Honestly, I'm in tears watching this. I love seeing how Gaius went from being a hardened soldier, to being a firm believer in Jesus. When he hugged Peter, I mildly chuckled at his softened heart. When he hugged his family, I was deeply moved. But when he hugged Jesus, to comfort Him and thank Him for helping his family, it totally broke me. So I love watching these scenes about Gaius' spiritual journey with Jesus.
Amen great series enjoy watching again and again 😢😅
@@joyfasciana3538me too!
Gaius is one of my favorites! I love watching his conversion❤
It's a beautiful depiction of conversion.
AMEN great mouve. 😢
I can't even fathom what it would have been like to hug Jesus.
One day we will experience that
I may not have experienced Jesus hugging me but He did hold my hand in a dream that until now I get tears whenever I’m reminded of it.
or give him birth
I am with you it blows my mind every time I watch this
Just to have been there
You will in heaven, every day forever
It broke me when Gaius came to Jesus, seeing Him burdened with worry and knowing what His path will lead Him, embraces Him with a heartfelt hug in love and gratitude for everything He has done and everything he is about to face for the sake of all of us.
I LOVE this. Gaius has amazing growth. I love the fact that after converting to believing in Jesus, he walks around the shops to buy things and pays the merchants, who seem surprised that he's doing so. Probably the only roman soldier that the town likes to see and talk to since he treats them with respect.
That was a great moment! If I do a future video with Gaius in it, I'd love to include that part.
So true
Gaius' moment with Jesus, calling Him Lord, n proving himself to have more faith than all of Israel, is easily in my top couple moments of this entire series, may even be my favorite... probably a tie between this one, n Jesus calling mary by name... oh n maybe also with nicodemus on the roof... its so hard cuz there are so dang many!!
So true, it really is the greatest Story ever told!!
Amen!
Same those are by far my favorite moments in the show!❤
Lord just say the word and my soul will heal. Amen
42:39 is so far my favourite part of all I've seen in this series. Gaius blows out the candles on his altars like "Y'all are fired. I found the real deal!"
Love some German grit! He has transformed from German boy to soldier to Centurion to Primi to Preator to...Believer! The portrayal is touching and riveting, and...real.
AS REAL AS TOMORROWS SUNLIGHT,I LIKE the way GAIUS took JESUS OUT OF DESPAIR and his reality of what he must do,it confirmed the LORD OF WHY HE MUST SUFFER SO MUCH,WE BECAME WORTHY OF HIS SACRIFICE,JESUS SAVED ME FROM 3 BAD CAR WRECKS, then 4 months ago,he saved my wife from a crash with a giant trailer,THE highway patrolman just shook his head when he looked at me and said HOW? I SAID DON'T TRY TO FIGURE IT OUT,JESUS IS MERCIFUL AND LOVES US ALL,even while we are at our lowest of defiling ourselves,HE LOVES US,HE AND I WEPT two grown men on the side of the road,me filled with wonderment of how she survived,JESUS SAVES
"How do you think I survive the other 16 hours of the day?"
"😅 I honestly have no idea"
Always makes me chuckle!😊
I enjoy watching the exchanges between Matthew and Gaius. Deep down inside, this Roman soldier did care about this young tax collector, in a brotherly or even fatherly way ("He's used to eating well"). They are both profoundly impacted by Jesus now! Matthew cries and Gaius hugs now. Wow!
To see Gaius talking to Simon about the cistern to distract him from marital problems is so relatable. Just then a flash of lightning streaked past me from my 15th floor apartment window!. It was followed by the loudest thunder clap I'd ever heard! I turned around and saw an immense electrical white flash from a cloud to the ground. I instantly said, Thank You Lord for your protection and for The Chosen!!
It is really powerful to see Gaius' journey towards faith in Christ summarised like this. Thank you for uploading.
Gaius and Matthew is actually the number one reason I like watching the Chosen - their storyline is so amazing.
