If you love God as much as the chosen be certain you compare every single thing in the show to the actual Bible. Many things written into the show contradict what the Bible clearly describes including Jesus' actual words being changed. Dangerous territory when you alter God's word and teach that to others

If I interpreted your statement incorrectly, then I apologize in advance. That's exactly what this man was saying in the vid, I think. Let the Israelites be the example of how not to be like this.
Try actually Living the Show. Don't just be a spectator. Go to church, preferably Catholic, as it's theological foundation is from the founding of Christ Church. Not Martin Luthers'. Not the myriad of failing and heretical churches. Go to RCIA. Quit watching TV. Start living Christ out loud. You ain't gonna get the Body and Blood of Christ no where else but the Catholics and you'll have peace and not some TV show serving as your altar of worship. I actually can't recommend the Chosen. Cheep imitation of Christ. It also didnt pay for your salvation.

I love listening to your teachings. I've heard and read the story of the fig tree, but never put all the pieces together. Even when watching biblical movies, I didn't put it together. Thank you Brandon, for explaining this. Now I can read and watch movies with a new understanding. I sure hope that Dallas includes this story into The Chosen because I'm sure there are many people, like me, that didn't put the puzzle pieces together to get the whole picture. It's so important. This explained a point I have always wondered about. Knowing that there are two harvests on fig trees is key to understanding why Jesus cursed the tree. The Bible is the most amazing thing ever. Studying it for the past 50 years, reading it over and over, the way it is woven so perfectly from the beginning to the end, I am always able to glean more from it. It is a never-ending source of truth. Thank you

I hope the people in the comments actively share the Gospel with unbelievers. We have many refugees coming into this country from traditionally hard to access countries. But they need Jesus too. Some will reject, some will receive. Our job is to be obedient. Results are up to God.
Hard to access? The RCC is universal. There is a diocese in every corner of the world with its own bishop and where the bishop is there is the RCC.

Absolutely, thank you for mentioning that! We are to shine the light of Jesus Christ for people who may never look for him. They may not listen to you talk about Jesus but they will see the light of Christ in you and that will open the door. Don’t underestimate your light. Ask the Lord to make opportunities for you and he will do it. He has done so for me. And there is nothing like doing the Lords will and knowing that you are not only blessing the people you speak to and pray for but you are blessing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I just saw the Chosen Season 4 at the theatre - all 8 episodes - and I swear it ends with his initial entry into Jerusalem.
I don't recall seeing any of these scenes (yet).
If you look at the characters, this season is from a different show… the character of Jesus is not Jonathan Roomie…so the depiction of the scene from the Bible is from a different movie… the passage, is from scripture..
It’s from the Gospel of John movie. Highly recommended because it’s literally verse by verse.

A curse from Jesus is a blessing to a believer. Like he overturned the tables and cursed their financial prosperity by destroying the market, he destroyed the barrier to worship him thus blessed them with eternal life instead of money which kills. He flipped their situation towards truth. When he curses, it always is on the evil within ,not on his spirit that resides in the believer. God can't go against himself.
This was the focus of my pastor’s Palm Sunday sermon! Wonderful message!

For example, there is nothing in scripture to indicate that "Little John" had a disability, etc. But that story does tell an important scriptural lesson. Even Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" that he prayed 3 times for it's removal. But God said his grace was sufficient. It kept Paul humble.

I love your videos bc as much as I've read the Bible, there is still always more to learn and especially to tie together. (and always will be!) I'm doing a study on Jeremiah now, but IDK if I"d have connected those 2 without this or the Enduring Word app (or perhaps the study referencing it) - not to that chapter yet. There's such depth and substance to the Bible, and so many pieces throughout that tie together. Your videos are fascinating and so full of historocal context, and the Bible Project and the Enduring Word app are helpful also. Thank you. I think this will be in Season 5 tho bc it's a Holy Week event. And Dallas doesn't shy away from too much! What movie or video were those scenes taken from?
