    Thanks for your videos Curtis and very nice job! I wish we had more residential outdoor package units up here in Mass!! I'm jealous! I noticed your meter was in millivolt dc when reading flame current. I didn't even realize you'd get a reading that way, I was taught to read in uaDC (Microamps) I wasn't even aware you'd get reading that way, which is why I'm addicted to watching other fellow tradesmen do their thing. Keep up the great content brother!

    I would imagine.The reason your flame sensor wasn't holding.Was because you probably had air in your gas line. Just needed to cycle a few times,to bleed it thru. No biggie...

  • @kevinwalker4623
    @kevinwalker4623 Před 9 měsíci +4

    So you had to go through all of that because of the unit no being installed level? Or do they just rust out regardless? The video says you did it in 47 minutes, reality is what 2 hours give of take? When the insulation peels off is there an adhesive that works to put it back? Thanks for videoing these for us!! Extra scratches for Riley please.

    • @HVACGUY

    • @JoeB3

  • @isrosa2894
    @isrosa2894 Před 8 měsíci

    It seems like a lot of work and a big expense for the customer. At this point why not just offer a new unit since it's so deteriorated? I'm just thinking if the heat exchanger is like that, other components would need replacement as well.

  • @fernandobazan829
    @fernandobazan829 Před 9 měsíci +4

    did you ever see the part number I sent you about that lower plate it’s on line it was a different customer but same heat exchanger really hard to find but it’s there in the other video comments great. video

  • @Garth2011
    @Garth2011 Před 9 měsíci

    If this is the same one thats not level. Too bad with all of that work to get the rusted stuff out of there and the owner didn't request the unit be "Leveled" to prevent this improper install from doing the same thing again. He should at least asked about it and then had it leveled and remove all of that growth around the base perimeter which also harbor bugs and moisture.
