FOR NUMBER 8 PLEASE READ... Just summon Stitch and use Thundaga over and over. equip as many ethers as possible (set to shortcut so you can use on the fly). WATCH YOUR MP AND DO NOT LET IT RUN OUT because sometimes stich doesn't refill it in time so when you're down to one more cast use an ether and immediately start spamming again. I got to 99 hits on my second try doing it this way.

Gavin Easter if you attack quickly he gets knocked up pretty high. I couldn't see him 80% of the time because he was so high up. You just really have to spam it hard, and he'll be knocked up high enough to use an ether if needed.

However... just a Hint about Mushroom 8 (The Hardest, as you said): There is an easier way.
If you equip Fantasia Limit on Donald and Auto Limit too, you may combo the Mushroom in air with Berserk Effect as long as you can until Mana regenerates. Once it does, simply activate Donald's Limit. Donald will also attack Number #8 and so will you... again with Berserk effect, since Limit deplets all your mana.

tip for watching your magic: there's an option to turn off MP charge on individual magic spells; by disabling MP charge, using spell is disabled if it would overload your MP.

i got number 8 in one try...
FOR NUMBER 8, Ive created a perfect formula. Make sure to have beserk charge equipped. Have your summon gauge at 9 bars. There are plenty of videos on easy ways to do that. Once you've done this, summon Genie, set him to Final on the drive selection, and cure. Then, as soon as you knock the enemy in the air, attack with X or square. When you knock the lil bugger away, use the command at the bottom to initiate a final attack with genie. This will catch the enemy. Repeat attacking, etc. GOOD LUCK!
This is probably one of the best guides around here on CZcams. So thanks for that! However, when challenging Mushroom No. 8, abusing Horizontal Slash combined with Berserk Charge should suffice. So Master Form isn't really that necessary but whatever floats your boat should be fine!
If you're going the Master Form route on number 8, positioning is actually kid of important. Sora moves around a lot whilst attacking, and the mushroom goes flying periodically; managing how far Sora and the mushroom can actually move in the space is the key to finishing. Or you could, I guess, use Stitch and Thundaga.

For number 8 go into Wisdom Form and equip Berserk Charge and Finishing Plus. Use thundaga until you run out of MP. The finisher knocks the mushroom higher so having two finishers helps a lot! Then just using the normal shooting ability until your MP recharges and switch back to Thundaga. The hardest part is transitioning between the two.
Also be sure to stay far enough away that you can hit the mushroom with shoot, but close enough that you don't unlock from the target.
Very good guide. Also if anyone is having trouble with number 8, move your left stick toward the direction of the mushroom guy. Idk why but it seems like Sora can actually move in the air slightly in Master Form.
HOW DO YOU BEAT 5 EACH TIME A DO IT 19 SECS
ultima heartless If you has Fenrir (keyblade you get from beating Sephiroth) then it becomes much easier. Unequip all your combo pluses and equip negative combo aswell. Pretty much anything that makes you perform your finisher instantly. Then, go into Limit Form and you'll always perform a powerful finisher no matter what. You'll always do it under 10 secs this way.
I did that but he lived till 13-19 secs
You can also go into final form with the bond of flame and spam firaga

Couple of additions for fellow mushroom challengers: on number 5 (Agrabah Cave one) Final Form + Firaga + Bond of Flame or + Thundaga + Photon Debugger works just as well. This one is the best for farming Tranquility materials.
Also, in general, for those that require Berserk Charge, just be sure to remove all MP Haste and MP Rage abilities before going in.

