Have never heard of this guitar. I have been looking for ibanez, epiphones, guild and yamaha electro acoustics in the same price range because they are prestige brands, but this james negligam model seems to sound way much clear and brighter than all of them

Thanks man. They don't seem to be that popular but seem to make really good guitars though. I bought mine second hand, mint condition and plays really well. I have the ERZ-OM version, just acoustic, not electro
The company is based in Belgium, have a Cigar Box Guitar from them that I was really impressed with so getting an acoustic from them I recently ordered.
Расскажите немного про данную модельку в плане комфорта)Затекает ли рука при долгой игре с такой формой,хорошо ли читаются нижние струны(не заглушает ли их плотный бас),долго ли пальцы к Элексировским струнам привыкали)Собрался покупать эту модель,но в раздумьях)Заранее спасибо!
Гитара очень хорошая, играть очень конфортно, дека массив ели, гриф плоский, мне нравилась Только скучновато выглядела, так сделал чуть изящнее подстаку и наклеил логотип J.N. А к стунам Elixir привыкать не надо, это потом ко всем другим надо привыкать, потому что на других польцы липнут, а на Эликсире тихо и легко скользят и стуны звучат.

I'm still a beginner and I've been looking for a guitar for me, and I saw from chance at ebay, an auction where the guitar was James Neligan "EZR-DCFI" just before the end of the aukion and I won it for 150 euro. Have seen that the new, for 600 euro and in the offer, for 450 is sold. BUT, I have not found a single rating for this model. Does anyone know if the guitar is really good? Or should I resell and buy another? THX
+Mario Rionard James Neligan are good quality guitars with solid tops, your's is cedar wood top. If it is confortable to play, sounds good, then you have to keep it, if not resale it. Good guitars, even used still have a value and good price. But every guitar needs some works to do to make it sound beter. Good luck !!!
Hi! I have this guitar and want to restring it. I am not sure however what strings are on it at the moment or which ones to put on. Also is it okay to clean the guitar with lemon oil whilst restringing? Thanks
Hello, I had "Elixir Phosphor Bronze Nanoweb .010" strings on my JN. Use lemon oil only on not painted guitar parts as fingerboard and bridge once a year to prevent dry up. In Lithuania i'm using lemon oil before winter heating season. You have to control humidity (+- 50%) inside guitar case because solid spruce top may dry up and crack or bend. Good luck !!!
