Greetings from Serbia, i hope you will come to next derby... Partizan !
You should react to more of the Derby day videos. The derbies are different in different countries so you'll be able to have a better understanding of rivalries and why they exist over here
but this is the best derby in the world...according all
Ok... explanation: regarding this whole football fandom. The thing is football clubs in Europe and in fact mostly everywhere outside of the US aren't formed as league franchises, but are formed at grassroots levels. Partizan and Red Star in Serbia are just 2 examples, but many clubs were formed basically by a bunch of guys passionate about football who organized their own clubs as a hobby... but over time, they grew into... some are multi-billion dollar global businesses. But keep in mind the business is secondary. The more important thing for the fans is what the club represents and you get social and political layers (you get workers clubs, bourgeois clubs, army clubs, police clubs, railroad workers' clubs, miners clubs, ethnic clubs, etc.) and you also get geographic rivalries (neighborhoods within cities, city vs city, region vs region, country vs country, etc.) And all of these things get mixed into all sorts of rivalries OR friendships between fan groups and the derbies are an expression of those social-political rivalries.
It's group vs group expressed in the form of football. In a way... a derby is a political debate. This is also why the American practice of changing the name of a club or its colors or its city... 1. this is extremely rare and 2. don't be surprised when fans react extremely poorly (AFC Wimbledon in the UK is the best example, the new American owners were stunned by the anger of the fans when they did that... and the fans simply created their own club with the same colors and stuff as the old one). Owners are seen as caretakers of the club tradition, they can't do whatever they want with it. Legally, yes they can, but fans will absolutely hate it.
Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade goes way deeper than just a bunch of people passionate about sports. Partizan Belgrade were formed by the country's past communist govt while Red Star Belgrade were formed by the country's anti-communist freedom fighters. Clashes between fans have been ongoing since.
@@ShadowMoon878 this is false....
@@ShadowMoon878 Partizan was formed by officers of the YPA while Crvena Zvezda was formed by the communist youth. Both sides have communist roots, but today both sides are more right wing. And both sides have communist names, other name suggestions by the founders of Crvena Zvezda were "Proleter", "Lenin", "Stalin" and simillar names.
As I said, both teams have communist roots but are now much more right wing.
Ummm... a small correction... the video description says hooligan, but they're not hooligans, they're ultras. There is a difference between the 2 types of supporters: Ultras and Hooligans. Ultras are about the spectacle, about the show, encouraging their team, proudly displaying the colors, waving their flags and displaying their banner (in Ultras culture, that's very important, if your group loses their banner, there's a tradition that the ultras group must disband, since it's considered dishonourable... there is a code to being an Ultra) and yes, occasionally they do get into fights (they're rarer than these videos might suggest, but they do happen). Let's not forget: "No pyro, no party" (the colored flares with smoke) Hooligans are all about the fights with other fans. Yes, they're both hardcore types of fans and at a glance they may look similar, but there's a difference.
Best comment in the sub.
You're Romanian by the way? I remember Popescu playing for PSV. Great player.
@@johnniepeters2717 Hi! Thank you and yes, I'm Romanian.
I don't understand what was the point of your correction?
Delije fight more often than any hooligan group. They are ultras but in same time there is nobody to come close in fight. For me, ultras is level up of being just hooligan. Do you think there is any group in the world that have more fights, more quality fights, more fights with police? Name groups that can even compete in fights with Delije?
I don't count S.America because it would be guess.
Best wishes my Romanian friend.
13:18 its because you got the passion for it in you! :)
Many people would be scared of these crowds, and run far away, people with Passion for the game, see it and feel it in a hold other way.
Shoutout from Belgrade bro, you should come and visit one of our derbies
I like this video for a couple of reasons and more. I like how it's obvious you are actually paying attention to what you're watching and you show interest and also that you don't talk bullshit just for the sake of it. Respect from England.
This is a great video, more derby days videos please.
I like everything you said, man. The part about the image and the fact that you can't really understand because its not part of your life and still you gave 0 bullshit comments. Cheers from Serbia!
I try to keep the bullshit to the bulls lol
bro, to understand the passion behind this, you need to understand the fact that football was the only thing,or sometimes the reason to be happy and free during the comunism in Eastern Europe.
