It had the 4.6 v8 which could have been the reason it lasted so long. Cam phasers we’re getting bad and was starting to rust on the bed as it got older.
So basically your telling the world that every modern truck has a chance at blowing up at any given second. The rams are hunks of garbage I’ll give you that, but my 5.4 ford from 06 is holding up just fine.

I think JD Power is mostly paid for statistical tricks, including a score after 90 days still used for ads 3 years later when a lot more is known, not in the brand's favor.
My colleage almost had DPF Fire with their new truck and i also had also in the new truck the brakes do not apply and i almost crashed with it because of this i didn't for millimeters i was lucky
