River Fishing for Flathead Catfish! (Big Fish Caught)

- Hey everybody I hope you all enjoy this video we didn’t do to bad caught three nice flatheads and a decent little channel cat but overall a good night of fishing we was using live bluegill and goldfish most of the fish caught was on bluegill we was fishing along a current seam in a deep mud flat on Scioto river southern Ohio.

Yea I plan on switching over to the hellcat rods and the okuma komodo ss reels I’ve grown to like the lower profile reels more recently
Yeah, a hole like that all you need to do is pitch right off the bank. That’s about how I used to fish the Great Miami River too, didn’t have to throw too far out, especially in a good hole.
Yea it’s a nice deep hole there’s no snags at bottom so my guess is it’s a deep mudflat with a lil bend in it them rocks along the bank don’t even go out in the water very far well u can see in the video where it drops off

Hey I appreciate it and well I’ve been doing that for a couple years now because them poles didn’t have clickers the Ambassadeur Baitcaster clicker went out 2yrs ago and the other pole just doesn’t have one so I clip those foam board peace’s on my line to see when I’m getting a bite they actually work really well but I recently just got my orange pole clicker back
