- Pattaya Breakfast. A hot topic and often a great debate! So we have asked our viewers to nominate who in their opinion has the best Pattaya Breakfast. After a lot of votes we now have the 5 most nominated restaurants who offer the best Pattaya Breakfast. Cheap Charlies, Hideaway, Hungry Hippo, Retox Game On, I-Rovers Sports Bar.
Now all we want you to do is vote for who you think out of the Top 5 Pattaya Breakfast nominees that we have showcased is the best in your opinion. We will run this until the end of October 2020 and then we will select one of our viewers and invite them to a breakfast at the winning restaurant on us!

Hideaway has various breakfasts which are;
Jumbo English Breakfast for 160 baht
English Breakfast for 125 baht
Jumbo American Breakfast for 165 baht
and American Breakfast for 140 baht
Right now Hideaway are giving away 3 free Breakfasts per day!
After you have your breakfast you will have to pull a pink ball from the bucker to be the winner!

Cheap Charlies amazed me, in November of last year, with the variety and volume of tasty meals and beverages coming out of a kitchen I couldn't even see. I sat at the open-air front of the place, with an entertaining view of Soi Buakhao. Still one my few best memories in Pattaya.

Hideaway was in my opinion the best (and best value) for breakfast...A mountain of food for low money. They also had an extremely friendly and prompt staff and were more than willing to make substitutions. Good videos.

Cheap Charlie's is my number one with good quality food and a very friendly professional well delivered service, going that extra mile for the 11 baht tip I leave them, cheap Charlie Peter lol
It definitely has a good name in the foodie world here, and when we went to make this video you can see why.
I rovers for me, well presented, looks nicely cooked and not swimming in oil, some variety on the plate and decent portions, despite being 20 baht more than Hungry Hippo, I think it is the best of the 5. Great vid, I'm bloody hungry now.

All look much the same, quite a difference in price between them, I've only eaten at Cheap Charlies & not the others, used to eat at Retox Sports bar at 99baht, but thats long gone. Great video, once again, quality!

Definitely iRover first, the baht buster is awesome, everything served hot, and cooked well, not to mention super fast, oh and the coffee is very nice too.
Agreed, very good value and decent food.
Quality, presentation, taste and value for your baht, 1st place goes to the Hideaway, but the Hungry Hippo is a close second.

Well I have had a breakfast and other meals in all of those places, for me the best breakfast is the Hideaway Bar Soi 15, I feel the quality and presentation is just that little bit better than the others, Retox a close second, I Rovers, Hungry Hippo and Cheap Charlies.

They all look pretty good, tastewise and cooking standard can't say. Pricewise not a lot in it, for me though I would have to go i rovers solely for the fried bread.

We do get a great selection to choose from here.
Had multi breakfasts all over Pattaya including the 5 mentioned & in my opinion CHEAP CHARLIES way above the rest not just in presentation & quality/quantity but including the service from the staff, another plus side is there coffee EXCELLENT .....

one thing that has got better since I first went to Pattaya in the early 80s is the choice and quality of the breakfast it used to be dire I stayed upstairs in the retox last year and enjoyed the breakfasts .

That's a pretty good line up there, I've always been a Retoc fan, but at 179 baht I think it's a bit too expensive, I know I shouldn't compare it to the UK, but that's £4 for a breakfast, way too much.
Hungry Hippo looks the best value, but the place does get busy. I reckon the Hungry hippo wins this one.
I guess we will find out at the end of the month haha, although early signs say I-Rovers is the leader
Travel out of Pattaya and hit the Pig and Whistle in Jomtien -- awesome breakfast. Whenever I stay in Jomtien that's where I go. Nice comfy chairs, British newspapers, BBC / Sky news on.

Have eaten there myself many times, years ago I lived above for a while and agree, food is TOP NOTCH!
There used to be alot of buffet style breakfasts one was the Apex Pattaya hotel 2nd road not bad for the price.

Gotta say that Simple Simons in Jomtien (near the visa building) was a highlight for me, beautiful breakfast sarnies.
...Also thought the Retox breakfast was well worth the money. ....What happened to it...? the one of soi lenke, I heard it had been knocked down...? always thought it was doing well.

Retox in Lengkee I think, not sure, had a battle over increased rent and decided to call it a day. But don't quote me on this as I have not heard it direct from any of the owners or management.

As I’ve mentioned before it’s about quality more than quantity for me. Also presentation - too many cafes just slop breakfasts on a plate ( cheap Charlie’s ). 3 sausages?... too much of the same.... for me, iRovers just have it bang on, just the quantity of everything, always cooked perfectly, the place is spotlessly clean, great service & in order to get there, or afterwards, you have to pass many a massage parlour should you need to release any tension. IROVERS 1st, Retox 2nd, Hungry Hippo 3rd.

Without watching it back I can say yes 3 definitely
Not a real breakfast person, But i did have it once at Robin Hoods and it wasn't too bad. Kiss restaurant at Jomtien was my regular eatery.
Remember Kiss, was always nice food....
Out of all 5 "The Hideaway " obviously has more bang for the Baht. ; )

Nice shout out there mate and put me right on the spot. Well I live over on the east side so for me in all honesty is Tropical on Soi Khao Noi . Awesome large breakfast 220BHT and is great quality. But the vote was taken by the majority so I went with the flow.
Tried Hungry Hippo and Cheap Charlies, and have to say that CC has volume going for it only, because HH was way better, though the Sportsman Pattaya Beach road 13 and Robinhood are preferred.

i-rovers, but i guess i did not say why. 1) Lots of sports, even all American sports, from NFL, PPV Boxing, UFC, NBA, and if it is not on, ask the dude. 2) Breakfast is not bad at all from the big British Breakfast to American (pancakes and American bacon), substitute all you want, i usually get the American breakfast with just bacon and the friend toast 3) Lots of atmosphere, watch the people, watch the girls that work there, watch the girls that other guys bring in (or ur own girl) 4) Sit outside, Sit inside 5) Great Aircon 6) Open 24 hours 7)Great Internet reception 8)Cheap Charlies are welcomed, did I miss anything?
