    In this exercise video Meredith is guiding you through a Barre & Pilates inspired workout.
    Barre combined with Pilates inspired movements are a great way to add strength and flexibility to your daily routine. Movements using only your body weight help tone areas in your body that may not necessarily be used on a regular basis.
    This is an all standing intermediate level routine and will help challenge your balance, range of motion and strength. Be sure to preview this workout first if you are unsure of your fitness level. Also be sure to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause any pain or discomfort. Remember to take breaks when you need to and have a great workout!

    This is a great barre and pilates sequence. You are so graceful-were you a ballerina 🩰 I would love to follow you with more barre and pilates classes ❤

    I really enjoyed the barre/pilates combo on a senior level. I haven't been able to do any barre for years but thanks to my knee replacement I am able to do this. Thank you!

    First of all, Thank you Meredith for offering some Barre instruction! I've wanted to try it for a few years but my local Barre studio is around $300/month and out of my budget. This routine was a challenge for me being a newbie but I expect that. It's hard for me to keep one knee slightly bent with the other leg straight. I'm confident I'll improve with focused practice. Your commitment to helping Seniors with fitness is greatly appreciated and I hope those who enjoy your channel pay it forward with a donation (via your website) Every bit helps! As someone who's done online marketing, I know it's costly just maintaining a CZcams account. You could easily launch a membership site and charge for your content directly, or create and sell a course for Senior fitness. That's why I encourage happy students to " tip-in" when they can.     I really liked the variety of moves. One suggestion would be to not do so many on one side at a time.
