Resident expert, Kevin Semrow, carves a name log from start to finish. He has done about 45 of these logs and many can be seen around Lake of the Oak, MO. Kevin has worked with wood his entire life, he can make just about anything. He's from Michigan, so a chainsaw license came attached to his birth certificate. But his creativity and problem solving skills stand out the most. Look him up at the lake if you would like one made.

He does, Steve. The logs are $25 per letter. BTW, my youngest came home on a break from his internship with the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. He stole my AO shirt, thought it was awesome.

Ok thanks this is my first one. I have a white pine log about 6’ 6” long, 13-14” diameter. I’m surprising a friend with it, his last name has 7 letters so was just wondering on some of the dimensions. Thanks again