I have tears flowing for the beauty of this. Thank you Yeshua for loving us! Praise and glory to the Almighty Yehuah and our Savior Yeshua, the Christ!
Through the series I would’ve never expected Gaius to have such an impact on the episodes especially his going on his knees before Jesus. A Roman centurion bowing before a common Jew was unheard of. But need and faith made it possible. His and his wife’s joy of the children healed and happy and his blowing out the candles of the multiple idols Romans worshipped was profound.
I just love ❤️ the scene where Gaius hugs Jesus and how much love and emotions that is shown. So genuine and true. Blessings to all and Thank you for this. Reminding the way it would have happened back then. ❤❤❤God bless.
Amen!
Selah! It’s one of my favorite part. I cry every time I watched that part.
The actor's role of Gaius is nothing short of a series of powerful performances, exploding in a brilliant character portrayal of a hardened, confident soldier becoming a humble, subservient believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I've watched some of the key scenes more than once, and let's just say I need to keep some Kleenex handy when I do! :))
oh yes!..i totally agree with "the kleenex" thing! lol...i had a roll of paper towels!...God bless you!!🙏👍🏻😇💜
Jesus is the greatest gift we have ever received. He died for us, we should live for him
I’m weeping every time I see the birthing of Gailus’ faith. Sooo moving!
That look on Gaius face when Jesus asks to say goodbye to his mother..I wondered for a moment if it made him remember saying goodbye to his own mother as a boy in Germany.
I recommend you the fanfic Iter by ani-maniac494, it's well written and it shows in a very cool way the possible thoughts of Gaius in those scenes (including the mater mea thing), and a possible Germanic background for him, his past, with historical data helping the fanfic. I think you will like it! 😊❤🎉
Brilliant! In a word Brilliant.
And best of all, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and the miracles He did back then He is still doing today.
I used to work in a gas station and would pray for all the customers and staff.
One testimony I remember that I was reminded of when watching this video from the Chosen was this amazing one...
A Muslim man used to come in every day to buy a newspaper. But one day, I came in looking really sad.
I asked him what was the matter, and he told me that his five year old neice was dying at home of an insurable cancer.
He told me that the doctors were unable to help her anymore and sent her home to die.
I asked him her name and said that I would pray for her.
A few days later he came back and I enquired about the girl and he said that "you're never going to believe this but she just jumped out of bed" the parents were so shocked that they rushed her to hospital and these same Muslim doctors said that she had had a miracle!
Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever!!!
WOW!!! Awesome!!!
That's amazing! God is so good, may you continue to be a beacon of light and God's Word ❤
@dennisblair3186 forgot to mention I was working at that petrol station in Leeds uk, and the little girl was 2,000 miles away in Iran!
their hug at the end is my favorite part of the show
Next to Matthew, Gaius is my favorite character as far as his development and how He's worked into the story
I love this show. This gives me hope for myself and those I worry for.
I too loved watching the transformation of Gaius. It brings tears to my eyes. I was HOPING he would get saved.......
Gaius makes The Chosen very special as he is very sincere n his conversion is great to follow Jesus n calling Him Lord
I was in tears almost the entire time 🙏✝️🕊️ I have watched all the seasons at least 3 times and still tearing up 🙏✝️🕊️ Jesus Christ is my Lord and God raised Him from the dead, I love Him with all my heart and my soul and my mind and my strength 🙏✝️🕊️ If I had only one wish I would wish to be reborn during Jesus time to witness all of it and possibly try to get a hug from him🙏✝️🕊️❤️
Me too. For me it’s tears of gratitude for Our Messiah’s sacrifice for our sins or failures and the understanding of God’s great love for us!
Me too. I humorously call it a happy tears show. Tears are not bad. Jesus fills that hole in your heart as I was told by a reformed drug addict. Seriously, because I don't like what Western Medicine can do, ie side effects. Absolute truth. God bless everyone. ✝️🙏😊💜
no words to express the Holy Spirit moving in all scenes and the embrace of Jesus in the End by the Roman Centurion .