#8. I did it by going in with Wisdom, Berserk Charge Ability and Fenrir. Pull the mushroom out, then use Thunder on him continuously until your MP runs out and Berserk kicks in. Then shoot like no tomorrow until your MP comes back on. Then repeat the Thunder process and shoot again. I got in the 90's with this method after trying the Master method too many times and not getting the timing right. It may take you a few tries to figure it out, but it was yielded better results on my side.
I've looked through as many guides as I could find but this is the first one that actually helped me beat them all. Thank you :)

Number 8 is the hardest one in everyone's opinion
For #8, you can try Wisdom form with fatal crest equipped. Start by using heal first b4 doing anything then when you throw it up in the air just start shooting but back up a little otherwise it will just drop. When your MP recovers spam lightning till your MP runs out. When MP runs out switch to shooting again repeat and rinse. Finishing plus makes this strategy very effective when using thundaga. I got 99 hits out of this. Also keep your distance in mind else this will be pretty difficult.
For those who have trouble on Mushroom IX Just equip Ultima Weapon and Fenrir Keyblades while in Final Form To defeat that nasty mushroom I tryed it it worked.
At number 6 I recommend master form (the yellow one) because it deals more than one Thundaga when using it.
After 2 days of doing nothing but Mushroom VIII... I FINALLY got it! The thing is.. I legit got it with regular Sora. I had all of my regular ground, air, combo plus abilities and I just equipped Berserk and Fatal Crest. I went up to the mushroom facing it towards the train, used up my MP via Cure, then just went back and forth between regular X button combo and square for Horizontal Slash. Somehow I ended up hitting the barrier near the train, and it turned me around all the way back to the bush left of the entrance to the tower (imagine you facing the entrance), and hit the barrier there before he could run away. Long story short, I managed to get 96 hits when he finally flew away from me!
Thank you so much for this. One thing I wanted to mention that worked best for me is not pressing in any direction while hitting No. 8 and to just button mash X. That seemed to work best.
And then they all went back to heaven. Makes me miss Demyx.
I used a different format for Mushroom 8, I had sora get equip Berzerk Charge and the Fenrir Keyblade, and get sora to low health and enable "Auto Master", hit the shrooms with Horizontal Slashes in the the air, and when the shoom Launches Up, hit it with an aerial spiral, towards the end of the month charge around 65-70 hits the shroom might launch a little away from you, so I recommend at the right moment, Press Triangle and Auto Master makes switching to Master Form Easy, then spam thunder! And any additional necessary hits when thunder runs out but you should be over 85 before it runs out.
Hope this helps someone, upon thinking of this strat it worked on my third time I think. ^~^
Use wisdom form for the mushroom in front of Cid's tower. Have beserk on and thunder hot keyed. To start out you spam thunder to get in shooting distance and get it in the air. Then unleash shoot until mp charge is done.
Noticed that you can pretty much just spam Berserk till about 60 hits then the mushroom starts to move after so many hits so you have to stay close to him and make sure you are ready to move in that direction
for number 8 just take everything off. the only abilities you need equipped are Negative Combo, Horizontal Slash, and Berserker Charge.
Equip Fatal Claw Keyblade then use curaga to drain your mp.
lock on and mash x, after about 30 hits mash square.

What I just tried with No. 8 (and it worked!) was do the same as in the video, just mash the X button without being locked on like you're reflecting Xemnas's lasers, then continue with thunder mashing when your magic is back :)
my way for number 8: equip fatal crest and use wisdom form... once you start, use many thundagas you can, and once your mp starts to reload, keep shooting until your mp come back, and again use thundaga. Or you can use the ability Berserk Charge and equip Circle of life to use its MP haste

Trick to Mushroom 1: Use fenrir, and wisdom form equip all your combo+ but NOT your combo-. The tactic i used was waiting the exact moment the mushroom was behind Sora and instantaniously used the "special dash" (not the normal one) and proceed to use the final attack of the wisdom form (it deals 9 hits in short time). i got 72 after 3 tries of noticing it.
Wow. Managed to do #10 in 38.16 seconds...

for #8 what works for me is just using normal sora, taking off all mp haste, having the fatal crest, and using curaga right before starting, and keep pressing square for horizontal slash.
so i've tried all of these strategies on mushroom 12 and cannot beat it, I am one away and can never seem to get that last one
For number 9 you can also use wisdom form and stay close to it! I think it's easier!

No.8 is quite easy put on horizontal slash and spam it with the Fatal Crest or Beserk ability.DO NOT USE MASTER FORM IT WILL SCREW YOU UP! You could also try wisdom form as well.

