  • It's often best to focus on one cycling goal. Ideally, you start training 3 to 5 months prior to this goal. Do you have more time? Then you can opt for a build-up schedule or an improvement schedule. You could also deviate from your cycling training schedule. You then enter a so-called sub-goal.