I am overwhelmed with profound awe at the reality of The Chosen to bring out the Person of Jesus Christ of Nazareth
The Bible is coming ALIVE in every episode .
God Bless you beloved and your team ; great is your Reward in Heaven

INDIA
I love the casting choice.
The scenes that Jesus said daughter to the woman who touches Him brought me to tears, Jesus is so much like the Father GOD 😢
My friend Jesus is God, it is why he calls us his children, we were created in his image, our lord our God
@@Asura10x10 Yes sir, the vast majority of "christians" don't understand the deity of Jesus, who is literally the father manifest in flesh. He's the "image of the invisible God".
(ISAIAH 9:6) - For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(1 Timothy 3:16) - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
(John 1:10-14) - He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
I always suspected that Gaius would become the famous Roman centurion from the Gospel, so to see his faith in Jesus during season 5 was amazing to watch!
I love the Gaius character - love the show.
One of my favorite stories in the Bible when Gauis said I'm not Worthy 28: to 42:21
in the Bible it isnt Gauis- so maybe read The Bible
Gaius looks so uncomfortable once he realizes he's arresting Jesus in front of his mother.
Gaius is BY FAR my favourite character in the Chosen!
You could always see the light in him, From the very beginning~
From trying to take care of Matthew, To working alongside Peter..
To finally, Becoming a True Believer!
And the strongest one at that!
Amen, praise you my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please heal my Son oh Lord❤❤❤
I like the character of Quintas because he's open-minded. People who are curious often find more questions but sometimes asking questions about questions may lead to answers.
The best scene in season 4. The courage, humility and faith of Gaius was represented so very well. Moves me every time I watch it. Filmed so well with the cuts to the expressions on the faces of Jesus and the disciples Faithful to Luke Chapter 7.
He makes us what we aren’t
The Beautiful Truth of Jesus Christ and HIS love and Mercy, its all we have.
Every episode in The Chosen is absolutely amazing have seen almost 10 times n never tired of watching it again Amen ❤️✝️❤️
One of my favorite scenes with Gaius is when he and Peter are repairing the well. When they are done they give each other a high five. I remember thinking that the feeling of accomplishment of something hard is something that transcends the two different culutres these men hail from.
Beautiful , just beautiful! Thank you for the Gaius highlights 😢❤
Thank you for editing this together. In tears, I needed this today. God bless you and your ministry.
No-one could have portraid it better! Thank you Dallas and the Team!
I love The Chosen. My son loves it and has used it with his wife and her two daughters, (I’m a bonus grand mother) 😅 in their Bible studies at home. I can’t get enough of The Chosen. It’s good to go into the Bible and line up with The Word in each episode.
Gaius: *holds hands out for a hug
Matthew: *Barely processes before Gaius moves on*
Gaius: *holds hands out for a hug to Simon
Simon: Okay fine, make it quick.
*5 YEARS LATER
Okay that's enough.
I think it’s more about Mathew isn’t into being touched. :)
@@d.g.rohrig4063 Yes, he doesn't like being touched, I don't think he really knew what to do 🤣🤣
@@d.g.rohrig4063I think Matthew was autistic..my take on him only..😊🙏🙌
Yes, they wrote the part of Matthew with him being Autistic. Great insight!
@@suzannerondeau I just knew it! How great that Jesus knew that all along & let Matthew be Matthew!🙏🙏🙏❤️
Yup... tears again watching this. Thank you for putting it together.
Get use to different. I love that line so much!! ❤️
If the Messiah asks you to follow what else could you say but yes!
Love this ❤....every actor that Dallas has chosen for each part is so so on point, cant imagine anyone else being Giaus,Mathew , Simon, Jesus the list goes on everyone Excels in the part they play as if they were born for this , 💕
I love Gaius. He shows how a Roman is perfectly set up to believe in a SON OF GOD and even of a GOD above all Gods. And once he could accpet that, he could be open to LEARN about Jesus and his gospel.