For number 4, I managed to find an even better way to do it. This method got me all the way to 100 (the max you can get on this one). Basically, I did the following: equipped negative combo, magnet burst, and combo master, then step one was to jump, and try not to jump away from the mushrooms, then step two was to attack twice (almost guaranteed to use magnet burst this way because of combo master and negative combo), and step 3 was to be prepared to cast fire upon landing if necessary.
For the mushroom V in agrabah, equip potion, in final form, stay close at him and use the potion on you this cause damage and dies in 3 - 4 seconds, you can get S Rank to this way :P
You make this look so easy. Mushroom Number 3, 6, 8, 10, and 12 are so frustrating.
For number 11. NO NO NO NO NO!!!! That was INCREDIBLY LUCKY! The Damn thing always jumps over me or to me XD Im gonna take your advice about unequipping the combo plus. You were still lucky; pout face.
For Mushroom #5 All you have to do is use Ultima as Main Weapon & Final Crest as Final Weapon, drain all MP before you start duel. As soon as it starts, jump at him and relentlessly button mash X.. i have a record of 3.97 seconds! :)
I don't know which is tougher: Defeating the Data Replica Organization, or completing the Mushroom XIII Challenges.
7 is easier then you think make sure you un equip anything that give you MP haste and make sure you let him fly on the finisher, then cast cure and you can catch him as he falls
For # VIII I equipped Fenrir and dropped my MP Haste as well as air combo as low as I could. Much easier. He was in the air with me the whole time during Berserk
There's an even faster way for number 5. Buy a shit ton of Potions, equip one in each of your item slot and set it as a shortcut. Use Final and spam Potion right next to the mushroom.
for mushroom 5 go in final form equip photon debugger and bond by flame and keep using thunder and fire attacks

#5 i prefer final form spam firaga. depending on positioning you can probably rip his life in 5 seconds
#10 go into final form and get as much air combo+. when you see the shroom jump up and spam on it. now make sure youre under it though or you will hit the side ones. (should take 3 times). will get you finished in ~45 seconds
#12 you dont need berserker charge but will make it easier. you just shoot once and wait for another one to spawn. they seem to spawn near each other so keep that in mind

The XIII Mushrooms: THE STRUGGLE IS REAL.
I've had the hardest, most torturing and frustrating struggle in my entire life as a gamer and KH Fan. I LOVE mushrooms in real life, but SE decided to make me HATE them in the game. Same with Candy Crush, I love chocolate, but Candy Crush made me HATE it like hell!! lol
So far got a few of their Challenges done and just achieved No. III Challenge with the Score of 493 today.
I find that using the Ultima and Fenrir with the Berserk Charge Ability equipped (if you have it available) makes Mushroom #8 a little easier. Unless Keyblade length doesn't matter and it's all just in my head, lol.
Final form doesn't need range it's pretty much Anti Form+
I like the victory dances you do :P
For number five you can just go into final form and have potions in quick command and just repeatedly use them I think I did it in like 5 sec
thier is another way to beat number 9 by using wisdom form and circle around the mushroom and keep shooting

For number 5 I went into master form and caster thundaga until the six second point and then just did a basic X combo
Some took 1 try. Some took 3 or more. A little frustrating at times, but I did it.
For some reason, even though i've completed all of them, when I go to the great maw, mushroom V is the only one standing there cheering...
I'll keep watching this video until I get it right.

Just activate berserk charge & horizontal slahe, Use all you magic, activate the mushroom, JUMP! ans star to press X & square, One & one, and make it so faaaast... and with the stick point the direction where the thing is moving! ;)

If you go into final form and use firsts with fire boosts and bond of flame you can do 5 in 3 second like me
#8 won't be a problem. I use the ball in Twilight Town as practice. Cure,Master Form, Cure. Repeat. I bet you could get 999. Trust me. I know these things.

I REALLY need help with number 10! I equipped all the abilities but its just not possible to kill him fast enough. Also on the second run, how did you do another finisher? it would really help me out.

How many negative combos did you have to beat no. 1? I tried that circle jump with the attack which did a air combo.
I tried #8 for 40 minutes and can't complete it. Every time I get to 60 or so the mushroom launches away from me every time.
