    Introduction
    Traditional chicken biryani is made by layering marinated chicken and then layered with parboiled rice, herbs, saffron milk & then ghee. This recipe shared here is a shortcut method to make a simple one-pot delicious Chicken Biryani in a pressure cooker or a pot. So this recipe here will surprise you with a good aroma and this is best served with a Raita, Shorba, lassi, and papads.
    One-Pot Biryani Ingredients -
    Preparation of the marination
    500 gms Chicken
    1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
    3 tbsp Curds
    1 tsp Turmeric Powder
    1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
    1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
    Salt (as per taste)
    Preparation of the Biryani
    3 tbsp Oil
    1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
    2 Bay Leaves
    2-inch Cinnamon Sticks
    1 Star Anise
    1 Black Cardamom
    4 Green Cardamoms
    ½ tsp Cloves
    3 tbsp Ginger- Garlic (chopped)
    2 Onions (chopped)
    2 Tomatoes (chopped)
    5 Green Chillies (chopped)
    1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
    1 tbsp Coriander Powder
    1 tbsp Black Pepper Powder (roasted)
    Salt (as per taste)
    1 cup Rice (soaked)
    Water (as required)
    Mint Leaves
    For Garnish
    Coriander Leaves
    Barista
    Tomato Juliennes

    Nice colours :) I'm not an expert but I'd say cooking the rice with he sauce like this would make this a pulao. What makes it a biryani? :) I actually prefer cooking the rice with the sauce like this, because the rice can soak up all the flavours.

      Biryani the rice has to be cooked separately and then layered.

    Being an ardent biryani lover I can say that this is not what a biryani is...this can rather be called a pulao! Infact I do have a similar recipe and I call it a pulao and not biryani!!

    Watching Biryani recipes of yours are awful for me. From your very first recipe what you named as Biryani Lasagna (Curd over Biryani 🙄) and this recipe also. Whatever it may be, it's not Biryani 🙏