This is such a realistic series 👏 I've watched several shows that have been very good 👍 but this series is so Realistic and touches my heart ❤ I feel God's Love 💘 Thank You for bringing God's word to life. I understand the Bible more 🙏 What a Blessing! I've have cried watching several scenes. Thank God for this show 🙌
The fact Gaius embraces Jesus, with no words spoken....yet they say so much with a simple embrace. Amazing
Thank you so much for compiling it! one of the gentlest characters outside Jesus' circle. Though you did skip on Gaius buying food and toys for his sons for celebrating his healed son 👉🏻👈🏻🥺
I chose to cut out some things so the video wouldn't be too long. But I do love that moment! I hope people will watch the whole show so they don't miss anything.
I hope we get some more scenes with giaus! He is such a beautiful part of the series his friendship his genuine goodness his whole story brings tears!
I love the Chosen, it’s been hard for me to find the complete series 1-4, because I had lost it with the internet being what it is, a mess of inconsistency with many series I started watching and later on, changing to something else….i love how this series puts Jesus in a more personal connection with others he meets along His path in life, how Gaius reacts to the truth and his faith becoming stronger. Wouldn’t this be the way Jesus would want it to be anyway, an interaction and closeness with those around Him? With all that Jesus did on this earth, it’s even harder for me to think of Him as someone that puts Himself above others like the pharisees and Sanhedrin did over their own people. Since Jesus is the bridge and binding us with God the Father’s Love, the total sacrifice for our sins and our misguided souls, this feels more like what Jesus would have done and to try and accomplish some of these things He had done for others and with his disciples, than what other films have been doing with Jesus and his life story on this earth. The only other one which, so far, depicts Jesus’ suffering to realism and to the extreme, as I truly believe it was done to Jesus, is the one which Mel Gibson did with the Passion of the Christ…this was by far the most powerful and painful moment that goes beyond and above all others I have seen up until that time. The Passion left me in tears, regrets and despair as to how Jesus was treated and had suffered so much for all of us, past, present, and even for our future. GOD is LOVE, COMPASSION, MERCY and GRACE towards us. May God have mercy on our lost, despairing and sorrowful souls, may our hearts grow in His love, forgiveness, mercy and grace. 🙏🏼👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🇺🇸
It’s on a free app called BUtv and on the CW app. I cannot find it on my Fire TV but I downloaded The Chosen on my tablet.
This series has brought me so much joy and has also brought me stronger in faith.
Me niether,i always dream of jesus hunging me as well, just to touch him,i would fall to my knees and kiss his feet,i know i would cry hysterical, just thinking about it makes me choke up😢❤i love jesus soo much,my lord and savior❤❤
I am absolutely thrilled it was Gaius who's son was healed!!! 🙏🙏🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Guias' wife just in amazement and whispering Shalom.... Wow!
Oh how a Great Faith in God,it so Amazing can make a diffirent, HALLELUJAH!,Hopping everyone has had a Faith like Gaius.❤
Oh thank you so much for this compilation. This woven in conversion of Gaius through these 4 seasons has been so very good. I loved the final submission. So perfect and tender. Thank you, thank you. I could watch it over and over. The whole team is doing a fabulous job and you are regularly in my prayers.
Gaius story is one of my favorites! So moving.
He is amazing, qnd he loves more Jesus than the disciples
All the sctors are perfect for their roles...jesus has helped Dallas on this i think
I cried when he converted, it was beautiful
Thank you for this beautiful montage❤. The character of Gaius in one the best scripted ever. Amazing , I love it ❤❤❤
The Chosen is awesome. When I can't sing because of voice problems, I'm going to watch The Chosen. Just now watching Gaius' story and finding it very interesting and feeling this is much like my own life. God has been & is working in my life. Case in point, GOD DOES PROVIDE!!! I received a check that will pay bills and feed me for the rest of the month. Living as a senior, disabled and the inflation that has hit the world, I'M BLESSED💯🙏💜
Seeing Gaius with such humility is sooo wonderful a lesson for we human beings it’s a good lesson indeed Amen ✝️❤️
He is a good field officer, then. Knows when to command, and when to do whatever he would order from his troops.
