Fun fact: You should speed up when about to hit something like a deer. Sudden braking makes your cars front dip down and scoop up the animal into your windshield.
If you can resist the urge to slow down, slam that pedal and launch em when it comes to it.
I was gonna say this! no joke, I grew up in maine and we had to watch moose safety videos in drivers ed. you legit need to speed up if you can't avoid hitting one because if they dont fly over the car they'll land directly on top of you and kill you. fun stuff
I also recommend getting a streak, with each hit you get a bonus that stacks up and by the fifth hit you get an extra blast to send em straight to the after life

Not even kidding was driving yesterday and a Tesla started swerving into my turning lane and I had to honk and the guy was on his phone. I can only assume he was on autopilot

I was driving my family's tesla on fsd beta and after going through a traffic light, it starts swerving into the shoulder and then the sensors go off and red lights on the screen, and Im like what are you yelling at me for! This was your doing!
Edit: it was like 10pm suburban road nobody around, I rlly wouldn't test that shit around other cars.

Ok y’all have talked about this too much here’s my story. I’m 16 and my parents have a Tesla. I recently fished drivers Ed and got my license. Our Tesla has auto pilot and I can guarantee you it would never be able to pass a drivers license test. It’s not just ours my uncle has one too and it is the same. I have no idea how these cars are legally because they almost kill us everytime we put it in self drive.

The tesla steering wheel needing weight just seems like a worse solution then what most other electric cares use which is is more like a phone screen in the way it detects touch of s hand which seems harder to bypass

Someone I know when to a rocket launch and people were there at 3 am to get parking but the launch was at 2 pm. The launch got cancelled at 1:30 and when they were leaving they saw a dude completely passed out with the window open and the Tesla was just driving him home.

Had a Model 3 for about a year now, it doesn’t have full self driving which allows to car to change lanes, take freeway exits, and stop at stop signs and red lights. However, it does have “Autopilot” which means on the freeway / long roads with painted lines it will stay in the lane and slow down / speed up depending on the cars in front of you.
I use autopilot literally everyday going to work, based on what I’ve seen, we are still a few years out from cars being able to be FULLY autonomous. However the ability to keep your lane and manage speed is pretty incredible. It is NO DOUBT better than most human operators in that sense. It gives me peace of mind that if I were to pass out or something on the road with a passenger, the car would be able to drive hundreds of miles safely.
