49:03 Thats how the game works, you get rewarded with gear that are close to your power level. Thats why you need to always have your highest power level gear equipped, even though it is bad, to get higher power level gear. Higher power level gear = higher potential stats, like health, damage, enchants.

Ok, for real, I think the skeleton with the shield and glade should be in normal Minecraft. There are no mobs that utilize shields, and I think it would be a good addition.

How am I only watching this for the first time now? Holy crap. Mark got absolutely destroyed by RNG and I can't stop laughing. Wish they'd pick this up again, at least for one more video.
Its not that, the game is bugged in multiplayer the host gets normal loot and anyone that joins gets basically level 1 stuff

Game loot mechanics: Having higher power stuff equipped makes you more likely to get powerful loot with better stats.

Mark kept getting low level equipment because he's still using his low level equipment.
Bob and Wade changes their equipment when they got a new one, but not Mark, so his power level is lower, resulting with him getting lower level equipment too.

Well the reason he's still using the low level equipment was because he didn't really get that many higher level weapons and armor. He mostly got items to get pets. Idk that's just what I saw from the video
That kind of loot mechanic doesnt make sense, you should get loot equal to the level of the map. I don't blame mark for not understanding that.
Also mark did equip the highest level stuff he got throughout the majority of the video
@@akurei4532 probably to prevent low power player getting overpowered gear when they get carried on a high level dungeon.
Level 1 player can get carried to level 90 dungeon, but that lv.1 player will still get low level equipment.

@@Saad-up7lrI remember seeing someone say that the gear you wear (your level) determines what loot you get. He chose things that technically put him at a lower level. Still got bad luck, but he wasn’t helping matters much

His Power 1 gave him +1 health but the Power 9 gave him +32.
Yeah, but it’s not all about those kinds of stats. Those percentages will apply to any weapon he will ever have, AND with the damage reduction it is highly likely he will save more health with said damage reduction. Percentages are where it’s at!
Literally hurt my heart physically when he salvaged all the other pieces of armor lmao. Had to pause the video and just stare.
@@MystralThunder not when your max health is 30 and one piece of armor gives you +1 and another gives you +32... that's 320% better than the +1 armor and the +50% max health being 15% better than the 35% damage reduction makes the higher health armor an obvious choice. Funny how math works sometimes
@@cartet4729 it's not all about health if you have more health that mean you will be able to get hit more times but the damage reduction will let you get damaged less