Gaius was a friend of old apostle John whom he dedicated a letter to
it’s incredible to watch Gaius change from a Roman to someone who was willing to die for Jesus!
The only thing I have a problem with is he’s now in charge and the taxes have to be paid so he’s in the black again. Nothing is going to change when it comes to the people having to pay taxes to Rome
run not after the thing of this world - for they do not satisfy. they leave you empty, deception after another deception.
I love seeing this too. 😢❤❤❤ I would hope to be there for him like Gaius. I hope to be able to recognize Him when I see him.
You will recognise Him!
dont mic Gaius and Cornelius.
Oh such Amazing scene ,Thank you Lord Jesus, you never stop working in our life until we see and feel and recieve your goodness and our lives then we follow you your footstep. HALLELUJAH!!
I love this scene. Thank GOD & my JESUS
This was sooo perfect shown maybe now i can People show why to Love Jesus is so beautiful
Absolutely beautiful
Thank you very much for all the Gaius’s like myself watching this!
Amén 🙏🏻🕯🖖🏼
So impactful and every time watched I'm just filled with so many tears in the mighty name of Jesus Amen 💥🕊✨️🕊✨️🕊💥
I'm not crying!!😪😪💖💖 I love God so much!
I know the feeling in the last scene.
Jesus Christ gave me back my life. I was living in sin and darkness.
He bought his marvellous light into my life. I’m not perfect, far from it
But he is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. Oh how wonderful is his name
Thank you for the video that was awesome
My love for JC is compounded when I watch this show! My faith in HIM is strong. Only he can can show us the Truth for defeating EVIL in this world, which has only intensified greatly in the past few decades. Soon he will be back. Hold strong on this faith in Him. Thank you Father for all you have done for us! 🙏
I’m not crying you’re crying.
, so much for this enactment of Gaius.
Love believe thrust. ❤❤❤
Powerful.
Seeing the character arc trajectory of Gaius, I think the former praetor Quintus might be the centurion that joined Jesus's crucifixion journey. 2:39
I personally disagree because he even said it himself. He clearly couldn’t handle it in Capernaum, and that was one of the smallest cities in the entire region. How would he honestly expect to survive in Jerusalem of all places as a centurion, let alone as the praetor?
I think its Adicus. Since St. Longinus according to traditions was a high ranking officer who soon got blind. Adicus can possibly have diabetes due to his consistent eating and could be partly blind at season 5.
Quintus could be the officer who was tasked to find Jesus’ body during the Acts of the Apostles. But found God afterwards with his squad.
@@josephfigues4202 It would make sense because at least in the Gospel of Mark, the centurion approached Pilate to confirm that Jesus was dead. Not just any ordinary soldier or centurion could just approach Pilate like that. He would have had to be an extremely elite confidant which in this instance would definitely not be Quintus. Plus Atticus was far more fascinated and intrigued by Jesus than Quintus ever was.
What a phenomenal video!! Thank you 🙏🙏✨✨
Wonderful compilation. My favorite character . Thank you for putting this together.
The West rose up with a hug... for a new life!
Giaus is like a fallout MC, keeps going about his business and is consistently weirded out by all the promotions he gets
That’s why Our Big Boss Jesus Christ didn’t hate Roman 😎🙏🔥
He did not hate anybody. He just wanted everyone to have faith in Him, turn away from sin and follow Him.
Thank you for putting this together!
I love Jesus
i absolutely love that scene with gai
us so moving to tears.
Amazing Grace❤
I wonder what's going to happen with Gaius and Matthew in season five.
wonderful rendition
oh....it is SO...BEAUTY-FULL!
Merci...Jesus.
(and all the cast, Mr. Jenkins, everyone!)
helene :))
❤thank u!
