Fly Fish Food - Sport
Thanks Che'ech Guevera! Leading the fly tying Revolution.
Great fly! Tied a few up and tried them on my local streams in Victoria, Australia yesterday. Very effective! Very confident takes from the fish. This has just earned a permanent place in my fly box, thanks!
Great way to cut the CDC! I have incorporated the cdc butts into the pattern but cut it off square. Thanks for the great idea. All the best, Sean
Beautiful fly, going to have to tie some up for here in CO
When you use CDC - what floatant should one use ? Seems I heard that should not use Gink when using CDC…
Curtis, show us the technique you used to taper the chenille.
Caddis and tacos. 👍👍👍
can i have the link for this chenille
Sic. So sic.
What floatant to you apply due to the CDC?
Loon makes Aquel and Lochsa which are both great. Gink is really good, too.
Loon LOCHSA is amazing on cdc flies.
Take cdc oil
Floatant on a CDC? don't!
Yes every time. Culo de Pato plus floatant is crazy delicious.
I used to think that too. Not anymore! Loon LOCHSA improves the floatation of all cdc flies.