I went to the match between the Rangers and Red Star in March in Belgrade. AMAZING ATMOSPHERE.
Great Reaction and I subscribed recently.
"Ultras Greatest Chants Volume 1 and 3 ", in particular, are videos for you, my friend:).
I just find you on CZcams. You so underated bro! Keep working an than you coming to the top💪❤️
That means the world to me!
Thank you for the video...keep it up bro
Hey im an aquarius!
@@Flexx2nicEReacts Awesome brother!!👍🏼Me too... obviously 😉P.S.Good stuff on your channel 👏🏼
I think you will understand the passion when you someday go over and watch it live for yourself. If someday you decide to travel to europe, book yourself a ticket for one of the games in england, italy, turkey or serbia and you will be able to feel the passion.
Napravio sam dokumentarcu na Veciti Derbi na moj kanal, molim te gledaj i reci mi sto mislis, hvala.
I wouldn’t bother going to watch the premier league, even the bundesliga has better fans
You need to check out Basketball fans atmosphere USA vs Europe
OMG yes especially Panathinaikos V Olyimpiakos. crazy atmosphere.
Please more….
Fan of you from Germany 🙋♂️
Great reaction! Do more derby day videos. There's also another documentary series called Real Football Factories which are more focused on firms/hooligans.

@@Flexx2nicEReacts yup same that's way big crouds who are hyped up about something ,,,if doesn't have to be football,,,demonstrations ect ect are dangerous it sucks you in ...
its like bloods and cribs, its about pride, and representing your " group" , thats all
If you want to watch something really intense about football you should watch some videos about the world cup semi final between RFA and France in 1982. I'd love to see your reaction in front of this tragical game
Me to
Good Reaktion. React to World‘s best Ultras Chants with lyrics & Translation [en/fr/es] (Part 1)
U should check out a vid called the beauty of football. Im english and never understood football..most of my male friends are big football fans. Appreciated the sport more after watching that vid though.
The way i see it is that men have always been tribal, its part of our evolutionary past and ingrained in u and football is a way for men to pick their tribes and get rid of pent up stress that they can't get rid of in everyday life.
Hi, I'm from former Yugoslavia, mum is from Slovenia, dad from Serbia - no one in my family follows football - interestingly enough, my friends from Bosnia (serbs, croats and muslims), don't follow it either. Not sure how that happens, but it happens.
The best way to feel the passion is actually watching the basketball game. czcams.com/video/syDk5FYIWD4/video.html This one Partizan lost to Panathinaikos , it was a tough loss, but the fans kept it a hunnit.
React to the boca vs river plate derby of this series
i've been at this exact match and to be honest it was not even one of the better derbies in belgrade
If you want an example that you could understand, try having a game between all white vs all black and whoever wins has braggin rights till the next game (this is an example that only applies to usa),NOTE i dont know other example in the usa that can divide people to this extent so the can try to understand it ,and see how fans react ,this would be my example of how maybe you could try to understand how it is for us .
Red star shampions 🔴⚪💪🇷🇺
Come on Red Star from a Man United fan!
Bro, you was to early, look what happened couple days before 🤗👍🤫🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
Boca vs river
To understand hooligansim react to FOOTBALL BEASTS , it s an RT documentary
Best way to describe it is that it is like religion.. You have the normal people and the orthodox then there is the weird cultist.. It's not like gangs because gangs make money so it is a job but fotball fan work to be able to pay for being a part of it..
HEYE FEYE UIT STADT ROTTERDAM!!!!
Football is not just in Europe I'm African and the best derby in africa and to me in the world , Casablanca derby 4-4
Exact to om ol to french league 1
Imagine Crips n Bloods attending the game and caring about game this much and still having the same off pitch background. We're as proud of our colors as they are.
How does a person who has never been to this choose where to sit?
If you never been to this, nevermind what side you choose, you will be welcome no matter what. Just try not to cheer for the other time, check wich colors is in your side 🤣🤣
React to POLISH DERBY
Roma Lazio derby italy
If you want to understand, take the hate of gangs in big us cities for each other. Nearest related.
