I was in Pratumnak in January for 4 days, at the Aiyara Hotel. I went to the cafe next door the " Co & Cafe" the do aussie style flat white which is a better version of a latte, try it, its good. Try Arins cafe around the corner from Soi 6, also the Green Cafe across the road from Arins. I had lunch at Arins on 3 days breakfast twice each day at Co& Cafe and Green Cafe, Co & Cafe has the best coffee.
I like a good steak with breakfast. A couple of eggs over easy so the yoke is runny to dip in, or put over some hashbrowns, a bit of toast and a large glass of OJ.
Wow, that place really put's the "cake" in pancakes! 🤣🤣

The service was impeccable. Both dishes were brought to the table at the same time to eat amazing timing by the chef. So much food impossible to eat all of it.
I understand why there's usually line up at the cafe.

Picked up visa this morning in Jomtien , 30 days extra .
Biked to Na Chom Thian and on way back the battery was gone despite a 3 power indication that was left ....grrrrr....
Feelin' much better with my cold ....that pharmacist in soi 5 has helped me every time pretty good and knows her job
Pancakes in the morning with maple sirop , tried it once and found it a bit heavy for my stomach.
Soi 4 indeed more quiet . But if I would ever consider to stay here permanent , it would rather be the area of VN Residence . I think that area is less likely to be developed also due to the near Royal location.
And Tarka is still on my list of to do.

Might go tomorrow ,went to one of your recommended restaurants today vien garden what a fabulous meal the best one so far on my holiday.The chef/owner wa 11:48 s so welcoming and tentative definitely going again. Unbelievable price for the quality.
VN is one of our favourite restaurants...he had been closed since December and only opened a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully we will get back there next week 🙏🙏

Let me know how you get on, my American friend didn't rate Tigglebitties, this I have to say, although maybe slightly more expensive, was first class 🙏🙏
@DavidAndNong went to Tigglebitties this morning. They had a good crowd for 8am. I had the house breakfast 2 with pancakes (waffles and French toast available) and 1 sausage patty (2 links also available), 2 eggs however you like and either juice, milk, coffee or tea.
If you ever went to pastrami on rye, very much like their pancake breakfast.
It was a very good breakfast at ฿200, especially the sausage patty, very tasty.
I would go there again no worries.

Real Maple syrup is expensive. Most restaurants in the states use an extract called "Mapeleine" mixed with corn syrup.

That's very expensive for Thailand
Not at all, an English breakfast can cost between 100 and 250 baht, some with very dubious ingredients. This was top end, 310 for a steak breakfast and 240 for the great pancakes, maple syrup, bacon sausage potato and eggs was, I think good value. I understand that Thai businesses are happy to make small profits, especially outside of town, but for a foreign owner and his wife, some reasonable profit has to be factored in. 🙏🙏

These Thai birds certainly live in a bubble when they meet there sponsor that is for sure embarrassing to say the least.i say if the shoe was on the other foot there is know way these Thai birds would be eating what they eat for the simple reason being they would have to pay basically they just take liberties
My Wife, makes WAY more than me and you will normally find us dining at a lower price point than this. When she goes out with her friends, she tends to spend more (of her own money) than I spend on our meals. You can't use one paintbrush for all of the Thai girls 🙏🙏
