to try the blue side. I think I might have better success because blue may not cast as much shadow. I'll see. Thanks for the video.

You can use any solid colour for your back screen however you still need to light it properly! The reason green colour is used is that there are very little green colour in human beings! It also makes your wardrobe easier but if you use a green screen and dress with some green clothes you are going to have problems, the same goes for other clours!

Big problem comes when you actually want to light your presenter to better match the composite image - you simply can't do that with one big soft light.

I love your production which looks so professional from a set so simple and even less than basic! I have a 9’ x 15’ green screen and have struggled with uneven lighting. My setup is in my office and I’m planning on turning it around to face the double French doors entry with 1’ wide glass panels on each side bringing the total of glass to 10’ wide by almost 7’ high. I’m in Los Angeles where sunlight is plenty. Question is, will I have enough light if the green screen is about 25’ away from these doors and behind two desks? If not, I have a ring light to compliment the sunlight, would that be ok? Please advise. Thank you!

If u use the same room for green screen again and again it is better to paint or use a ceiling mounted curtain
