    Great fly! Tied a few up and tried them on my local streams in Victoria, Australia yesterday. Very effective! Very confident takes from the fish. This has just earned a permanent place in my fly box, thanks!

    Great way to cut the CDC! I have incorporated the cdc butts into the pattern but cut it off square. Thanks for the great idea. All the best, Sean

    When you use CDC - what floatant should one use ? Seems I heard that should not use Gink when using CDC…

      Loon makes Aquel and Lochsa which are both great. Gink is really good, too.

      Yes every time. Culo de Pato plus floatant is crazy delicious.

      I used to think that too. Not anymore! Loon LOCHSA improves the floatation of all cdc flies.
